Hotel Continental  

Hotel Continental was located in a very convenient easy to access area for water bus, economical but good food and acces to transport for the airport etc.

I know we are note supposed to use this for complaints but.................. On the last night of our saty there was a storm during the night and the banner outside below our window rattled and banged against the wall all night so that it was difficult to get any sleep.

Excellent location.close to bus and train station, wonderful view on Great channel, breakfast is quite good, friendly english speaking staff would recommend to all my friends

I like romantic sounds of city life early in the morning but if you do not you can find this place a bit noisy

Quite good value for money

The location was good - near the train station and near restaurants and shops. The room was adequate, not too big, not too small. The lobby area was nice, and the breakfast was good.

The staff was awful. I mean really terrible. Unfriendly, unhelpful, and it appeared that we were inconveniencing them with simple questions. I have stayed at a lot of hotels in Italy, and this was the worst staff I had ever dealt with. I would never go back to this hotel. I know customer service is not something very highly touted in Italy, but this was terrible even for Italian standards. If you want a helpful staff that treat you like you are important, forget about this place. If you want an adequate room, slightly overpriced, in a good location and don't care how you are treated, this is the place for you.

Not too clean

Good location, very close to the main railway and bus station. Also easy access to restaurants and shops.

Very tired and shabby room with absolutely no view, a real shame! Bathroom definitely in need of an update. Breakfast very average with little choice which included rock hard bread rolls.

Centrally Located, and 5 mins away from Train Station and Piazza di Roma

Hotel advertised internet available in entire hotel but was only available in the lobby. Front desk staff rude. The restaurant staff were very nice.

Excellent location on the canal. Close to several restaurants of different types. Coffee shops, fine dining. Included hot breakfast. Staff was wonderful, helpful, friendly - went above and beyond at all times.

We believe the rooms could be a bit cleaner. There was a lot of dust on the chandliers. The hotel is very old but that adds to the character.

Good location with reasonable room rate, as well as good service even though the rooms are a bit small and no lift going to some floors. Generally this is a good choice of hotel in Venice.

There is no lift to some of the floors and guests have to bring the luggage down to the lobby by stairs.
