The staff are very welcoming and helpful. The property is as pretty as it looks on the website and the pool is lovely with lots of seats and shade if you want. The locations is good as it's only a short walk to the walled city of Lucca. Breakfast is served in a lovely sunny conservatory and there is enough choice.

The Templari Castle is an ancient structure that creates an enchanted atmosphere, a magical place where you can rediscover the past and where you can be catapulted into the Middle Ages in the blink of an eye. The small castle, in which the hotel is located, is an ancient jewel thanks to the faithful reconstruction of medieval environments. The accommodation facility is in fact characterized by precious materials, such as exposed beams, rafters, stones and bricks and is surrounded by a large and luxuriant garden on which stands out a beautiful swimming pool equipped with canopied beds, sun loungers and umbrellas. The Castle presents ideal settings and furnishings to spend a romantic getaway and live a fabulous and unforgettable experience in an "Arabian Nights" Suite, the carefully frescoed walls and the four-poster beds are designed to satisfy the search for romance and mystery . The evocative atmospheres are designed to regenerate body and soul. A stay at the Templari Castle will serve to restore mind and spirit.

The fantastic position of this castle, that is placed just 950 meters from the historical centre of Lucca, allows guests to leave their car in our parking space and to reach both walking or by bicycle the centre, enjoying the particular atmosphere of Lucca, a city where, walking through old alleys among churches, medieval palaces and restaurants (mostly Italian trattorias) seems to go back in time. Castello dei Templari is the ideal structure for couples also with children. The structure has a large private parking and insists on a 7000 m2 plot surrounded by centuries-old trees with hundreds of birds, where history and nature meet. You can spend a holiday in total safety, the rooms are sanitized and the beds in the relaxation area respect the safety distances (anticoronavirus) you will also find a large swimming pool where the whole family can swim safely, thanks to the presence of chlorine.
