Breakfast. Incredibly small bathroom. Artificial light throughout
close to local transportation, in particular the port terminal
the general area kind of run down
Very close to the port and town square, we really enjoyed the cuisine and gratiousness.
breakfast with warm buffet which is unusual in Italy
view from the room but please we took economy room so I wouldn't expect more
There are no big signs advertising this hotel and there is quite a shabby exterior and lobby but once you find your way to your room everything changes. It is clean and modern and the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Location is great for the port and shopping but a bit of a trek to the train station
The wifi is free but incredibly hit and miss whether you can connect or not
The best of this hotel are its location and personnell. The port and the stop of buses to the airport are just 5 minutes by foot away. Girls at the reception spoke good English and were very welcoming and helpfull. The bathroom is tiny but clean, everything works properly. And they provide you with 4 different toweles! There's a coffee-machine in the room with a coffee tablet and some sweets.
The bed is so large that it barely leaves enough place to move in the room. The window faces another building standing very close, so there's almost no daylight and fresh air.
Some of the staff members.
Breakfast had very limited store bought items. After the first day we did not eat breakfast at this place. It is very difficult to find, there is not even a sign at the building. I wouldn't recomend this place.
Good staff, Cleanliness.
Close to all the key sites.
Certain rooms can be very dark.
They should make some sign on the G/F so that I could find the hotel more easily, I can't speak Italian asking for tje location is not that easily.
The room was recently renovated and looked very nice and modern.
The hotel is located on a small side street and there isn't much for signs to figure out where the hotel is. I had to go next door to ask someone in the video slot parlor where the hotel was. We finally noticed a small sign on the wall that told us to buzz a # for the hotel and we were told which floor to come up to. As you enter the building, it looked like we made a big mistake, it was like walking into a construction zone and we thought we had made a big mistake. When we get to the floor we were told, there were still no signs and no obvious doors for the hotel. After going to the next floor up, eventually the receptionist of the hotel came out looking for us, the hotel was located between the 3rd and 4th floors, up a partial staircase from the 3rd floor, which means no direct elevator access. The wifi did not work in our suite even though it was supposed to, it only seemed to work from the common area.
hotel is extremly clean inside , situated close to the port (ferry to Capri). Staff is very good .
During the night- noise of air condition machine from nearest building
Great room/ suite. Nice staff.
Located on dirty , scary alley. Rooms and reception are on the third floor.
The location was quite good, the room felt quite modern, good bathroom, TV, air con etc. Bed is nice and comfy, breakfast was great - lots of variety. Staff are very accommodating and friendly, give lots of tips on day trips etc.
Very noisy, I'm a light sleeper and could hear some kid crying all night, plus the noise from the street. Thin walls. The air con was also quite noisy. Didn't sleep well both nights unfortunately.
The apartment was very modern but there were no instructions on how to use the sauna and tub. What I liked most was the pleasant attitude of Valentina in reception
It was somewhat difficult to find the place. The keys to two of the doors necessary for entry were difficult. Other than Valentina the staff were very sullen. Also, this is the first hotel I have ever stayed in that did not have a telephone. I suppose they assume everyone has a cell.
Great (safe) central location, near the coastal strip, bus tours and city. Very good multilingual staff who make you feel welcome. Rooms are specious, v nice decor and clean. Secure and 24hr reception.
As others have mentioned, the entrance to the building is shoddy and run down. However once you reach the 4th floor and enter, it's a different story and much better.
Location is really good. The staff was super friendly. Breakfast had tons of variety, healthy options and the products were of high quality. Rooms were comfy and clean.
The breakfast space is little, so you might wait if you go when few other people are already eating. And for the same reason you feel pressured to not take too much time. The red and white vivid decorations weren't on our specific taste but this is super subjective :)
The room was luxurious and ambious, there was variety in breakfast breakfast. It is a quarter's road pn foot to the nearest pedestrian road and there are many restaurants in the area
The building is under renovation and this isn't mentioned anywhere, the reception is on the 4 th floor, there is no one at the main entrance and the first impression is that the building is abandoned
Good location if you need to stay for 1 night before ferry trip to Ischia f.e. But not more. Good breakfast.
Hard to find, old building, dirty rooms
The hotel is very close to the ports and not far from the train stations. The staff were polite.
The hotel was hard to find - only the tiniest of signs next to a closed door in a slightly scary-looking street. Once inside things didn't improve. The reception hall was in a state of disrepair or mid-renovation with loose wires and bare plaster all over. In the lift the buttons appear to have been damaged by vandals, which again serves to make one feel insecure in the area. The room was large and spacious but let dow by the cheap fittings. The bathroom sink was on a slant meaning that water spilled onto the floor. The showerhead was hanging out of the wall and a large mirror was not even fitted to the wall but just resting on the floor which posed a potentail risk for someone leaving the bathroom in the dark in an unfamiliar room.
We stayed in the best room. It was great. The room was brand new, and the jacuzzi bath etc was very nice. Breakfast was good.
The hotel entrance and the rooms are all being refurbished. Also hard to find. You need to ask at the local cafe bar where it is.
Staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They even had a surprise for us upon our arrival as we are traveling on our honeymoon.
Location was hard to find and a little sketchy but that is everywhere in Naples. They are currently remodeling the entry way.
Very near the marina for the ferries to the Amalfi Coast. Also just 3-5 mins away from the bus stop. We arrived from the Naples International airport and took the alibus from there. The last bus stop is at the marina. saved us $ from taxis! Plus great staff, excellent breakfast.
it was a little difficult to find. lack of signs.
Good location, although quite hard to spot it - 1st floor in a residential building, very poor entrance (under construction). The staff was nice, gave us an upgrade to a superior room.
The interior was just not welcoming; the black stones on the flooring and walls made it quite dark and cold, also the windows were overlooking in the back yard, close to other buildings.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean, well appointed. Location was very good - close to the port and the city center. Breakfast was nice, and they even were thoughtful and left some breakfast laid out in my room for me knowing that I was leaving prior to the official breakfast times. Nespresso in room was awesome. Staff arranged a cheap fixed price taxi service for me to get to the airport, and the taxi actually showed up on time at 4:30 a.m. and charged me the correct amount. Wifi worked awesome and was free in-room.
The building was run down. The small hotel sign outside on the buzzer at the front door is so worn that it is hard to figure out what you need to do in order to get buzzed in. Then there are no directions as to where to go once you're inside. The "hotel" only occupies the fourth floor in what otherwise looks like an apartment building. The reception isn't 24-7 as I think I read in the original description when I booked my room. I had to leave the hotel at 4:30 a.m. to catch an early flight and I was really worried about dragging all of my luggage downstairs, locking all the doors behind me, and leaving my keys at the desk with no one around to help me in case the taxi never showed up. Luckily, the taxi was early and was waiting for me when I got downstairs. Also, there is an elevator, but it stops mid-floor so there are a bunch of steps that you need to go down and then up (it is awkward) in order to get into the hotel. Staff does not come out and offer to help with luggage. No English language TV channels. No land-line phones in the rooms, so if you want something you have to go to reception to ask. Also, without a phone in the room, there is no way to receive or make calls (note: I didn't have a local mobile phone, so this was an issue for me).
