Hotel Montepiana is situated 655 ft from Venice Mestre Train Station, with services to Venice. It offers free parking, and spacious rooms with free Wi-Fi.
Score from 727 reviews Very good
Hotel Guidi is in Mestre's Via Forte Marghera, and overlooks Canal Salso, the ancient waterway that connected Venice to the mainland. Venice’s center is just 10 minutes away by bus.
Score from 656 reviews Very good
Just a 4-minute walk from Venezia Mestre Train and Bus Station, Hotel Regit is a 10-minute train ride from Venice’s center. A varied breakfast buffet is served daily, also on the grounds.
Score from 1006 reviews Good
Ideally located 220 yards from Mestre Station, Hotel Aaron offers modern accommodations and a friendly atmosphere. Reach Venice in 8 minutes by train or 12 minutes by bus.
Score from 577 reviews Good
Great staff very helpfull with directions, nice healthy breakfast, really close to the bus station for Venice (£2.60 return) and the train station (bus to the airoport £11 return)
You get what you pay for!
Fair for what we paid. nice people really helpful
For the price is good
If you want to see Venice without paying its prices, this hotel in Mestre and handy. 5 mins. from station and decent value.
Lovely staff especially on reception, very helpful. Easy access to Mestre train station only 7 minute walk, area was quiet and no problems, bus across the road to Venice S Roma 10 mins ride for Euro 1.30 each way. Buses run all night.
I had no problems with the hotel whatsoever.
Location- 5 mins walk from Venice Mestre rail station (incl airport bus link); there was also a bus and tram stop outside the hotel, with buses direct to Venice. For a value for money location out of central Venice but with good public transport links, it was ideal. Breakfast OK but nothing special.
Not the quietest location- sleep disturbed at various times by a passing storm (hardly the hotel's fault), the car park gate, a nearby school. WiFi in my first room very poor, but when I reported this, the manager was quick to offer to move my room to a much better signal (and room, in fact). When I first arrived staff could have been a little more helpful in giving me local tips- e.g. where to eat, quickest way into Venice etc, but there may have been a language barrier- my Italian poor, their English modest.
Large bed Clean facilities
Poor lighting in hallway and bathroom Staff not very engaging
Location OK for visiting Venice. Towels OK. Price OK.
Bed bugs! Sister woke covered in bites and little reaction when staff informed. Reading lights, 1 not working and other ineffective. No signal to television. Shower rose seal leaking so squirts out side ways. Door handles and hinges need oiling as very noisy and wake others.
The location was about the best part of the hotel. The breakfast was reasonable, but only jam was available (no cheese or meat). Bed sheets and towels were replaced every day, although we didn't ask for it.
The beds were very hard, sleeping was difficult. The main lamp on the ceiling didn't have a cover so the light was very bright. The bathroom had mold on the ceiling, the toilet seat was broken, the toilet paper holder was broken. The plastic carpet felt a little sticky, don't know how clean that was.
Room flooring mate damaged and came out in batches and rooms were not so clean. For a 3 star hotel it needs improvement.
Price /quality was excellenr..friendly, helpful, staff...nice room...bus service outside door to Venice.
professional management, very good location, nice bed-linen, substantial breakfast, accurate cleaning, comfortable beds and shower.Very good hotel for visiting Florence both by car or public transport.
carpets and counterpanes are very shabby, insufficient communication tools.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice location. Good breakfast.
The strategic position of the hotel.it is at the heart of mestre.Resturant caffe and shops are well reach. It is also nearer to venice train station and bush stop
Breakfast was poor.No dish washer. In the 21 century and in the develope world such a thing should not be lacking. No lift difficult transporting our luggages was difficult for us
it is in the best location, outside the hotel is the bus station to Venice, no 6, 7 and others from Venice no 7. also close to railway station and from the airport the bus stops there!!!
is a small with the basic facilities, the breakfast room is only for 4 tables and the menu is coffee or tea ,croissant marmalade, butter and a piece of bread, but very nice coffee!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- the mold on the bathroom's walls - ugly smell in the room - everything in the room was very old - bad and poor breakfast - mosquitoes in the room - narrow parking area - non functional air conditioning system - bored personnel - stinky dirty blanket
Hotel is on good location -easy acess with car, bus stop in in the front of the hotel, 10 min drive to venezia... you need to pay 7€ for 1 day parking and i need to leave my keys at reception... i stay only 1 night and park my car for 2 days -it is still the cheapest option.
for that price it was OK
Good location, room size
Poor breakfast, old furniture room, no mobile shower
Cleaness of rooms
1. Unexepted demand to leave car keys at the reception if one wanted to use private parking. 2. Getto like neighbourhood. 3. Restricted offerings, quantity and quality of breakfast. 4. Unfriendly staff, prone to quarelling with guests.
Whilst staff obliging not terribly engaging,
Rooms walls must be thin very noisy poor selection for breakfast
close to the train station good breakfast and the manager there was really nice the entire time gave us good directions and restaurant recommendatios were spot on, I will definitely go back to this hotel
It is very near to the bus stop (Via Cappuccina), to the train station and also to Venice. To Venice only about 15 minutes. Breakfast is served very nicely (it is served sepparately for each room).
The hotels wifi didn't work and we chose the hotel for the wifi so that we could plan out our days before we went out. Then when we decided to leave a day early, even though we told them a day before refused to not charge us for the last day. They gave us a five euro credit for no wifi... Not worth staying there for the trouble you will have.
Frankly, we sort of liked the hotel. The night shift (I mean the staff) is really cool and kind :) The hotel is located just by the tram and bus station (you can either travel to the Mestre centre or to Venice from here - bus 2 from Mestre FS takes you directly to Venice, but it tends to be pretty crowded so better to get on one of four Via Piave bus stops), and it´s like 10 minutes by foot from the central railway station Venezia Mestre, where you get on the trains to Venezia Santa Lucia. On Via piave, just ten minutes by foot, a supermarket Alí is located, open till 7,30 P.M. However, kind Chinese just few steps from the supermarket have a cool grocery store, with fresh cool ale, open till cca 9,30 P.M. The breakfast comprises of a croisant and a brioche, jam, honey, butter and some cheese, you can order whatever you please for drink, from cafe, juice, tea and so. Body and hair shampoos, soap and shoe shine towelette are available at the room showers, and you are supplied by the new ones every day. The air conditioning can be used at the hotel rooms.
It is not recommended to leave any kind of food with an opened sack in the rooms, ants tend to appear. They ate us a hole pack of crisps to be quite frank. So far, some TV channels had not been available when we stayed at the hotel.
strong WIFI in the room.
