Hotel Da Bruno    

Friendly, helpful staff. great breakfast buffet. pretty rooms with Murano glass mirrors and light fixtures. Good location, only five minutes from St. Marks Square.

Very small room. Very small bathroom. Overlooking a very noisy street. Had to wear earplugs to sleep felt very cramped.

Igor was very helpful and the location is quite good.

I travelled in late April and found the room very hot. At that time of year Italy does not allow air-conditioning and as the room did not have a fan, I found it very hard to sleep (I could not open my window as there were mosquitoes and a pigeon permanently posted outside my window). The walls are also very thin however earplugs helps with this.

Location of the hotel is great. Way to Rialto takes 5 min and way to San Marko square - 7-10 min. Quality of clearning is very good. Breakfast is not bad.

Room is very small

1) The hotel is well located, 2) the breakfasts are tasty and varied, and 3) a bathroom with a large shower and bidet.

1) The window of my room looked out into the narrow courtyard with a chipped front wall, 2) from the courtyard constantly smelled of cigarette smoke

The best hotel wi-fi I have ever used, free of charge for guests. Fantastic. Also the location, midway between Piazza San Marco & The Rialto. We will happily stay there again.

The "hot" water in the shower was sometimes luke warm.

The breakfast is generous but quality could be better.

Igor at the reception was very nice and helpful. He gave us many tips and suggested a great restaurant to have dinner. He really went above and beyond when we asked about anything, like checking the times for the trains to florence suggesting when to go. Otherwise we will not catch it on time. The breakfast buffet was really great, they had a variety of everything. The staff was helpful when we ask for Decaff cappuccino. They had to make it for us in the back. Overall it was nice staying in The Bruno Hotel. The location is good. We came by water taxi that drooped us in Rialto bridge. The walk was at least eight minutes to ten minutes to the hotel. It's easy to get lost in Venice but if you ask directions you will get to your destination quickly. From the hotel it is very close to the San Marco Square.

The staff is excellent. Giussepe and his team, did more than we expected, to accomodate and help us. The day we checked out, they took our bags, and we went to different places of Venice. Just before we left, we ate in a cafe closed to the hotel. They didn't take cards, only cash. I had to leave my family there , to go look for an atm. I went to the hotel, and asked Igor for an atm. He took money from his own wallet to go pay, and let my family go. And even though it was raining, He walked with me to the atm machine. I will come back. Thank you

The staff at Hotel Da Bruno were very welcoming when we arrived in Venice. We especially appreciated Igor who suggested a special restaurant for us to go to for our birthday celebration. He was very helpful and made our stay so enjoyable. The location was close to the Rialto Bridge and St Mark's Square, both less than a 10 minute walk. The rooms were clean and traditionally decorated. The bathroom was a bit small but that is to be expected. We made it work. I would definitely recommend this hotel for someone for their first stay in Venice.

The hotel was a little hard to find, because we got there during acqua alta so some of the streets our gps directed us down were not accessible. It ended up being about a 10-15 minute walk from the water taxi which wasn't bad considering we couldn't take the direct route as suggested.

My husband and our two-year old toddler stayed at Hotel Da Bruno for 2 nights in December. The hotel made our visit to Venezia as called by the very friendly locals. Best value for money, the staff were very friendly and made us feel at home. Also loved the location, walking distance from san marco and the rialto bridge. lots of stores and restaurants close by.

the only down side to our stay at Da bruno was the limited wifi service in the rooms, i had to go down to the foyer sometimes to access the internet.

I thought the service was great and it was in a great location. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Hotel Da Bruno is excellently situated about two mins between each Rialto & San Marco and is very easy to find the first time. The rooms are comfortable, with good heating/aircon and lovely hot showers and complimentary room safes. For those who want to travel light, the soap & shampoo provided is adequate. The staff are all very friendly & helpful and are available 24 hours a day. Breakfast offers a great selection and set me up for each day. I would not hesitate to stay again and will definitely recommend to all my friends and family.

If I had to say something - the hairdryers supplied are no very good, but I always take my own dryer anyway....

Third visit at this time of year. Small but warm and comfortable room. Helpful staff on front desk. Very adequate breakfast with freshly made coffee. Reasonable price.

The staff was great! And since I was alone the room was excelent I didnt need more.. The breakfast was great also. In my first visit to the city i didnt get lost at all because of the great location!
