Courtyard By Marriott Rome Airport Hotel    

The shower was just a trickle. Really. Add to that a narrow space where the shower curtain stuck to your back. Unpleasant.

The hotel lived up to expectations of a Marriott. Very clean and comfortable.

Happy hour appetizers were cold and insufficient. We arrived within first 30 minutes and the selection was fair. They never added any hot and fresh items. Was disappointed.

In order to take the luggage to the elevator you have to use stairs and they have a ramp that is not easy to use.

It was a "no frills" hotel. Also, we were suppose to have breakfast included but were told we could not have breakfast.

This was simply a stop-over hotel as we had to be at the airport in the morning - it was a perfect location. The room was very spacious and comfortable (huge compared to most European rooms) as was the bathroom. Shuttle service between the hotel & airport was convenient.

The restaurant & bar were extremely over-priced, although the bartender was great. Food was mediocre at best. Front desk staff not friendly - they seemed indifferent towards guests. Did not feel appreciated as a guest, more like an inconvenience. Would probably not stay here again.

A/c didn't work in room. Front desk said it was fixed after working on it while we were gone for the day. A/c still did not work. Charge for trip to airport steep due to time traveled only 10 minutes maxium. Charge from airport to hotel to hotel unnecessary...most hotels do not charge for staying at their hotel. When checking in told breakfast was included for two night reservation. On second day refused to honor breakfast and wanted to charge $24.00 for two people...outrageous. I will not be staying at this hotel during any future visits to rome, italy while frequently traveling to europe.

This is an airport hotel therefore expectations are low. The restaurant was convenient. the towels were nice and large. If I needed an airport hotel in Rome I would stay there again

First time I have ever had to pay for a shuttle from the airport. The wi-fi was limited to two devices.

Had difficult time finding where to catch shuttle from airport to hotel....reservation confirmation should inform client where to wait.

Consider the additional costs - 6 euro EACH for a ONE WAY airport shuttle. 12 euro for WIFI. Add this up and it may be cheaper to stay at the Hilton directly at the airport

The friendly courteous staff. The wonderful dinner at the restaurant. We were just overnighting to catch an early a.m. flight to London.

Lobby. The narrow space and steep steps to the tiny elevators. There is a ramp to roll your luggage up to the elevators which we found difficult to manage as seniors. The staff did assist us however.

Location to the airport.

They failed to inform us that the courtesy shuttle to and from the airport cost $6.00 euro each way per passenger. Probably would have been better off with a taxi since the hotel is literally 3 minutes from the airport. Also, the air conditioning in the hotel did not work and they did not have staff or anyone on hand to fix it. It was very uncomfortable.

The convenience of buses into the centre of Rome

The return bus was at 20.30 then there wasn't another one until 2330. There should be one in between this time

I liked the proximity to the airport

Having stayed in several Courtyard marriott hotels, I chose this one for my last night in Italy...because it was close to the airport and Courtyard Marriott hotels are usually very nice. This hotel was nice looking...however, the ac did not work at all. Our room was extremely warm...think like 85+ degrees with the ac running at high speed. We could barely sleep and couldn't wait to get out of the room the next morning. The hall was a good 20 degress cooler than our room. At check- in I heard the man helping us talking to another guest about the heat in her room. He simply told her that some rooms were cooler than others...and some were warmer. Boy,was that an understatement!!! Since we don't find being drenched in sweat pleasant, we cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers.

I liked it was close to the airport.

My room was very very hot. It was uncomfortably hot. Would not cool down all night. My stay was in April when it's not even hot outside. I was miserable all night long.

The cost of getting to the airport either by taxi or their shuttle. I reserved a room at that location because it had a shuttle to airport. I paid 20 Euros for a taxi on April 10 through the hotel because the staff told me the shuttle didn't run that early, and lo and behold, my friend and I were herded onto the shuttle and some man kept telling me it was the same as another shuttle parked out front. I tried to explain that I had paid 20 Euros for a taxi(and for which I had a receipt from the Hotel), not 6 Euros each(for my friend and myself) and all of the staff refused to listen. Since this was 5 am, and our flight left at 7 am, I could not wait to argue the point. I question why I had to pay 20 Euros for a 12 Euro trip. I question why I had to pay at all, because if they have a shuttle, it should be a free service, or discontinue it altogether.
