Rooms were comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, convenient location to public transportation to get to other parts of the City and since we were cruising, it was a pick-up point for our cruise shuttle.
The second morning we were there, there was a flood in the area where the workout equipment was located so we could not use the gym area.
Staff was excellent and accommodating; did I mention the staff was superb.
Mold in tub; worn furniture; industrial menu; sad facilities; location was even more isolated than advertised
No likes don't think I would go back to that hotel again to stay.
Stayed here for 2 nights on November 14th and was really impressed with the polite and friendly staff. The hotel facilities were great including the shuttle bus, pool, bar and restaurant. The room was lovely too and we were fortunate to receive a free upgrade for my Husbands 30th Birthday. Thanks for a lovely break!
The location of the hotel is a little far from the attractions however the shuttle bus was really good for 1.5 Euros each. A taxi cost approx 10-15 Euros each way to the attractions.
Staff, ambience, grounds, decor, breakfast, beds.
Plastic cups and cutlery in the room. Tepid water in the shower.
Easy access by city bus to St. Peter's Bascilica Breakfast was lovely, The spa is lovely, great massages and workout room
Toilet seat was broken, and the bathtub had black mold in the corners. The bar is open and directly across from the receptionist with an incredibly loud piano player, sos much so that one could not hear oneself speak to the receptionist, even she was complaining about it. The concierge was not particularly helpful with bus or metro system to see sights in Rome ..we wandered around too much
We had a very pleasant hotel stay at your facility. Comfortable room, lovely grounds, good service and nice atmosphere. Gerry, Aurora, Co. US .......
Good hotel.Staff very friendly.Food good value restaurant staff attentive.would stay again.
After an 11 hour flight, the hotel was a beautiful, quiet retreat from the crowd and noise. The common areas are world-class including a gorgeous canopied restaurant and bar and a stunning neo-design library (perfect for catching up with laptop). The room was an elegant, understated space, nicely appointed with a spacious deck overlooking a vast, breathtaking space of pool, lawns and that wonderful palm and pine vegetation. Room service was courteous and fast; staff were friendly and highly competent. We were thrilled with our stay. The CP St Peter's is definitely excellent value for a stay in Rome and truly, an oasis of calm relaxation in the middle of one of the world's great (but noisy) cities. Thank you!
Fantastic stay, I got the rome pass package and it was fab! Breakfast was amazing, access to the spa was brilliant! Every time we had a drink in the bar we were offered snacks, and even got to try some deserts for free and a cup of tea for me and my mum in the restaurant! Staff were very good, room was big and I was happy with having 2 double beds and the balcony was lovely! Couldn't have asked for a better stay and if I ever get the chance to go to rome again I would definitely stay here! Easy to use bus system meant it was only 20 mins into the centre! Then everything is in walking distance pretty much!
Shuttle bus and driver excellent for getting into centre and Vatican city drop off, 3 euros return per person, all staff in reception, bar and breakfast restaurant were always very welcoming. Piano player in bar was very pleasant too. We also used the airport shuttle bus straight to the terminal at 14 euros each also excellent. Thankyou. a
Main light had to be turned on for a visit to bathroom during night. we were very lucky with the hot weather but the outside pool was too cold to use, would have been such a bonus for us from U.K.
Staff were helpful, polite. Breakfast was good nice selection. Restaurant was nice as well. Shuttle to the Vatican was convenient .. Would stay again
Cockroach in the room. Hotel rooms need renovating. A bit far from the city centre
restaurants large, wonderful beds helpful staff good atmosphere
good staff, but understaffed, so had to wait in line a long time. no place to walk around the hotel: surrounded by city and busy streets with no sidewalks.
Great rooms, nice pool area and really nice, helpful staff!!!!!
Breakfast could be a lot better.....by far the worst orange juice I had....
Very well layed out. Very helpful staff.
Facilities & staff
We were on a quiet floor but cleaners made a lot of noise early in rooms around us, banging doors etc. Avoidable annoyance. Hotel website states an airport bus is available but no info on where to get this bus from the airport to hotel.
The quality of the rooms was high, breakfast was well cooked offering a wide choice for all nationalities. From housekeeping to front office, restaurant to pool, the staff were all friendly, helpful beyond the call of duty and hardworking to ensure your stay was pleasant, noticeably led from the front by actively present management. Restaurant and bar were very relaxing. Gym adequate (open from 5am) complete with a studio and health facilities.
The astronomical gold-plated wealth on display in the Vatican rubbing shoulders with the women with babies begging in the gutters! However, there was nothing wrong with the hotel, you have to visit Rome to grasp the immense historical importance of this place and the Crown Plaza is a very good base from which to operate. Oh, be warned, the overpriced food in the Vatican cafeteria is the worst you will ever taste.
Spa and swimming pool Outdoor areas are great Bar staff excellent and the piano player exceptional.
Restaurant service could be slow and lacked atmosphere
Big rooms with balcony
Antonio in the restaurant - outstanding Eduardo in the pool - also top notch A good location if you want to chill out at a nice pool with bar No complaints about any staff Hotel shuttle is a reasonable way to get around or the bus stop is right outside the hotel. An issue with our bill was corrected quickly and without any hassle
Limited selection of food in the restaurant - only marguarita pizza and the lasagne was cold on the two occasions it was ordered Taxi prices are erratic - but this isn't the hotel's fault Scrambled eggs were runny on most days and the food did not stay hot at breakfast - probably because the covers are never closed.
great staff wonderful pool good food easy to get into centre of rome had a great time
staff and reception
Public transportations are right outside the hotel. The pool is a big plus for the children.
Everything is old, it has run down feeling to it, as many things such as the sink, toilet, shower are somewhat dated and sometimes malfunction.
The staff The facilities
Not enough milk, tea coffee in the rooms. Although this pales in significant to the lovely experience we had at the hotel.
location for site seeing
ac not cold enough
