Hotel d'Azeglio Firenze  

Keep away from this hotel. First, entrance is not like a hotel entrance. In the basement and first floor there was probably an other hotel which is not functional now. This awful Hotel d'Azeglio Firenze is in the second floor. Second, if you plan to arrive in the night time be prepared to not to see any lighting of hotel, they do not turn on the outer light of the hotel sign.Third, the guy in the reception does not know any English even he could not direct you to the parking place. Forth, breakfast was so limited and pocket style. Fifth, heating was not enough that we got cold. Sixth, hot water in the open shower was not with pressure and strong.

In a great location out of the touristy areas in a fairly quiet street. Within easy walking distance of all the main attractions. I would definitely stay there again.

Reception lady very friendly and helpful.

No air con we were told because 'no longer summer' on a day when it was 28 degrees, very noisy from street, very low flow of water in bathroom, shower in bad maintenance, shower enclosure broken, noise from builders early morning, room overlooked by builders scaffolding.

very nice staff, breakfast inclueded, very good location - 10 minutes from the historical centre, garage for the car is close to hotel - 5minutes and it offers a discount for the hotel d´Azeglio visitors (24 hours for 15EUR)

The hotel facilities in the room are good. It is good family apartment to live in.

The breakfast menu is very poor. The breakfast was not continental grade. There was no sliced bread, no beans, very little variety of fruits and vegetables to eat. Even simple things like Beans with tomato sauce,baked potatoes, hash brown patato patties were not there. Please imporve the breakfast menu. Must include all items mentioned above.

Good location, big rooms. Hotel is 10 mins walk from duomo.

Breakfast is basic. Reception closes at 10pm but you get a key to enter alone after that time. Building and furniture inside is not modern, but does what it needs. This hotel is great for city visits, but not for romantic/lux holidays etc

The hotel has a great location in the heart of the historical Florence and the staff was indeed very friendly, the atmosphere has been special and intimate not like in a common hotel.

The lady at the reception desk was very very nice, the room was clean and large. Very good location.

The lady on the front desk is very friendly and try to help us in every issue.we take our rooms before the check in time it was very good to have shower before starting to conquer firenze.

Breakfast was not good you have to request butter and chese every morning they want people to request these every morning instead of putting outside and the staff is becoming angry when you want them we dont understand why.The location of the hotel is not too far away from city center but the train station is in the opposite side so we have to take taxi most of times.

The hotel was clean and breakfast was good.

However, none of the reviews mentioned the hotel is on a 3 flight landing with no elevator. There is no one to help you up the stairs, so make sure you pack light or have strong arms! Otherwise it was a great place to stay!

Staff is quite nice,value for money

Abbiamo soggiornato un paio di notti e siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. La camera è essenziale, ma spaziosa e pulita. Bagno e doccia in camera ok. L'accoglienza e le informazioni sono ottime. L'hotel è raggiungibile in macchina che si può lasciare nel vicino parcheggio a pagamento. E' comunque vicinissimo al centro perchè al limite della zona ztl, perciò si possono raggiungere a piedi I luoghi di maggior interesse. Il quartiere offre la possibilità di cenare in ottime trattorie senza spostarsi troppo dall'albergo. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Più che un appunto un consiglio: la colazione è sufficiente, ma basterebbe mettere un tostapane per renderla già più gradevole.
