“The staff was wonderful. The room was adequate and clean. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Reasonably quiet for being in a down town location just outside of Venice. It was an easy drive to the hotel and it had off street parking.”

The staff was wonderful. The room was adequate and clean. Plenty of hot water in the bathroom. Reasonably quiet for being in a down town location just outside of Venice. It was an easy drive to the hotel and it had off street parking. The bus stop was very close and a short bus ride into the main station to start a walk or boat ride into and out of Venice. Nice breakfast and a very appreciated gift as we departed after a single night's stay. Would stay there again if for no other reason than the friendly staff.

The staff at reception was really friendly. And although the hotel is located in Mestre and not in Venice itself, this is actually a benefit, since you don't have that extremely busy and noisy environment and can get a good night's sleep. Afterall, it's a quick ten minute journey by train to get to Venice and back. Although the room did have a television, it was not set up at all and we couldn't get it to work. And the breakfast was too basic. Only a croissant and preserves.

Easy and cheap access to Venice, Near to Mestre Train Station. Near to Bus station, Near to Tram station. Internet free. Polite and kind staff. Cheap price. Breakfast included. Paying on check-out. Small, Quite and comfort. No elevator. No internet inside the rooms. Some repair of facilities needed.

Really nice, good location if you travel by car (there's a car park next to the hotel). For the price we paid, considering the hotel prices in Italy, this was really good place to stay. There wasn't Wifi signal in our room, so we had to come downstairs to use it. Breakfast could be better, but as I said, for the price we paid, this was more than we expected.

The Hotel was described as 3 star, this is debatable as the third star up on the wall behind reception was hand made from a piece of gold card! The staff where friendly enough, but that is where the pleasant experience ended. The room as generally clean. Apart from a strong smell of mould, and despite being a non-smoking room and hotel, the room reeked of stale smoke. The housing of the light fitting in the ceiling was broken, leaving the curved florescent tube dangling by the power cable. The breakfast was poor, funny tasting role, a croissant and espresso. The waiter come receptionist was coughing and snorting as he made the coffees which was very unhygienic. This was definately not 3 star, and would not recommend staying here. It is surprising what a high rating it has.

I liked two things: - Location very close to the train station from where it comes very easily in Venice; - Staff very friendly and helpful, even if English is not their strong point, were very helpful I have not liked these: - The walls are very, very thin, very very hard hear any sounds from other tourists staying in hotel, if you want to rest, do not choose this hotel! - On the floor is linoleum room, and because this room is a strong smell of mold, extremely unpleasant - Supplies (shampoo, shower gel, soap) are very rudimentary, probably the cheapest on the market

The location is good if you are trawelling by car - you can leave your car at the hotel parking (included in the room price) and go to see Venice by direct bus (the stop is directly in front of the hotel, distance to the city centre is relatively short). The price is completely fair for the location and equipment of the hotel. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Design of the room could be better but considering the price it was fair and the room was clean.

Although the staff was very nice, the hotel was sparse. Location was good. It needed a big update. There were no glasses in the room. The light bulb was out in bath and no one knew how to fix the non working television. A light bulb could not be found. The bedspreads were very stained. The rolls were pretty dry and tired. Juice was offered but that was it. No fruit. I would not highly rate this hotel. Even though we paid on a credit card through Booking.com they still wanted our card and their machine did not work so they wrote all the information down. Better not have a problem with that!!

The man at reception was very helpful and had good english. The hotel was near public transport so it was easy to get into Venice. The parking area at rear of hotel was very small and cars were having trouble getting out of it. The woman doing breakfast did not want to be there, she was really grumpy. Bring your own teabags as they only had camomille tea if you wanted normal tea.

The lady who owns the hotel was exceedingly warm and friendly and give me a very detailed overview of venice with lots of tips on where to go and how to get there....and also regarding buses, costs, etc. She was great. Breakfast in the morning - when I came for breakfast, there was only one member of staff on and he was busy trying to service other residents, take payments from staff leaving and other people checking if there was availability at the hotel. Because there was only a few tables and the all were taken or had just been used this meant that the table I was to sit at needed prepared but because he was dealing with all of this I had to wait for about 20 minutes and this was the only disappointing thing about my stay. I think this was just a culmination of factors at the same time and wouldn't normally be like this but because there was only one member of staff on at this time it meant his hands were full - a 2nd member of staff at this point would have been most helpful.

The Hotel is just next to the bus and tram station which go directly to Venice. But you have to buy tickets from a store nearby. Buying tickets in bus is not possible. And there is an awesome Kevab place nearby, also. The best Kevab ever. Some of the hotel staff could hardly speak any English, but hand-signs were enough for the check-in. Another issue is that they require that you leave your car keys behind when you leave the hotel due to limited parking space.

The best thing about this hotel is it's position , close enough to the train station and also to the bus station to and from Venice and Marco Polo Airport . The reception staff was very nice and kind . I think that three stars are far too much for this hotel .Breakfast was quite poor and I should also say that I booked this particular hotel and not one of the other three or four existing in a range of 100 or 200 meters distance from the Railway Station only because I could choose a smoking room . When we arrived there we found out , to our disapointment , it was a non smoking hotel too. I thing they should have said this on the web page .
