convenient location for Lucca, just outside city walls. Good value, nice decor, large bed, plenty of towels and good shower. Little patio outside would be good if nice weather.

Bit dark. and not enough extra bedding for cold nights.Easily confused with hotel of similar name owned by same person, which has a swimming pool. This one does not (although guests are allowed to use the one at the sister hotel - this is a couple of miles away). It is run as a Bed and Breakfast and the reception staffed by very nice helpful woman but speaks no English (but the owner does and phone number is available if any problems).

The location was excellent- 10 mins walk to Lucca walls. Quirky hotel- the member of staff could not speak English but she made us feel welcome and could not do enough for us. The breakfast was superb and we loved the individuality of the hotel.

Small hotel but steps to top floor could be a problem for someone with walking difficulties- no problem for us.

The hotel was quite unique, a lot of thought had gone into the individual rooms. The bed was very comfortable and the hotel was very quiet in a good location to explore Lucca.

The room had a strong perfume smell that was a little overpowering, although we did get used to it.

This place is magical and very romantic.

Far from train station, had to take a taxi.

Relatively convenient to center of Lucca.

Hotel was empty of staff when we arrived mid-day so there was some confusion at check-in (we reserved 3 rooms but only 2 keys were left with our names). We had only one day in Lucca so wasted time trying to figure out what was going on and waiting for staff to show up.

hmmm, what did we like-we atayed one night....if more, we wopuld have left. The owners leave a perpetual note on the door saying they had to go out and have left keys in mailbox....we discovered that note is always there! It is on a bumpy driveway that they call a street but noone can tell you where it is because it is not a street.

l'hotel non è centrale ma è comunque ben collegato: con i mezzi per raggiungere la stazione ci si impiega 10 mim di autobus e per raggiungere le mure ci vogliono 5 mim a piedi. le camere sono belle molto carine tutte in stile mediovali molto curato nei particolari. La colazione è abbondante e fresca. fa una bella impressione ma giusto per una notte.

la pulizia delle camere non è eccezionale sotto il comodino ho trovato una catolina di un vecchio cliente..probabilmente non è stato spazzato il pavimento. Non c'e insonorizzazione tra le camere quindi armatevi di tappi per le orecchie. I bagni sono veramente piccoli e il lavandino microscopico non ci si riesce a lavarsi il viso.

Bellissima atmosfera medievale...una chicca per un breve soggiorno.

Zwar stehe ich nicht unbedingt auf "romantische Erlebniswelten", aber der Einrichtungsstil ist originell, liebevoll bis ins letzte Detail konsequent durchgestaltet, und das hat mir sehr gefallen. Die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sehr grosszügig im Raumvolumen.

Man muss einfach wissen, dass es für Gehbehinderte und besonders beleibte Menschen nicht geeeignet ist, da manches zierlich gestaltet ist, auch nicht für Kinderwagen etc.
