Das Country House ist der perfekte Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung von Venedig und Umgebung. Die Gastgebeber Rosa und ihr Mann sind überaus zuvorkommend und in jeglicher Hinsicht sehr hilfsbereit! Es gab nichts, was Rosa nicht für uns möglich gemacht hat (z.B. Bootcharter, Transfers etc.). Sehr bemerkenswert sind dabei Rosa's Fremdsprachenkenntnisse! Nicht zu vergessen ist Luisa, die eine hervorragende Köchin ist und uns auch spontan mit einem phantastischen Menue verwöhnt hat! Wir waren dort mit unserem 7-jährigen Sohn und unserer 15- jährigen Tochter, auch sie wurden sehr kinderfreundlich empfangen. Wir würden jederzeit wieder in das Country House reisen! Nochmals vielen Dank!

Very friendly. Convent to the airport. Excellent and reasonable restaurant. Clean and well maintained. So close to the airport, with a friendly shuttle wagon that we used for 5 Euros each to catch an early flight out of Marco Polo Airport. We used a cab to get there and it was almost 20 Euros. The shuttle also can take you to a casino for a lesser fee. We were greeted with a glass of local wine, and later enjoyed a wonderful Caprese salad and pasta with earthy flavorful mushrooms. It was a nice contrast to the crush of tourists in Venice, and we enjoyed our friendly, gracious hosts.

They were conserving energy so it.was a little dark at times, especially on the stairway.

We can honestly say, despite being a little distance from Venice, this was one of the nicest, frendliest and easy going hotels we have ever stayed in. Nothing was too much, Rosa and her Husband were fantastic, always smiling and ready too offer advice and recomendations. Louisa was at hand all of the time for any inpromptu snacks, drinks etc. What a fantastic swimming pool. Summing up in brief ......... what a fantastic place. (Be sure to take up the offer for 20 euros of the Island tour from the hotels own jetty)

It's location is too far to solo traveller.

This is a comfortable and economic hotel. The people who run it and work there are as helpful as possible and friendly with it - some language difficulties but as the proprietress speaks 8 languages, make sure to ask her the difficult questions. It's a bit out of town for Venice visitors but with this in mind, a stay here should be rewarding. We really enjoyed the Pinot Grigio welcome drink on a hot day and the pool was empty of people so it was great for swimming laps.

The management are also the owners and they clearly take pride in their hotel. All of the rooms have been furnished to a high standard, comprising both a modern look, but with traditional features such as exposed wooden beams (not old wood, though - it is all new). Their restaurant and dining area is comfortable, with very good quality wine at very reasonable prices. The hotel grounds are extensive and private, with a sizeable pool that is spotlessly clean. I would recommend this as a hotel to stay at for a weekend or longer break in Venice. The owner speaks perfect English and trips can be organised into Venice. I would recommend this, rather than staying in Venice itself. Of course, I will return to this hotel with my girlfriend for a city break - it really is a mini-oasis on the outskirts of Venice and I would highly recommend this establishment.

It was clean and the price was ok. The shower was powerful and the room was dark and quiet at night. Lots of tv channels in room. A friendly dog gave it a homely feel.

They messed up arrangements for my transfer on which nearly messed up the rest of my trip, then although they did take me to the airport to make amends I was charged double the price they advertise for the transfer even though it was their mistake! Also the bed was not that comfortable. Too hard although I like a hard bed. Although I had told them when I would arrive I also was not made to feel welcome at all - left waiting a long time to check in and staff were unfriendly and dismissive. The breakfast was only ok, I certainly wouldn't have paid for it. The lakeside location is really nothing to get excited about either - I went for a walk to investigate and it was just a muddy stagnant almost wildlife free zone with a busy road roaring through the middle. Very slow response to an email enquiry I sent after booking as well.

The staff were extremely welcoming and made you feel at home. The only complaint I have Is that you are charged to use the pool, on the pretence that is not owned by the hotel which we felt was rather cheeky. The charge is only 5 euro each which is not so bad it was just the principle of it that annoyed us. Otherwise a pleasant place to stay.

Good base for visiting Venice and the Laguna when you travel with children and need a relaxing retreat (only 15-20 minutes by car to Venice). Nice pool area (for a small additional fee). Very personal and friendly service (bed and breakfast type atmosphere). Landlady has very strong skills in many different foreign languages. The hotel recommended a full/half day private boat trip directly from the hotel to visit the laguna and the islands. This was reasonably priced and a great experience. The hotel is what it claims to be: An Italian country house.

The hotel is in the middle of nowhere. You can reach Venice in many ways but having a car is an advantage.

Managers were most friendly and accommodating. Facilities were great: comfortable, clean room; pleasant restaurant, great pool; easy access to Venice. I cannot have stayed at a better place.

Nothing to disparage.

This hotel is situated 5 mins from Marco Polo airport. There is a hotel based shuttle bus that could pick you up from the airport. Notwithstanding the fact we arrived there almost at midnight the hotel owner, who by the way speaks most european languages including Russian, came out to meet us personaly. I would recomend this hotel for people who travels around Italy for one night stand.

Close to the airport (I had late arrival) and the hotel suggests you a transfer only for 10 euro (it is twice cheaper than taxi-price). Very welcome stuff, they explained me kindly how to go to the railway station and even drove me to the bus stop. Nice big room, clean and comfortable.

My stay at the Country House was very positive. The proprieter, Rosa, was incredibly nice and welcoming, organizing a shuttle for me whenever I needed a pick-up from or ride to the airport. The hotel is located in the country-side about 20 minutes outside of Venice, so if you're looking to stay in a place within walking distance to Venice, this isn't the place for you, but the facilities are fanastic, and the continental breakfast every morning was very good as well. Rosa really makes this hotel. Couldn't have asked for a nicer person to oversee my stay.

Small but very nice family-running hotel. Nice surrounding, good meal in the restaurant. The owner is very friendly and speaks all the European languages.
