It was completely renovated in 2001 and, thanks to the elegant, minimalist style and its meeting room, the hotel is suited to both business and leisure clients.
The buffet breakfast includes: croissant, plum cake, biscuits, crackers, butter, different kinds of jam, rusks, fresh bread, pies, yoghurt, fruits in syrup, ham, cold meats, cheese, cereals, boiled eggs, chocolate, American coffee and espresso, fruit juice, milk, tea.
2 of the hotel’s rooms have a balcony, 8 rooms have a bath tub and 79 rooms have a shower, the superior room has a Jacuzzi tub.
Near to Palermo you can experience much of the great heritage of the Sicily, such as beautiful Monreale with the precious Mosaic Cathedral and the seventeenth century Cloister, and Solanto Castle and the little town of Santa Flavia (15 km from Palermo).
The hotel is situated in the centre of the city, 1.5 km from Palermo railway station.
Palermo Falcone Borsellino airport is 45 km away from the hotel.
The A19 motorway is 8km away from the hotel.

Su situación, centrica y bien comunicado. El sistema wi-fi es deplorable, no es posible conectarse con Internet en las habitaciones situadas`por encima del 2º piso, por lo que hay que bajarse el ordenador portatil hasta el lobby para conectarse con Internet .Además el servidor del hotel limita mucho el acceso a determinadas direcciones de Internet.En fin, un desastre! |

The air conditioning - once we were shown how it worked - was excellent. It was turned off late in the evening (centrally?) but the room was sufficiently insulated that it was not necessary to have it on at night - even at the beginning of a Sicilian August. The location is good being very central and close to Politeama where the airport bus stops (and leaves from outsite the Politeama Hotel). By the way, I would recommend the restaurant right next door on the left hand side as you face the hotel . I had the best carbonara and a wonder (medium) steak there. The best meal in Sicily. It was difficult to understand how the TV worked but pleased to see there was more than one English language channel - all news channels thoough. The chambermaids did not replace the toiletries or plastic cups that were used in the room though they did not hesitate to give them to us when requested. |

Es un hotel que si se esmerara un poco tendría una estrella más. El personal de restaurante bastante agradable. Las habitaciones son amplias. El personal de recepción nada amable, no informan y a veces ni saludan. Elegimos MP y todos los días había el mismo menú con 3 platos a elegir, no es nada práctico, estuve comiendo todos los días lo mismo. El bar del hotel no lo vi abierto en los 5 días que estuvimos. Internet caro, 3€/hora. |
