We stayed in the best room. It was great. The room was brand new, and the jacuzzi bath etc was very nice. Breakfast was good.
The hotel entrance and the rooms are all being refurbished. Also hard to find. You need to ask at the local cafe bar where it is.
Staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They even had a surprise for us upon our arrival as we are traveling on our honeymoon.
Location was hard to find and a little sketchy but that is everywhere in Naples. They are currently remodeling the entry way.
Good location, although quite hard to spot it - 1st floor in a residential building, very poor entrance (under construction). The staff was nice, gave us an upgrade to a superior room.
The interior was just not welcoming; the black stones on the flooring and walls made it quite dark and cold, also the windows were overlooking in the back yard, close to other buildings.
Staff was helpful and friendly. Room was clean, well appointed. Location was very good - close to the port and the city center. Breakfast was nice, and they even were thoughtful and left some breakfast laid out in my room for me knowing that I was leaving prior to the official breakfast times. Nespresso in room was awesome. Staff arranged a cheap fixed price taxi service for me to get to the airport, and the taxi actually showed up on time at 4:30 a.m. and charged me the correct amount. Wifi worked awesome and was free in-room.
The building was run down. The small hotel sign outside on the buzzer at the front door is so worn that it is hard to figure out what you need to do in order to get buzzed in. Then there are no directions as to where to go once you're inside. The "hotel" only occupies the fourth floor in what otherwise looks like an apartment building. The reception isn't 24-7 as I think I read in the original description when I booked my room. I had to leave the hotel at 4:30 a.m. to catch an early flight and I was really worried about dragging all of my luggage downstairs, locking all the doors behind me, and leaving my keys at the desk with no one around to help me in case the taxi never showed up. Luckily, the taxi was early and was waiting for me when I got downstairs. Also, there is an elevator, but it stops mid-floor so there are a bunch of steps that you need to go down and then up (it is awkward) in order to get into the hotel. Staff does not come out and offer to help with luggage. No English language TV channels. No land-line phones in the rooms, so if you want something you have to go to reception to ask. Also, without a phone in the room, there is no way to receive or make calls (note: I didn't have a local mobile phone, so this was an issue for me).
Super breakfast, nice personnel, good location
No entrance, not really a hotel but a floor in an unwelcoming building.
Great location for visiting the city or to make trips to Capri and Amalfi. Friendly staff. If we ever go back to Naples will stay here again.
The location was okay after you find the place first time. It very close by metro and port. The breakfast was good. The staff (reception) was good.
Large room, adequate wifi, friendly staff, good breakfast
Very nice young people seving there.
Great large rooms with nice furniture. Verry nice and helpfull staff.
Wi-Fi was spotty.
The staff were very helpful, they gave us great recommendations on places to eat. Sorbillo is fantastic! Great location, close to the port. Not to far away from other attractions as well.
Quite difficult to find initially.
The staff were excellent. They were professional in every communication and gave us assistance with all of our requests. We especially appreciated the recommendation to park our car at Parccheggio del Mare (the parking assistant drove us to the hotel from the garage and then drove our car to the hotel on the day of our check-out) and also being able to leave our bags at the Hotel on the day of our check out.
We weren't prepared for the condition of the building. It wasn't a problem for us during our stay, but it was quite a surprise (shock) to walk through the hole-in-the-wall entrance and enter a foyer that was half completed - concrete render and wiring all exposed.
Location and the staff.
Noise due to construction. :-(
Good location and staff were very friendly and helpfull . Excellent shower. Towels and bedding changed daily
Bathroom was a bit cramped but no real problem
Very modern, clean, facinating room with exceptionally nice and helpfull personal.Silent and peacefull location in the heart of Naples. Would defenitely return.
Nothing at all.
Modern and clean facilities, friendly and attentive staff, ideal location for the access to the port and ferries to the islands (Capri, Ischia).
Naples in General is not a pretty city, and although the hotel was convenient for accessing the port, the port area was not very pretty either
I liked the big rooms, Nespresso Machine, Wifi Connection, and very friendly staff. The decoration is quite nice, relaxing and new. I was quite satisfied with the location of the hotel! It has been a very comfortable trip for me.
I did not like the fact that I could not see the street from my room, nor the beautiful Italian sun. It is also a pity that the hotel does not have a terrace, could have been marvelous. The breakfast was a little week. I eat clean and healthy yet the only thing for me was bread, eggs and peanut butter. I would love to have cheese, olives instead of packed biscuits.
The receptionist was so helpful. She went out of her way to make us comfortable, even though I was tired and cranky. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Excellent breakfast as well.
Excellent location, but we walked by several times because the sign is xo small.
Excellent location for ease of reaching most parts of the city on foot or bus.
Thin walls so one very disturbed night!!! Also could hear breakfast preparations early every morning as all tiled floors.
Friendliness, flexibility and availability of staff.
Noise from undergoing construction works. Breakfast could be improved significantly..
location, receptionist speak different language and helped us a lot for finding nice activities and excellent restaurants. Nice room
Good location, very close to main shopping area and also the port.
Jacuzzi bath was dirty and omitted a bad smell when turned on. You can hear the noise from the street, reception and other rooms.
