The beauty of the location and the friendly family feel

The narrow windy roads to get to town

This was a wonderful, genuinely-family-run hotel in a stunning part of Lake Como. Our room had large windows which looked straight out onto an absolutely stunning panorama of the lake, and all our meals (which were very good) had the same beautiful view. The family who ran the hotel were extremely helpful, for example recommending walks in the surrounding areas that we could do. We would recommend this to anyone.

The hotel was on the water and had water skiing facilities.

The rooms were small. The staff, since it was family business were more into their family than accomodating the travellers. I had to ask about breakfast, check out times, etc since they did not volunteer the information. The breakfast was just ok too, just cold cuts and cereals. The location was ok, it was about a 20 min drive to Bellagio but otherwise there were nothing to do in the immediate area.

It is in a lovely setting on Lake Como. The room was pleasantly furnished with a great view over looking the lake. Dinner was excellent as was breakfast. The staff were friendly and very helpful

This was a great find! We recommend it highly - functional rooms, extremely clean, nice staff, good food, awesome location, the works. And the price was the best we found up and down Lake Como's coastline.

One thing to note is that booking.com might take AMEX, but Crotto Del Misto doesn't. If you book using your AMEX, you'd better bring another one with you.

People and Food were Awesome!

The family-run hotel had good facilities with lots of activities for our children to do. The pool was nice, as well as the lake, tennis and table tennis. It was a very nice place for families. There was adequate parking available. The food for breakfast as well as dinner was very good.

Decent sized room with a great view of Lake Como. The Hotel's restaurant served good food and opened up to the Lake providing a memorable dining experience. Great location....about 5km from Bellagio. Pool was clean and refreshing with plenty of chairs to relax and enjoy the view. Great value considering the location and amenities.

This hotel has a breathtaking view right from your window! Once downstaires and on the terrace or dining the resturant the veiw just gets better and better. The staff was very inviting from the very moment we arrived and the great customer service continued throughout our stay. I would definately recommend this hotel and would stay here again myelf!

The road around lake como in general was a bit of a nightmare on a busy weekend.

We absolutely loved Crotto del Misto. The hotel staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We were here for part of our honeymoon and it was so relaxing. It is very close to Bellagio and Como if you don't mind taking a 15 minute bus ride or so if you didn't rent a car. It really is in a very small town though if you are looking for more action which we were not. Our view from our room was breathtaking. There was a lovely pool and a small pebble beach that we could relax on and jump in the lake. The food and wine was really great as well. I would definitely recommend staying there for anyone looking for a beautiful relaxing place to stay!

The staff were fantastic and made us feel very happy and comfortable. The facilities were great with amazing views from the poolside area and restaurant. The food served in the restaurant was of a very high quality. I was taught me how to wakeboard on the lake. The location of the hotel was in a very quaint, picturesque area that was not too close to any real busy, crowded tourist thriving places. This gave us a taste of true life on the lake. The value of the stay was extremely reasonable and I will be returning indefinitely in the future.

The only down side to an incredible place was that public transport around the area was not very frequent and terminated too early for our liking; however with a little planning this problem is easily overcome.

The location was perfect, staff very friendly and the food beautiful. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends, work colleagues and family.

- La route un peu étroite pour se rendre de Côme à l'hôtel nécessitant une vigilance particulière lors de la traversée des villages où il faut bien tenir sa droite.

Excellentissime accueil du patron avec serviabilité, visite de l'etonnante cave à vins. Excellente cuisine, chambres correctes, bord du lac en contre bas de la route pas de luxe mais on s'y sent bien

Pas de luxe mais on s'y sent bien. Un peu de bruit pour les chambres côté route et attention beaucoup de marches à monter (ou descendre...)

la route d'accés est réservée à des chauffeurs confirmés mais l'hôtel n'y est pour rien !

Le site est beau. Parking gratuit.

Les propriétaires sont limite aimables, le petit déjeuner est "surgelé", les chambres ne donnent pas toutes sur le Lac, la nôtre donnait sur la route. Je ne conseille pas cet hôtel.

Situation magnifique. Charme de l'hôtel (surtout en été où l'on peut profiter de la piscine et du ski nautique). Excellente restauration.

Chambre spartiates et défraichies. Literie médiocre.
