The service at this hotel was excellent. The staff were always happy to help whether with restaurant suggestions or booking taxis and providing directions. The rooms were beautifully decorated achieving a good balance between retaining the essence of the building but with modern lighting and accessories.

Unfortunately we were unable to make use of the spa facilities as they were being maintained on the day we wanted to use them.

Everything. The staff was as friendly, helpful and eager to please as we could have hoped for. The hotel ambiance is outstanding. We spend a month every year touring different regions of Italy, and in the past five years there was only one other hotel/B&B as good as Il Convention.

Parking is inconvenient.

The hotel is average. I would not rank it four stars; more like 2 The big problem with this hotel is there is NO PARKING at the hotel, and nearby street parking is difficult to find.

Just about everything. Only Flaw was Wifi had a technical Problem that made use in room slow.

Very unusual hotel converted from Convent. Small (only 10 rooms) but very cosy and easily walkable to city centre.

The hotel exceeded all our expectations, The location is easily within walking distance of the centre of historic Bologna, the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and the decor a bit quirky. This made it an excelent place to base a visit to a beautiful city. As it was New Year, we asked the hotel to book us resteraunts for evening meals, they chose excelent resteraunts which we may not have visited otherwise. We also were given sound advice on what to see in the city. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

I would be hard pressed to find anything to not like. If there is any problem it would be that the hotel is very discreet about its existance, and has not gone in for a large hotel sign, so finding it for the first time might be a bit difficult. Our airport taxi knew the hotel, so we had no problem, and as it is the only hotel in the road it should not be too difficult, if walking. I would also hate the thought of a big hotel sign on the outside. So discretion should be the winner.

Knowledgeble, friendly, helpful staff, beautiful hotel in an historic building, great location, quiet. Excellent selections at breakfast. Would stay here again.

The helpfulness of the staff and the very unusual room!

The staff were absolutely marvellous, so friendly and helpful, by far the best we've ever experienced. We loved our room, the bed was enormous and very comfortable lighting was great, including in the bathroom (not always the case). It was great being able to have breakfast al fresco, and the facilities were all excellent. Il Convento is also well sited, an easy walk to some great restaurants, and handy enough for the centre and tourist sites. And the staff went that extra mile, sorting transport from/to the airport, and giving considered recommendations re eating.. Wonderful, have already recommended Il Convento - a real 'find'

仕事先へ歩いて10分ほどの位置で、たいへん便利でした。フレスコ画の残る古い建物に現代的なデザインがほ- どこされたとても素敵なホテルでした。スタッフのみなさんもフレンドリーで、リラックスできました。 エレベーターがとても古いタイプで面白かったけど、ここは改善したほうがいいんじゃないかと思いました。ボ- ローニャには何度も行ったことがありますが、サントステーファノ地区はなじみがなかったので、新鮮でした。- 所用のため呼んでいただいたタクシーの運転手さんがとっても愉快で親切な方で、いい思い出になりました。ボ- ローニャという町の面白さがさらに理解できた滞在になりました。
