Friendly, helpful staff. Quiet, pleasant location.Cheap for Florence.

Overly frugal breakfast. Shower very cramped.

Staff were all great. Parking in the back yard is ideal if you have a car. Short walk to all of the sites. Quiet and peaceful in the courtyard and garden.

It was a really nice hotel, confortable bed, big nice bathroom, great breakfast (I wish I could have one more day of that) and the staff was really attencious, speak portuguese and by giving the maps and tips of beautiful florence. Really friendly also. Great stay!

The location is a little further from the usual circuit, but that is not a problem for those who like walking, as I do.

easy to get to the hotel by tram just 1 stop and some walks. Eventhough we spent lots of time when we arrive looking for the direction to this hotel. the best way to get is take the tram on the right side of the train station. Breakfast is great you can eat whatever you want it is include the price of the room. To walk to the town and attractions you may use like 20-30 mins. It's not near but you just walk along the river you find it's a great view to walk.

we got the room at ground floor. there're lots of noices came from outside. The toilet isnt clean there are no shelf to put your bath stuffs. Shared bathroom is quite uncomfortable.

Location Staff helpfulness and attitude

Very quiet location close to the train station and easy walking distance to city centre. All the staff we met were lovely and very helpful.

Old fashioned plumbing system was a little bit loud at night if you are a light sleeper.

The hotels location was easy to find with a map provide by the owner via email. Room was large with small bathroom but had plenty of hotwater. The Free wifi only worked for about 10 mins. The staff were very good and extremely helpful.

Wifi was short and sweet.

Excellent breakfast buffet. 15 min. walk to historical center. Budget friendly. Staff very helpful.

When you cross the gate to the Hotel, it is like going from a busy street to a Countryside escape. The hotel has a rustic feel, and you think you are at your long lost Italian's Aunt's home. The best breakfast ever, and even a place to park the car, which is very difficult to find.

Shower head was not very strong

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the accommodations - spacious and clean. The hotel was near the Arno river so lots of nice views when we went out walking, and it was close to many things so we walked all through town with no problem.

The staff was excellent. Great location and excellent parking facilities. The place was nice, especially if you like character over a generic hotel experience.

The staff understand what travellers needs are and provide excellent professional service. The breakfast is included which makes this hotel very good value for money. The street location is very quite, close to the river and theatre, in a very safe and pretty area.

Can't find fault with what this hotel offers at a very reasonable price.

Staff and breakfast

Mr Peroni was amazing. Extremely knowledgable on the city, sites, and transport -- and very friendly! He was absolutely the best thing about this hotel. Room was clean.

The night staff was not as friendly at all -- when we checked (evening), there was a group of men hanging out in the small lobby w/ the clerk. While it could've been nothing at all, the vibe we got was less than comfortable. Our clerk was somewhat cold, and we had initially thought maybe it was b/c he did not speak English well; this was not the case however, as he was very fluent. If Sgnr Peroni had checked us in initially, my overall impression of the facility may have been immensely different I think. Our room was small. And unfortunately, it was very loud both outside our window and there were plumbing noises coming from our bathroom. The noise compiled w/ our uneasy feeling we got from the reception crew had us so on edge that we did not get any sleep. We adjusted our reservations after the single night.

Interesting hotel design - a lot of antique things. Great balcony, nice garden. Parking is private. Good breakfast.

It takes time to become water hot, at first moment only cold water in the bathroom.

Location was good and the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was ok given that it was italy.

I would rather all hotels on the booking website declare the cost of on site parking rather than the vague parking fee reuired . Its a monor quip that is directed al all hotels not just hotel Crocini

Great location - the hotel is close to the central station and to all interesting places in the city. The hotel has beautiful garden. The staff was really helpfull.

Very good location and room for low price. A good and comfortable room in a picturesque old building in Florence. You could walk to the city historical center for less then 20 minutes going by the riverside. Good breakfast. A great advantage for portuguese and brazilian travellers: the owners, a brazilian woman and an italian man, are extremily helpful and friendly and they both speak portuguese.

The hotel building is very well recovered and pleasent but with little attention to some details as having an old and shabby blanket in the room. A minor detail...

the warm welcome by the hotel manager and the helpfullnes of the staff, the calm of the rooms located towards an inner court, the location of the hotel not far from the train station and Florence within walking distance...I think it will be difficult to find such a quiet hotel so close to the city, and for such a price. It was the best value for money during our trip to Italy (although the other hotels were not bad either). Cars can be conviently parked in the inner court court.

The breakfast is a bit frugal, but considering the price we paid, we can't really complain...

We loved the old and classical italian interior of the room. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was rich and variable(fresh fruits and stuffs like that). Our stay there was perfect without any reclamations If we have the chance we would go back there again, no doubt.

The Hotel Crocini was an easy walk to the city centre and the train station. The rooms are basic but our room, No. 23, had a huge balcony overlooking the garden which was lovely. Very close to the river. For the price we paid it was great value.

The stay was very near to firenze station, just one stop from tram. Specially the staff (Gabreillo) was helpful providing map and giving idea about travelling. The last day we met Lorenzo, he is very friendly and nice. The hotel location is very good with good restaurant near by, also if you wish to take cab it cost only 9 euro from firenze station. Overall it was good

Within walking distance from the train station. Easy to find. Nice staff, able to answer all our questions. Free Internet access, two computers for the customers. Great old building. Great breakfast buffé. 15 min walk along the river Arno to the Ponte Vecchio.

The hotel was an old building kept as it was.
