5 mins walk to the railway station
He is hospitable
Nice value for money...near to termini station all sightseeing including vatican are relatively close max 45 min to reach it if u like walking
Termini Station max 5 minutes walk, so you can travel everywhere you need from there inside and outside of the city. Owner is a really nice person, rooms & shower feel like you're at home. + a good WLAN!
The hotel is a block northwest of Termini station, very convenient. After reading posts about other value hotels located a little more south of Termini, we were worried about the neighborhood and condition of this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised. It shares a building with Hotel Catherine, which had a sign clearly posted out front, so it was easy to find in the dark. It had a marble foyer, an elevator to the 5th floor where hotel Cressy was located, and the nicest host, Sergeo (spelling?), who greeted us when we arrived at 10:30pm and was still very cheerful and gracious at that time of night. The room had an ensuite bath of marble and the room was simple but had a nice view out of a large window with shutters that you could open completely to the sunshine and fresh air. A very pleasant and safe experience.
Clean, comfortable rooms and good customer service. Very easy to feel at home in.
I arrived late because i had to catch a later train and immediately i felt like a visiting friend or relative rather than as a guest in a hostel. The room was clean and it was very quiet. I was only there for a night because i had to catch a plane the next day but i absolutely loved my stay here and would definitely stay again.
nothing, it was all wonderful
Straightforward. We had private bathrooms and felt very comfortable. Did not see shared bathrooms.
The staff (Sergio) was very friendly, the location is near the main train station and you can go everywhere by bus or train. The price is fair enough. Bed is ok.
The bathroom was very tiny even for italian standards and have that awful curtain that keep touching you during shower. There was only one towel. The neighborhood was not that nice but it is expected since you are in a big city.
The staff really did try to help, wifi was good, the place was clean, there were enough bathroom facilities for the number of beds.
Gets a little noisy at night and in the early morning, because of its convenient location. It's near a bus stop and also gets a bit of the night partying crowd. You'd have to expect a bit of noise, they're probably people catching a bus home after a night out. As an above-and-beyond, they could probably ask travellers if they snore, and if they do, force them to get a single room (and they do have those available). On one of my nights there was a guy who snored like a 747 - I put on ear plugs and he went straight through them - who knows how the other people coped.
It's close from termini. Shared shower room was clean and they have 2 shower rooms. So it was okay.
It is tidy, the staff is very friendly, the beds are comfortable and the internet free.
The location is excellent in terms of public transport but the area is not very clean.
It's close location to almost every part of the city. When I was there I had no need for public transportation, as every corner of the city were easily accessible. The small rooms, were a big surprise too. For that price I would have thought to be place in a crowdy dormitory, but now (We were only 3 in the room).
There's no safe for your luggages. The owner can rent you one, but don't expect to place everything in there (it is only for precious belongings). The building is very big, and if you are next to the street, please, change your room ASAP. In the middle of the night, it's like every and one buses and trash transporter race down the street. No need to say that it is near impossible to sleep at night.
I arrived at the train station late at night unexpectedly and was worried about walking to the hotel. But the hotel was so close that I was really relieved. The staff was always there and very helpful. I felt comfortable during my stay.
Wi-fi was weak in my room.
The staff were very helpful and polite. Most importantly, the hostel is clean.
It didn't provide breakfast and the wifi connection. Hot in the room.
Cleanliness Staff No air conditioner
Location, too close Termini Station and tourists places.
Bright and noise room; uncomfortable bed and without kitchen.
Friendly staff Convenient location Pay for what you get
location, clean staff
shower room wasn't clean enough
Very close to main train station. Clean bathrooms.
Rude staff upon arrival. Charged my credit card 2 days before arrival. Promised wi-fi didn't work in the room, only in the hall.
Really close to Termini. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Room was spotless and really quiet and peaceful at night. A big fan in the room so it was nice and cold also. 2 wash rooms with toilet and shower very clean and spacious. Wifi didn't work in the room however it worked fine in the lobby so it wasn't a problem. Would highly recommend.
My friend and I wanted a cheap hotel near Termini Station in Rome, and this hotel was perfect for us. The street it's on has a few cafés and stores and it's a convenient walk to metro stations and to some main sights if you're up for walking. We felt safe when we walked back after dark. The room and separate bathroom were pretty new and clean. There was an AC unit in our room, but it didn't really work. The wifi was okay. If you are looking for a cheap-ish place in a central location, this hotel is for you.
Great location, friendly staff and clean premises.
The bed in 5 bed dorm wasn't comfortable, no electricity plugs near beds.
it is really close to the Main station But actually it is pretty dangerous area. It just took 5 mins from the station and easy to find the hostel if you check google street view first. They also have the elevator so I didn't need to carry my huge bags to go up.
The receptionist who works during night can't speak English at all so he had to use translator. Wifi didn't work in the room. it works only in the common place.
