City Mood is a family-run b&b with a vaguely retro feeling and style. It is just 55 yards from the metro in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, one stop from Roma Termini Train Station.

the apartment was small but had a nice porch
they charge TEN euros per day for internet. The breakfast is also not included. Other hotels in the region have better prices, and include breakfast and internet...Hotel Parlamento is a better option.
The location was amazing, totally perfect just next to the Spanish stairs. If you want to explore Rome and not stay so much at the hotel, this is the perfect spot for you and real value for money.
The breakfast was just coffee and an croissant with jam. The hotel is quite unfresh but we had a great time since we got a good price and the best location.
Charming and helpful staff, who were prompt to sort out problems. Wonderful location.
Supply of shampoo sporadic, and quality not very good. I should have welcomed better shampoo, plus conditioner. The air conditioning didn't work very well. Strangely stocked mini-bar; I wasn't expecting anything terribly self-indulgent, but why not choose a better beer, at least, and include a little bottle of white wine?
Only the location
- Old facilities - insufficient amenities (e.g. towels, soap) - internet was charged extra (10 euros per day!!) and was functioning poorly. - website was mentioning airport shuttle, which at the end was a taxi that you had to pay. Why advertise that anyway? - Room not sufficiently clean. I found cut nails on my bathroom floor and I have not cut my nails! I, in fact, took a picture. - Breakfast could have been better, namely something that someone may enjoy.
Location is amazing. But most bedrooms look into internal courtyard and could be dark.
There is no free wifi and they were going to charge 10 euros per device? Between our 2 phones and 2 laptops that meant an extra 40 euros a day?! Aircon was not working but we were told the hotel was full when it was not. Rceptionists were perfunctory ant not particularly friendly or helpful (except for one). Bathrooms are tiny to the point of being clostrophobic but clean, and good powerful showers with shampoo and shower gel provided
ugly room, not the most helping staff
The breakfast is not worth the price and not available early in the morning.
Best location, the stuff was super nice and helpful!
The breakfast includes only coffee and pastry but who needs more when you in rome?
Only the location an the staff
Everything else were poor
The best location ; very polite personal. Comfortable and clean room . Great place!
Excellent location in Rome, right in the main shopping district and busy Spanish steps.
The location of the hotel is just perfect - you are in the heart of Rome and really close to everything. The room is clean and not too old. The personnel is very helpful and nice. They fixed all the issues(shower, blankets) quickly and efficiently.
Its amazing that in 2014 you have to pay 10 eur a day for using a wifi. Its incredible that they have no internet at the reception - they could not even find the restaurant's address!
Excellent location, helpful staff - tea in room in morning.
Basic but good
Location is excellent, staff is very helpful and friendly, breakfast is good
Great staff, clean room.
No free wi-fi.
Location, location, location. also staff, cleanliness.
small bed, no comfort
I loved my clean, beautiful room! ! Great space, loved the balcony! !
Wish I lived there! !
The location is nice.
The room I stayed in was tiny. The shower was too small for me to be able to stretch my arms out in. The hotel is also extremely loud, because of the tile floors and thin walls. The internet, which costs an extra 10 euros per day, was the slowest I have seen since the mid- 1990'S. The room was hot and sticky despite the fact that the booking.com profile promised it would be air-conditioned. I spoke to the people at the front desk, and they were under the impression that some rooms were air conditioned and some weren't, and told me that I could switch rooms the next day. I said that that was fine, but that I hoped they would give me a small discount for my discomfort up to that point. The manager then came and spoke to me and said that they turned off the air conditioning on October 1st, and that I somehow should have known not to expect air conditioning in mid-October. He also said that because I had gotten a price below the maximum rate for the room, I shouldn't complain about his failure to meet his advertised service level. He did provide a fan, which helped a bit, but didn't really solve the problem of the heat and humidity. Eventually, after booking.com contacted him, he did offer me a small discount on the room rate as well.
the staff they were great
The location. central and convenient.
Room was little more than a cubicle. Small bed. Central light with 3 lamps, one working. Very dark inside, windows looking onto a barred little terrace. In a word: no value for the money. The staff was kind enough and apologized; looks like it was the last room left. However,it is incredible they think they can sell such a thing. Never back here.
Great central location. Staff lovely and helpful.
Room had no shower but had a nice bath. The bed was comfortable but very noisy when one moved in the bed.
the room was too small and the furnitures were so simple.
I loved the friendly staff and the fab location of the Hotel. I will definitely recommend it to my friends and will stay there again when I visit Roma!
