The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was very good.
Excellent location and very friendly staff
Poor beds and rock hard pillows. Only one extra pillow for a double bed, not good value for money.
The location of the hotel was good. 5 minutes to St Marks. The breakfast was ok. There are shutters on the outside of the windows so the rooms are dark and quiet once they are closed.
The triple room was old fashioned and fairly grotty. Tight for space for 3 people plus luggage. The bathroom was really unpleasant. It was very small, the shower enclosure was missing the door so the whole room got soaked. The drain in the shower was very slow to drain the water away. It was not nice to stand in previous guests dirty water when it backed up! We were not sorry to leave.
Super location walking distance to all major attractions... Nice touch a refreshing drink on arrival... Note no lift but no prob for us... Hotel instructions to get from the Rialto bridge look like when u get to the square u go straight but u actually need the far left exit from the square...
Location and the helpful staff
Lack of an elevator
Absolutely fantastic central location between Rialto and San Marco. Friendly staff, nice hotel, good wifi. Definitely recommend.
Very good service.excelent breakfast.and receptions very good.
The service staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Great location in the center of downtown of Venice. Tiny single room but very cozy.
location, friendliness of staff and very helpful reception. Good breakfast
room was very small but comfortable
We were surprised how large the room was. The room included an extra couch/ bed and a spa bath. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were low and flat, which I like. Staff were fluent in several languages and very responsive. Breakfast was very good and varied. Well positioned, about 5 minutes walk to and from the vaporetto and a short walk to St Marks. Near a well known local rosticeria if you want to eat great local food on the cheap.
We requested a lower floor and got it, but the stairs were still quite steep for me. Wouldn't choose this hotel if you have knee issues.
Friendly, helpful staff. Superb breakfast. Ideal location. Cold drink on arrival. Free Wi-Fi available but we didn't use it. Coffee/ tea/cold drinks available at bar all day. 24 hr reception.
Cleanliness Friendliness on arrival
Noise in room despite double glazing No breakfast organised for early departure despite request Small bathroom No public areas
Location, friendliness of staff, quiet Neighbourhood for sleeping, breakfast excellent.
Carrying bags from public transit, rocky road with steps.
A very well run Hotel with very helpful staff.
location was good, staff at reception were good
No lifts had to climb up two floors everytime we used to go in and out, wifi was poor
Staff location atmosphere ambiance. They took us to the island of Murano as a compliment of the hotel. Breakfast excellent!
Easy walk to get anywhere in Venice. Staff were very helpful. No lift, but we were on the first floor so no big deal. Breakfast was good. Glass of juice on arrival. The decor was a bit dated & the bathroom was small, but the place was excellent value for money and in a great location so we didn't mind.
Excellent location very convenient nice breakfast and lovely staff. If the negatives are addressed below this would be a stunning place to stay
Let down by very hard pillows, bug crawling on the floor and some dead bugs on the wall and curtain. Also would have liked coffee in the room to be fair we were given coffee in reception in the afternoon
Close to Rialto stop. Lots of shops around
Email from hotel prior to me getting there didn't tell me that I could get a direct public boat to the closest stop.
The small room was very quiet
The breakfast staff was not friendly
The single room was way too small.
We liked the location and it was quiet for sleeping. There is a computer in the hallway with internet access which was handy. The bed was large and comfortable
The bathroom was microscopic and we all found that difficult. To be fair I think this is probably to be expected in these old buildings, unless you are prepared to pay a lot more.
Everything, especially the location
Location, hotel staff
Shower very small, for normal size person. Location of toilet tissue holder in bad spot. Breakfast could be better, not healthy selection.
