Hotel Crocini  

The hotel is only a short 10 minutes to the Firenza SMN station so it's really convenient - provided you know your way and do not make unneccesary detours. It's really easy once you have oriented yourself. The area is nice and quiet so it guarantees you of a good night sleep. It's also very safe as I believe it's located near some government building so there are several security personnel in the vicinity.

The downside is that it's about 20 to 25 minutes walk to the town centre where the key attractions and shopping area are.

The beds were so comfortable and the room was quite spacious. The breakfast was also bigger than I expected (more variety). The hotel staff was very helpful answering questions and calling a taxi for us. The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the Ponte Vecchio bridge but seemed to be in a safe part of town. Very close to the train station and bus station. I would stay there again.

The only down side was there weren't a lot of electrical outlets but it wasn't a big deal.

Yes, I liked it, people very nice, hotel paceful, decoration armonious and classic, I recommended if anyone goes to romantic travel... I'll come back there.

Maybe, I like cheaper

Hotel Crocini is a nice little City-Hotel in walking distance to the Center of Firenze. It's easy to access by car and there's also a little car-parking inside the hotel building. you hate to pay extra, but makes you feel comfortable leaving stuff in the car.

Nice location with a 10 min. walk from the center, good price, very friendly 24h desk reception. Private parking space for 15 euros.

The room had no room service, so the only option for cooling was opening the window to a rather noisy street. The sink made gargling noises when the one in the adjacent room was being used. Bathroom was sub-par, 2 square meters for a shower and toilet. Breakfast was all pre-fab food and espresso was not-included in the price.

The hotel has very friendly staff. The rooms are quite old, but clean and tidy. We stayed in a superior double room, room large and spacious enough to stay with a baby. When we arrived at the hotel room was prepared and brought to Baby cot. Impression of the hotel is good.

This hotel is close to the train station (10 minutes walking aprox). The recepcionists were really polite. This is like a big palace, with high roofs, and a little bit run-down, but with special charm. The room was a little bit old, with old furniture, although everything was very clean. The breakfast was good and with enough food.

The share toilet was too old. It was not possible to open the window into the room, and there was only one air vent (no air-conditioning). So, I can not imagine on Summer...

that the AC was doing some noise for almost 15 min in room 9 the noisy street in room 11 and the lock of the room door is old and gets stuck sometimes

We were pleasantly surprised by the fantastic and extremely spacious room with high ceilings, big bathroom, a huge window, the old decor inside, the huge breakfast room and an immensely friendly staff! Could not have asked for more. It is a 25 min walk from smn but pretty easy to locate. The neighbourhood is extremely quite and wonderful for a good night's sleep. Breakfast had plenty of options. Hotel staff were extremely friendly,spoke english pretty well. I would stay here again.

The two pedestal fans given to beat the weather did not have any breeze coming out of them. They could be of better quality and would definitely help to improve the experience.
