You couldn't ask for better hosts. From the moment we arrived until we departed, the owners were fantastic hosts. The location could not be better. The facilities and services were perfect. We plan to return, as our stay was too short. And without question, we will return to Corte Del Gallo.

Our hosts were amazing and made us feel very special. They are very hospitable and helpful. Location - close to train station . Rooms were so clean. Very unique. You could do as much or as little as you wished.

    That we didn't stay longer.

Extremely close to the train station. Owners were very helpful and friendly.

A bit expensive for a bed and breakfast.

After my complaints, the owner helped us take our luggage back down the stairs and onto the train. The view from the terrace where breakfast was set one morning is beautiful.

The owner said there was a "short walk on a flat road" to the B&B. He did not say that there are 23 steps up from the train station to the road which slopes upward at a 25 degree angle, and 47 steps from the street into the B&B. Our room was small, dark, and in the back with a small glass door looking out at a stone wall. Breakfast was good but minimal. No one is there in the afternoon or evening for questions or help. You are on your own. There is no restaurant closer than a 20 minute walk uphill to Corniglia. Beware! anyone with physical limitations should NOT book this hotel.

The property is newly built, nice size and design of the rooms. The owners are very friendly. The garden with the sea view is very comfortable and relaxing for late night chats.

A bit more instructions about how to reach the property would not hurt. Breakfast offers only 2-3 items, but they are very nice (if you are into sweets). Overall, too expensive.

Location - Could easily walk from train station. Breakfasts were delicious and so were the espressos and cappuccinos. Bed was large and comfy, especially for Europe. Roberto and Claudia are warm and wonderful hosts. Willing to provide hiking and restaurant suggestions if needed. Speak English very well. Planning to go back some day!

Our stay in the Cinque Terre was magical and this was largely due to our amazing hosts Roberto and Claudia. It was a home away from home, with the added bonus of fabulous cappuccino! Grazie mille! A thousand thanks!

Corte Del Gallo is a quaint B&B run by a very nice couple, located very close and convenient to the train station in Corniglia. Great ocean views. breakfast outside on the patio looking at the ocean was excellent. Roberto and Claudia are very gracious hosts and are very helpful!

This B&B is close to the train, but you have to walk about 10-15 min to get to the town itself, which is located up on the hill. either have to walk up alot of stairs or take the road. Only restaurants are on top of the hill in the town proper. There is also no ability to walk along the water from Corniglia if you want to visit adjacent towns. There is an inland hiking route though, which will provide excellent exercise for you. the room AC unit did not work as well as desired also.

Everything was great, the couple who run the place are very friendly and go out of their way to advise and help. They location is ideal close to the station and rooms are well appointed.

The price did not commensurate with the amenities. The price we paid per day was for a 5 star for what is effectively a B&B. The bathroom was too small, and the air conditioner was not available since we visited in mid may although it was already quite warm. The rooms open out into a lounge so there isn't much privacy.

The view, the Italian decor, being able to throw open the door in the morning, being able to open glass door and just use louvered wooden door at night, the owners, the lovely outdoor dining, lovely yard, gated, good breakfast

Roberts and Claudia were excellent hosts.Very helpful and diligent in their dealings with us. They provide glasses etc for your own drinks and plates for any snacks you buy out. The location is good for pleasure as the station is only 200 metres away and the rail links to the other villages of Cinque Terre is excellent.Being away from Corniglia village is positive most of the time as the restaurants are not as good as elsewhere in our opinion.Corniglia is the only village not served by boat so less tourists seem to visit.

The walk in to Corniglia is all steps or uphill so not great if you have any problems walking.

Hosts are wonderful and made our stay a pleasure. For us a great location close to the train station with convenient (on street) parking. A new parking ticket machine has been installed nearby.

Quite a walk into Corniglia....the only negative which I think a positive. It is a disincentive for a lot of the "package tourists" following flags.

Roberto and Claudia were fantastic! They welcome you as Family They provided us with great travel tips for the region. This location if perfect to stay at and was a home base to travel the 5 Terre. Quiet, modern and close to the train. Will return for sure!

My stay was too short because we fell in love with Cinque Terre and the locals of Corniglia!

Exquisite location, tastefully furnished and the perfect hospitality extended by our hosts Caudia and Roberto. Breakfast on the terace overlooking Ligurian sea - an unforgettable experience. Very suitable for guests travelling by train, as it is only 2 minutes from Corniglia station. Avoids the hustle and bustle of Vernazza. But iff you want to get there: It's a fascinating 2 hours walk with exceptional views.

The place is ideally located up on a hill with a great view to the sea from the terrace (though not exactly from the room). It is a cute house in the middle of cinqueterre, nicely decorated, modern and clean. The owners were extremely receptive and friendly. We arrived a bit late at night, abou 10:30 PM and Roberto was out there already to help us with luggage and to show us the place. The next morning, both Roberto and Claudia were very helpful with recomendations to see the beautiful cinqueterre.

There was a very unpleasant situation and a bit embarassing. After we arrive, we were about to have some sleep, but my wife saw that the bed linen was not changed and was dirty. there were pieces of hair from previous guests, what was disgusting. We tried to find the owners, but they had already gone sleep. The bed didn't have a sheet underneath the blanket. So we had to turn the sheet around, and sleep in the other side, that was a bit cleaner. Considering the price payed for the room, we expected a bit more attention to cleanliness. The day after, we were even embarrassed and didn't have the opportunity to comunicate this situation to the friendly owners... Another minor problem was the shower, with the water not warm enough for cool winter days.
