Score from 1277 reviews Good
Location, friendliness of staff, quiet Neighbourhood for sleeping, breakfast excellent.
Carrying bags from public transit, rocky road with steps.
A very well run Hotel with very helpful staff.
location was good, staff at reception were good
No lifts had to climb up two floors everytime we used to go in and out, wifi was poor
Easy walk to get anywhere in Venice. Staff were very helpful. No lift, but we were on the first floor so no big deal. Breakfast was good. Glass of juice on arrival. The decor was a bit dated & the bathroom was small, but the place was excellent value for money and in a great location so we didn't mind.
Close to Rialto stop. Lots of shops around
Email from hotel prior to me getting there didn't tell me that I could get a direct public boat to the closest stop.
The small room was very quiet
The breakfast staff was not friendly
The single room was way too small.
We liked the location and it was quiet for sleeping. There is a computer in the hallway with internet access which was handy. The bed was large and comfortable
The bathroom was microscopic and we all found that difficult. To be fair I think this is probably to be expected in these old buildings, unless you are prepared to pay a lot more.
Everything, especially the location
Location, hotel staff
Shower very small, for normal size person. Location of toilet tissue holder in bad spot. Breakfast could be better, not healthy selection.
Extremely helpful og welcoming staff.
We booked this hotel before our trip. It turned out to be a great choice. Da Bruno is on a busy street with lots of shops & restaurants near by. The staff were very helpful. The air con worked well, so despite it being hot our nights where restful without mosquitoes. Breakfasts were also great.
The bathroom & shower was small as they were in all the hotels we stayed. So it's not really bad, it just that we are not used to it. It was however very clean, & that's probably more important.
Quiet room, good breakfast, nice staff
Nothing springs to mind
Very good location between San Marco and Rialto ; nice and kind staff
The location was great, easy walking (even with suitcases) from Rialto bridge. The directions provided faultless! Very friendly staff, wi-fi ok and free. Everything was very clean. I was warned that room was small but had never seen one so small but for one night it was fine. Breakfast altough not grand was suitable and good quality.
A bit noisy... but not horrible!
The location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful, the room was beautiful.
Nice clean room Good bathroom Great choice at breakfast Friendly staff Wifi always on so no continuous logging off Bar fridge to keep things cold
No lift and we were on top floor but this is Venice and not many lifts in hotels. Air con could be better. We were still too warm with it on full
Small comfortable hotel not far from Santa Maria Formosa, Rialto and San Marco. Rooms are not very large but rather clean and well-conditioned. Quite rich breakfast buffet. Responsive and ready-to-help staff.
We traveled with our 5 month old baby and we believe the location is excellent as from airport we reached Rialto Bridge directly by Alilaguna boat (1 hour), the Hotel is just a 4 minute walk from the Bridge. Most importantly the hotel is located very close to all main tourist attractions (4 - 6 minutes) by walk. The reception staff were excellent and speak very good English, the house keepers do their job very well. The breakfast is 5 star. We highly recommend this hotel. There is a super market just a few meters left side of the Hotel, you can buy drinks, snacks or whatever you need from there CHEAP.
Nothing much. The rooms are not sound proof anyway it was quiet at night so didn't have a problem.
Great staff. Easy to access tourist places and close to most things. Nude small breakfast in the morning. Complimentary boat ride to the Marano Glass factory.
Room for 4 was tight, if you are 2 travelers it's nice. No elevator and bringing the bags up to the top floor was tough.
The staff were very helpful with any question. The rooms were of a good size and the beds were comfortable.
Staff very friendly and helpful with advise to get around. Room was compact but this is expected in Europe/Venice. We had a triple room which accommodated us well and was clean and comfortable. Old world feel of teh hotel added to its charm. Breakfast was adequate. Great base/location to explore Venice.
Could not fault.
Location was perfect, super friendly staff, even gave umbrellas to take when it was light rain. Igor was very helpful.
We had a room on the third floor with a private balcony, great location, lovely friendly staff, and good breakfast, would recommend to anyone for central Venice
