Countryhouse Collestrada is a rustic 20th-century property in the Umbrian countryside, 10 km east of Perugia. Free bikes are available, as well as a free shuttle bus to and from Perugia Airport. The property’s equipped garden comes with a swimming pool surrounded by sun loungers. The restaurant serves traditional Umbrian cuisine. Rooms and studios at Collestrada country house have rustic furnishings and each one has a fan and TV. The private bathroom has free toiletries and a hairdryer. Perugia Porta San Giovanni Train Station is almost 4 km away, and the exit of the E45 motorway is 400 metres away. Perugia Airport is less than a 10-minute drive away. Posizione Noi ci siamo stati in occasione del capodanno 2013. Poichè il prezzo era in linea con le richieste per gli hotel 4 stelle della zona, avevamo delle aspettative coerenti con questa premessa. Purtroppo siamo rimasti assolutamente delusi (per dire poco): la camera era assolutamente non adeguata poichè molto piccola, con arredamento vecchio riciclato e tv da 14'' a tubo catodico e con decoder separato. Il bagno era separato in due con una porta scorrevole in plexiglass: da un lato il lavabo e dall'altro doccia, water e bidet tutti insieme. La cosa sconvolgente è stata comunque l'odore fortemente sgradevole che proveniva dallo scarico della doccia e che pervadeva tutta la camera. Anche il figlio del titolare è rimasto nauseato quando ci ha accompagnato in camera e siamo stati costretti ad aprire per lungo tempo la finestra (e la temperature esterna non era propriamente estiva) e ad irrorare la camera ed il bagno con un deodorante da ambienti. Al sopraggiungere di altri ospiti in camere attigue si è attivata la medesima procedura. Unica nota positiva era la pulizia della camera e del bagno. La mattina del primo abbiamo manifestato le nostre rimostranze al titolare, sostenendo che il livello di servizio (se così si può chiamare) offerto non era assolutamente adeguato e sopratutto incoerente con il prezzo richiesto. Anzichè scusarsi per l'accaduto, il titolare ha accampato una serie di scuse e motivazioni, delle quali la più ilare è stata questa: "di solito la puzza si ha nella prima camera del corridoio, voi avevate la terza...". Per fortuna, essendo il primo dell'anno, non avevamo alcuna intenzione di controbattere a tanta pochezza, ma abbiamo ritenuto opportuno condividere questa esperienza nell'auspicio che non venga ripetuta da altri.

Ottima posizione come punto strategico per visitare le principali cittadine umbre, gentile accoglienza, stanza comoda in stile rustico, buono il rapporto qualità/prezzo, molto buona la cucina e la sala pranzo. Il bagno, e bisogna sperare di esser da soli al piano camere per I troppi rumori
