Hotel Corte Altavilla  

The hotel was absolutly unique. The rooms were blended into private residences, each with their own entry. Parking was located at a gas station, a short walk from the hotel and was free. Our room had a spiral staircase leading to an upper room with a small balcony and seating overlooking Conversano. Great for wine and cheese at sunset. The breakfast on the upper deck area was adequate, with great service and cordial staff. The location is perfect for wandering Conversano, both old town and the newer areas on Via G. Matteotti. A must see is the interior of the Church of Saints Cosma & Damiano; truly amazing. Also, a 6 km. drive to Polignano a Mare is a must.

The hotel is difficult to find. You must actually find your way into the Piazza Castello and search for the limited signage to the hotel, located behind the Basilica Cattedrale. Our room was great other than the very cramped bathroom, a minor issue.

The architecture of the complx building and surroundings

The room we were staying in had no window, was stinking and very small. I think the photos on the booking.com site are overpromising cause there a re only a few room at the standard you shows on the website which I find very unfair. I wood never book a rom int his hotel if I knew what kind of room I will be given

Only minor fault t v in room didn't work with remote control and few Mosquitos around area a bit hard to find even with gps Navigator.

Friendly restaurant staff. Food limited but OK. Beautiful setting by main piazza near castle and bars, tabbachi, tourist information office etc.

Inconsistent breakfast arrangements (e.g. some days fruit or eggs available, others not) - plus long waits for coffee, crockery, cutlery etc etc. Better organisation / preparation would solve this. Wi fi available (though website says it is "gratis", reception staff did not think so) for chunks of time (1 euro per half hour) but only by reception area, not in rooms. Should be freely available everywhere.

Though the hotel location is in the center of sightseeing, it is very quiet.

They should tell us that we cannot access the hotel by car and we have to leave the car in a gas station.

si la colazione a buffet era un po scarsa.

Albergo in pieno centro storico, in una posizione incantevole. La camera bella, pulita e curata nei dettagli. Staff gentilissimo e disponibile. Noi avevamo anche una cagnolotta, e non abbiamo trovato alcun problema. Inoltre ottimo il ristorante, atmosfera romantica con vista sul borgo, e piatti ben preparati e ben serviti. Insomma un bell'inizio di W.E. alla scoperta delle bellezze della Puglia.

Parcheggio non disponibile nel centro storico, ma in fondo sono solo pochi passi...Per la bellezza del luogo, ne vale la pena....

L'albergo è in pieno centro storico in una posizione incantevole.La camera molto bella, particolare e pulita.Ma la vera "chicca"dell'hotel è il ristorante...si mangia benissimo, l'atmosfera è rilassante e romantica, e poi Mauro, il cameriere, è simpaticissimo e molto professionale. Ci tornerei volentieri

Devo dire che non mi era mai capitato di andare in un albergo 4 stelle e non trovare in camera shampoo e bagnoschiuma, né pantofole, né depliant che illustrassero i servizi dell'Hotel.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo,staff gentilissimo,ristorante eccellente, relax piacevole.Situato nel cuore della città.Lo consiglierei a tutti Grazie per averci ospitato

La posizione è ottima per visitare la città.

Frigorifero della camera rumoroso,letto "sfondato", cuscino vuoto e opere in ferro battuto del bagno arrugginite.
