Great old building and location. Staff excellent and Lorenzo had great tips for restaurants and Florence. Family run and very comfortable. A really nice place to stay in Florence and absolutely great price at this time of the year!! Not a did like but the brekky was a little so so but in these economic times. Plus there a c. Heaps of food and variety though.ouple of great cafes around the corner if the usual bread and stuff is not your thing. |

it was homey with warm hospitality, sense of safety inside and out nd always a sense of the hotel person to helpful and cold speak English. Walls nd floors were paper thin and there were no "extras" and very plain breakfast. |

The hotel staff were very wlelcoming and extremely helpful. The hotel had a lovely atmosphere. The breakfast room was beautiful. It also had computers for internet access. Onsite parking a huge bonus. Nice and easy walk along river to tourist sites. We staying in many hotels throughout our stay in Italy which were 2 to 4 star and this one was not only the cheapest we stayed in but one of the best. |

I liked the following points about the hotel :- friendly and helpful staff, Clean room / en Suite and Restaurant area, location which was within 15 minutes walk of the station and 15minutes or less to the River and other sights of Florence. The only small thing for me and my partner was the bed which was extremely hard. |

While the furnishings are a bit dated the location, staff and breakfast where a good value. One of our fellow companions sustaine d a leg injury and staff accomodated with necessary large bag of ice immediately. |

The hotel was in an excellent part of Florence - in the quiet consulate area near to the river- but all the sights were still easily accessible. Lorenzo made us feel so welcome and was extremely friendly, knowledgeable about the area and helpful when recommending a super restaurant. The room was very clean and comfortable; although twin beds pushed together, and the bathroom was clean. Our room overlooked the quaint garden area. There was nothing I could fault about the hotel and would definitely recommend it and stay there again. |

Very good tourist class hotel. Extremely helpful, friendly and great stuff (exсept waitress in restaurant) ! Very good location - close to historical center, train/bus station, supermarket (10-15 min walk). Our room was extremely small and colors of room were a little bit sombre. Breakfast was good, but as we have spent 5 days in Crocini, we wished more diverse menu. But in general it is a very good place for tourists to stay! Thanks a lot! |

I liked everything. I would stay at this Hotel again. It was clean and neat. They gave good service and the breakfast that came with the room was outstanding. It was the best value I found in Florence. |

Staff were extremely helpful and great in advice on day trips, where to rent bicycles, etc. We had the quad room with bathroom and the room itself and bathroom were both huge, lots of room for 4 people. Room was cleaned everyday and we got fresh fluffy towels everyday (which is rare in Europe!). Pretty close to the train/bus station, which was nice for travelling. It was about 15-20 minute walk from downtown but totally do-able and it's nice to take a walk after these big Italian dinners, we walked most nights along the river and it was very safe. They even have a small fridge downstairs you can use to store drinks or they sell cold/room temperature drinks (water, beer, soda, wine) at reasonable rates (1.5L water for 1.50euro). Not a whole lot of cafes or grocery stores in the area but that was okay with us, we just walked into the center of town to get whatever we needed. |

Very ,very nice and helpful stuff! The room was good and clean.Very good neighbourhood. The breakfast was good too.The room was quiet.Would reccomend this family run hotel- it is perfect if you are on a city tour. The furniture was really old and the price was high for this room.So have in mind that this is something like hostel. No fridge in the room.A bit far away from the center. |

nice sized bedroom except bath was to narrow. Hotel has a lift so you don't have to take the stairs. Breakfast was the norm for europe. Location is in the Embassey district so the area around it is safe. if you have luggage take the #1 bus, it is a much closer stop than the suggested bus, it might take a little longer to get there, but a much shorter walk (50 Meters compared to 3 blocks). Bathroom was 3x12, if you have long legs you can't set down on the toilet without hitting the wall. Windows opened, but no screens so you get the bugs. |

It was very clean, near to the city center (15 min walking -nice route- parallel to the river). The staff was extremely pleasant, helpful and even though some might say that the rooms were old furnished and dull, we liked the rooms being that way! You're in Florence and the mood should be a bit medieval! In general we were very satisfied by the hotel. Recommended! There should be an air condition and a mini bar. |

Cool interior. The hotel is close to American Consulate so it's probably the safest street in Florence:) Friendly and helpful English speaking staff. Good breakfast The hotel could use a refurb in a close future but hopefully without loosing that cool design |

A pleasant hotel though the furnishings were a little worn, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is ideally located for a reasonably priced tripinto historic Florence, only 20 minutes walk from the Ufizzi Gallery. |

Our room was big, had a fan, and a tv. We were given fresh towels as well as some champoo and soap. The breakfast was really good. The staff was very friendly, they gave us some advice and a map to discover the city. The bathroom was really small, specially the shower although everything was really clean when we arrived. |

The staff was friendly, helped us with tourist information and they kept our baggage in the reception during the day of departure. The bathroom was very small, the shower was almost over the toilet. The bathroom was far from the room, what made it very uncomfortable because you had to dress up in the bathroom that was wet. |
