We booked this hotel on our way out of Rome for just the one night. It provided a shuttle to the airport for a reasonable fee. We were also upgraded to a suite upon our arrival. The setting was quiet and serene for our purpose, and the dining room meal was excellent. Staff were very accommodating, and they provided computers with free wi-fi. We never had to leave the hotel. The location is not close enough to anything for walks to see sights. Perfect for a quiet getaway, however, and that is what we were looking for on this day. The shuttle service was not quite as good as it should have been. Paid on the hotel bill directly - a good thing - there were 6 guests on the shuttle that morning. Driver let us out at terminal 3, when all of us needed to be at Terminal 5...a long walk and additional shuttle from where we were left. Several of the passengers vented the frustration of the shuttle fee, plus baggage tip, and yet had to walk and take an additional shuttle to where he could have probably taken us.

We had a nice spacious room overlooking the pool and gardens. The buffet breakfast was good. The hotel had a shuttle bus from the hotel to the Vatican and City Centre and we found this very convenient.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. While the hotel is not near the city centre, we knew this when we booked so the location wasn't a problem for us. When we left towels on the bathroom floor for replacement the old towels were left there but new towels were provided. The shuttle bus was often full with people waiting in line for 20 minutes to ensure a seat on the bus.

The room service was always on time and cleaned the room quickly. In the bathroom the bidet could have been a bit cleaner and no hairs left on the floor. The bus schedule into downtown only ran in the afternoon and the bus stop in downtown wasn't too convenient when on sightseeing tour. So we always had to take a taxi back (extra expense). It would be better to also offer a bus service to downtown in the mornings and to the Vatican also in the afternoons to have more flexibility as a family with kids.

Very comfortable, good size rooms, generous room amenities, good soundproofing between rooms, so sleep was good. All was geared towards relaxing atmosphere. Fantastic pools - important for me, especially when traveling. Beautiful view from room and grounds were beautifully maintained. We have 3 different staff complaints - One re: the 'attitudes' of about 50% of female staff at both reception and health spa - as if they were doing us a favor by answering questions and making recommendations - not professionally solicitious. Other staff were fine. 2Nd -We arranged to have our laundry picked up, and they simply 'forgot' and made no apology about it, or any offer to compensate. Not fun wearing dirty clothes. 3Rd -We had reserved rooms with the 'wellness package' and were not offered or told about the benefits of the package or given the vouchers upon checkin (...the female staff w/attitude)- we happened to remember once there a day later, and had to ask for all, after seeing it clearly on our reservation. Other complaint -we don't mind being outside the center of the city, but scheduling our precious vacation days around rush hour traffic was dictating our plans, due to the heavy traffic on the one- lane road of the hotel. Have to leave the hotel before 7AM/after 10am and had to plan not to travel to or from center of town between 4 and 7pm. Taxis were quite expensive and shuttles to center of city were not frequent or early enough. Although very relaxing and lovely rooms and ameneties, we'd re-think our stay next time.

The location in a calm area although wasn't close to the city center but the free all day bus shuttles make it up. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was big and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful. Great value for money. The air conditioner was weak, I got warm.

The location is not close to city center but easily reached by subway + bus. It takes max 45-50 minutes to city center and back by such public transport. The room are little old but the beds are very comfortable. The size of the room is good. Breakfast is very nice. Family package includes free kids menu in the restaurant for dinner, so we took it everyday. As the result, we are all happy with our choice. Just little far from city center but you may pay triple for such a hotel if it is located in city center.

Closest good hotel to the city centre with a swimming pool. Fab combination therefore, of culture and family relax time. Whole family loved everything about the hotel - esp. The fab breakfast buffet, large and clean pool and the courtesy bus into the city centre.

Nice and comfortable hotel, friendly staff. The reception staff should have presented the hotel and all what you could do in the hotel area and surroundings. Naturally you can read the broschure but it would be better service if you can get a representation when you arrive at the hotel.

A very comfortable room overlooking the pool and garden.. Staff very friendly and attentive in both the breakfast and evening restaurants and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we had the pleasure of dining in. during our stay in Italy. Although a shuttle bus was provided by the Hotel, it proved a little too far out of Rome and therefore was not really convenient for sightseeing.
