The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the hotel was in an excellent location! The bathroom was very clean. We asked for a non-smoking room, but our room was filled with smoke from a neighbouring room which had smokers in it. The air-coditioning didn't work very well and was noisy, keeping us up at night. The bed's were not very comfortable and the room was dark and quite small.

The location is arguably the best in Rome. On a quiet street near to all that's going on. Near Metro and taxis, and walking distance all around. Personnel very friendly and pleasant room very comfortable and clean. Liked the hotel all around.

If you're looking for somewhere to just sleep then this is the hotel for you (and let's face it why would you want to spend time in your hotel room when there's so much to see and do). The location of the hotel is perfect. Right beside the Spanish Steps and the metro. The room is basic but clean and the staff were very helpful. The hotel was noisey so I had trouble sleeping. When other guests were checking out early I could hear them locking their doors and dragging suitcases along the hallways. Breakfast was terrible. I did stay in another hotel afterwards and it was only €10 more expensive and the rooms were more luxurious and breakfast very good.

I was a sole traveller so the room size was good for me, although it was small. The cleanliness was alright, and everything was good. I liked the location of the hotel, very good one! very close to spanish stairs and to the fontana de Trevi. They could include breakfast in the room price, then price would be more valuable.

Location, a small pedestrian street in the heart of downtown at the Spanish steps. Lack of sound insulation doors and walls, the sounds of other people in the corridor in the next room, and the sound of water flushing in the room next door. These noises were not unbearable but awareness was not pleasant.

The hotel staff were very friendly and the location was great for all the major attractions: virtually across the street from the Spanish Steps; walking distance to the Trevi fountain, the Coliseum, the Pantheon, Palatine and Roman forum and right by a Metro station (next to the Spanish Steps). There was a Spar convenience store just a few blocks away which was also useful and, I hate to say it, a McDonald's (after paying Rome's exorbitant prices for food and drink it was nice to grab a cheap simple burger and coffee once in a while). The room was tiny, which I could have lived with, but the bed was tinier still - I'm guessing it was a child's bed together with what felt like a plastic covering on the mattress. And it was narrow - like sleeping on a plank; I almost fell out several times and I'm a small guy - 5' 6" - 5' 7". If you are any bigger you're gonna have problems. They charged for WiFi access, which in my opinion is a big no-no, especially when virtually every place in the city offers it free to their customers including bars and coffee shops.

Location was amazing! About 4 mins walk from Spanish Steps but down a quiet street so you are away from the madness of Spagna. The hotel is small and the facilities few but it's comfy and the staff are lovely and helpful so it's a nice place to stay. First and foremost is location you are paying for and you definitely get value for money there.

L'emplacement!
