Hotel Corso    

The first night was terrible because the smekl of smoke cigs. They moved us to a different room the next morning...which was great after that. Make sure that the next customer check the room out before hand if they don't smoke....

the smell of smoke in the bathroom. The internet didn't work in that room.

Only 5 mins walk from railway station and close to town. Also close to the Scrigvoni Chapel for the Giotto frescoes. Nice breakfast room.

Room 220 was depressing in furniture and colour and needed decorating. Bathroom needed renovation. Water tepid in shower and poor pressure and basin almost blocked. Window in bathroom would not shut properly.

Lift had intermittent problem - not hotel's fault but rather I think Italian 'way' that meant it was 4 days before fully fixed (we were on 3rd flr) Well over 60 channels on TV - all either in Italian or dubbed in Italian. Having at least 1 or 2 with sub-titles in other languages (for us, English) would be an improvement.

Friendly staff, very good position, and a good value for your money. Breakfast is awesome.

The bed was too soft and the ventilator in the bathroom was making a terrible noise, it sounded like it was about to explode.

Hotel Corso was clean and tidy and ideally located midway between the rail/bus station and the centre of the city. The staff were very polite and helpful. There was a wide choice available from the self service breakfast buffet. Accomodation was fairly basic but good value for a budget conscious visit to the beautiful city of Padova and the nearby cities of Venice, Verona and Vicenza. Would be happy to stay there again another time :)

I was bited by mosquitos (November), so I was forced to keep window closed 24 hrs.

Location, location, location - oh and the location was quite good too.

Room far from huge. Not particularly close to the better restaurants.

Close to railway and city sights. Reasonable value for money. Helpful reception staff, quickly changed our room as air-con ineffective. Very reasonable breakfast.

Tired, dark rooms, quite noisy at night.

Location is great - near the station and the sights of Padova. Breakfast was plentiful and quite tasty.

No AC in the corridors, AC in the rooms was not efficient enough.

It was great. Our room had a river view that was very beautiful. The room vas very good, The location of the hotel was good too. The breakfast is excelent you have a lot of things to eat . We liked a lot this hotel.

We stayed here for 2 nights in May 12 and used the train to Venice. Very close to train station, very clean and comfortable room, good service from helpful staff who spoke English. We also had a good breakfast provided by the Hotel and would recommend this for value.

The hotel is located nearby the historical center and 5 min. walking to railway station. There is a tram stop at the hotel entrance. The hotel staff is polite. The room is sufficient clean.

The breakfast does not have big variety. Some food (milk, cakes, fruits, cheese, hams) is kept in refrigerators and does not look fresh. The furniture, water sink and WC are really old.

Getting to the hotel by car. No real access.

Pros: Definitely more pros than cons. As a mature traveller lugging a backpack, the Hotel Corso is well located; a ten minute walk from both the railway station and Padova city centre. It was a great location for both exploring Padova and other places, such as Venice. I found the hotel very clean, the buffet breakfast plentiful with adequate choice and great coffee; the receptionist very kind and helpful. Bathroom well stocked & with hairdryer. Excellent free WiFi throughout the hotel. I happily extended my stay. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: After 8pm there is limited choice of food (kebabs and McDonalds) close to the hotel, so you may need to walk into the city centre. But for me this was a very minor issue, as although I am a solo female traveller I felt quit safe walking on the main streets in the evenings.

Ottima posizione, vicino alla stazione ma anche agli Eremitani e al centro storico. Colazione abbondante e di ottima qualità. Prezzo conveniente. E' stata un'ottima scelta!

posizione ottima 5 min a piedi dalla staz ferroviaria, 10 dal centro, staff molto disponibile e accogliente, pulizia super, camera spaziosa e tranquilla, bagno accessoriato, colazione salato/dolce ben assortita. se dovessi tornare a Padova vi tornerei molto volentieri. grazie di tutto

Qualche pecca nel bagno: la finestra che non si chiudeva perfettamente e il lavandino un po' otturato
