Location and proximity to Termina. Rooms very quiet. Great price.
Bathroom smelled so bad of sewer from drain, we could barely stand it. Breakfast was very basic.
price and location--very quiet street at night near Termini; staff was prompt to respond to requests, and helpful.
no toilet seat; damaged door jamb to room entrance and half doorknob on room door; continental breakfast out of a box.
The location was good. Staff was helpful. Clean rooms.
Airconditioning did not work, elevator to 4/5 floor broken, beds horrible mattresses.
Very close to rome termini station , rooms were clean and comfortable
The breakfast was at 8 am which was very inconvenient as many sightseeing tours were early and most days we had to skip breakfast . Also breakfast was very sad .
Proximity to the Termini train station. The rep. at the front desk was very helpful both before we stayed and at the time of our stay. Other staff were helpful.
Washroom was very small. Wall at the head of the bed was peeling. I understand that the price of $148.00 per night reflects the nearness to transportation, but we have stayed at hotels for half the price, with much nicer facilities and nearness to transportation, (maybe not in Rome).
good staff and hospitality . good location. very helpful.
bed rock hard. bathroom 1.2mtx1.2 mt not good when you over 6 foot tall. extreemly noisy hearing slammed doors and people in above rooms.
Ilocation - extremely close to Termini(station on both metro lines) staff was willing to help with anything you ask(given the rest of the hotel experience, at least that's a plus) cheap - but you get what you pay for
tiny rooms - no space to move in the room or shower or toilet a little shady setup - elevator to rooms is in separate building from the reception and the same building has another hotel.(cortorillo was previously a hostel - now became a hotel) horrible breakfast and is limited to only two hours in the morning
Pretty well located; the hotel is near Termini, where you can get any mean of transport. You can reach the center as well just a little walk from there (around 15 minutes).
The shower didn't have a screen, so the water went out, and the floor of the bathroom was consequently weet every time.
The unlimited breakfast.
The staff assigned during our check in is not friendly. The hotel room especially the toilet smells bad. Not recommendable to our friends.
The price was good
Had a breakfast but it was not up to much
great location nice staff
The hotel is located in a very good place, two corners from Termini, everything is available in 15 minutes on foot or by public transport. Our room was quiet and warm, and the bed was comfortable. Also, everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful and kind.
The only thing that comes to my mind was the very tiny bathroom, just because of its size. But you can deal with it. :)
Location is excellent.
near the termini station, lots of restaurants in the area, staff are helpful and answered every questions we asked,
bathroom very tiny and not very cleaned
Nice hotel for Budget minded people 2 blocks from termini . Lots of local restaurants. Very clean and well cared for. Nice people at front desk. Good coffee and breakfast . Just easy and painless.
The price was right, hotel was easy to find, close to Termini. Unlike other hotels in Europe, there was no central heating (a great relief because it makes rooms unbearably hot and you often can't open the window). It was nice to be able to open the window and enjoy fresh air.
Having to hand keys to reception when leaving for the day, constant feeling of being watched by the hotel staff, breakfast was average (milk was warm, juice tasted awful and no toast available). Doors were difficult to unlock, lights difficult to figure out.
very good hotel good service very nice personel everyting was good
Location was excellent, walking distance from central railway station and subway station.
Bathroom was poor, shower water pressure weak
The staff is very friendly and helpfull.
Friendly staff - very helpful after my wife's purse was stolen in the metro. Clean environment - informal atmosphere. Basic but pleasant room and facilities.
On arrival, we noted that the room was requiring minor maintenance such as faulty light bulb, safe not working, sink plug not working. Not all remedied after mentioning.
Quiet for an hotel near Tremini
The coffee and the fixtures in the room needed attention
This hotel was very conveniently located near the Stazione Termini in Rome with bus and train service. From here we had easy access to all the major sites, many within walking distance. The front desk staff were very helpful. They told us the best place to change dollars into euros (and it was the best, we checked around!) and where to get the best and least expensive gelato at Fassi'S. They were also very accommodating. We arrived at 8 A.M. from L.A. and they nicely let us leave our bags until our room was ready and hurried to let us have early check in. Gave us just enough time to go get some of that gelato...breakfast of champions and exhausted Americans!
We arrived during a heat wave and the advertised "air conditioning" was woefully inadequate. But, it was still cooler than outside!!
The location of the hotel was very convenient for us as the hotel was very close to termini station and lot many tourist attractions were nearby or easily approachable by bus or metro...
The comfort level is very poor. 1. Bathroom is too tiny, i cursed myself why i booked this hotel 2. the Bed / mattress was very uncomfortable, it was making noises . 3. the furniture was broken in the room. 4. Airconditining worked well on ist day , afterwards it was less effective. 5. Breakfast was quite ordinary but i have no complains, i could eat outside as well..but the above 4 points did bother me...
The room seemed clean even though it smelled bad. The women on staff seemed to be trying their best.
Smelled bad, like a real stench. We kept the windows open; the a/c was rarely on anyway. The Wifi was so intermittent, it was mostly useless and very frustrating. It was the most expensive and worst place we stayed in during a month in Italy.
