AC Brescia is a new hotel just off Via Cassala, the main road that leads to the train station and to the city centre. The Franciacorta countryside is a short drive away.
Score from 315 reviews Very good
Nice room, clean enough. Good breakfast.
The mattress wasn't very comfortable, and since the room was near the reception I heard a lot of noise especially in the morning.
- close to train station - bed quality was very good - all you can eat breakfast and they can prepare you very good coffee
- the hotel area at night seems dangerous, as it is close to train and bus station - the lobby area is a bit dusty - reception is helpful, but does not speak very good English
Convenient for railway station 100 metres away, 24 hour reception, very friendly helpful staff; clean, comfortable and quiet room in spite of busy location. Good generous breakfast.
It may be long walk for some people to old city centre, but we chose to be close to railway station particularly. Wifi (free) did not work for us but not crucial.
The hotel was a 2' walk from both the train and the main bus station. We were using Brescia as a lay over to Bergamo airport for one night so it was pretty much ok. Helpful staff, ok breakfast.
Quite a few shady characters at the neighbourhood. Not that anything happened but still.
We travelled with our car and we selected this hotel because they said that we can park the cark in a private parking space. Actually it's not true. The " parking space" = a small place in front of the hotel, only 2 cars can park on sidewalk. We paid 7 euro for that.
Location and price.
Noise coming from bus station.
Friendly staff, reasonable breakfast, great location.
Rooms were a bit tired. Bedding was dated and beds were too soft for our liking.
Near to the train station, gentle staff, big room, nice breakfast
Good value for money, not too big, good breakfast
Location was quite far from city centre
I liked the location and the staff, really helpful couldn't do enough. Flexible and adaptable. Maps were provided, and we had free WiFi. The hotel is close to everything and I really enjoyed staying there, it has everything that you need as it is a good location to Lake Garda, Verona and Milan. Plenty of take-away and restaurants and Brescia is not a place to explore.
There was no kettle in the room or tea facilities. The hotel needs more clocks and I think at least one English TV channel would be nice. The WiFi code needed to be inputted like every eight hours it was crazy!!! Please have this so we have one code for the duration.
Clean room, nearby Brescia station, friendly personnel.
