Excellent service, very good rooms, cosy place, perfect breakfast. Thank you ! :)
Calm inner yard with a lots of green plants. Nice smell. Very helpful staff.
Last bus from Cagliari center (bars, restaurants) leaves at 10:30 PM. No problem if there is a rental car, of course.
We were impressed by room, nice antique bed, big bathroom
Window near busy street
Old style hotel,but comfortable.
lack of space for car, staff does not speak english well
Receptionist was very helpful and fluently speaking English, rooms were comfortable and very nicely furnished, beautiful inner courtyard, wi-fi all the time was working perfectly.
Close to La Vele shopping center with McDonald's, Carrefour, etc.; lavanderia close by
Lots of very narrow streets in this area, GPS systems do not always account for roadworks
The owner and staff fantastic and very friendly. I highly recommend Corte Cristina. If you decide to have dinner at the hotel try their risotto. You will not regret it. Buonissimo..............
No computer facilities. There was one which did not work properly and not for client use. They were very kind to let me use it, although could not stay on it for long because firstly it didn't work properly and secondly I had to stand while using it.
Lovely, helpful, professional staff (the guy at the reception desk, and also the guy serving at the breakfast), great English, too; a real relief. Breakfast was OK, the coffee & cappuccino were great! Wifi in the room. Nice internal garden, must be lovely in the summer. (We were there in March.) Location is far from the city center (closer to the airport, though), but has good public transportation (bus 31). The suburban neighborhood was kinda' interesting, even pleasant at some points. It's definitely best going there with a car; parking seemed to be no problem, unlike in the city center.
We booked a "de luxe" room, but got a "standard" one. (We were not quite sure about our order details and were too tired to argue on the spot, but the next day the receptionist said he would have changed rooms, had we let him know. He immediately offered to refund the price difference, too, or a free upgrade next time, though.) Coat stands, racks, hangers in addition to the wardrobe please! (No place ever has enough of these, to hang towels and other stuff to dry or vent etc.) Some noise from the neighboring room (but this is, again, a general motif with most of the places everywhere). Without a car, traffic was slightly inconvenient: we needed to repeatedly walk a lot to and from the bus stop. We also couldn't quickly find a nice nearby place to go and relax a bit with a coffee or beer. (But Cagliari is not for getting stuck near hotels anyway, so this was not a big deal after all.)
The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. It is possible to have dinner.
The location of the hotel is not very convenient if you want to visit Cagliary. We had rented a car, so didn't have any problems, however, if travelling by public transport and suitcases might be quite difficult.
The staff was very friendly and helpfull. One of the rooms had even sport equipment (triedmill and some vibro trainer). There is a perfect yard for sitting outside and spending evenings.
Rooms in a first floor could be a bit brighter
It does have a feeling of luxury and exclusiveness for not so much money. The receptionist was extremely helpful and sketched for us a 2-hour tour of Cagliari center and recommended a couple of places to have dinner.
The district is not very nice. It takes 20 minutes to drive to the beach (Poetto) and 15 minutes to Cagliari port or to the airport.
Excellent value for money. Warm welcome and staff friendly and attentive at all times. Restored to a very high standard and lovely courtyard at the rear. Good bus service into Cagliari and to Poetto beach.
very few places to eat locally
