Our desk clerk, Danilo, was wonderful. He suggested restaurants for us to try and was very pleasant to talk with. The hotel also has a roof-top breakfast room that was very nice.

Excellent location within walking distance of many beautiful areas in Rome and fabulous shopping. Our room was quiet, spacious and well- appointed with a very comfortable bed. The staff was extremely friendly, professional and helpful with all our requests-- and we had many questions about tours, etc. We also enjoyed the delicious complimentary breakfast in the rooftop cafe.

Excellent location & staff. Quiet & relaxed atmosphere but no where to sit & relax as hotel is small. Very clean & nicely furnished.

It was a lovely hotel in the center of Rome. ALthough in one of the main side streets near the Spanish Steps and Corso, it was very quiet ( windows are sound proof). Very nice breakfast buffet on the terrace, staff was very accomodating and the room was very clean and big. We loved it. Really no complaints at all.

The desk staff were all competent, good-humored and helpful. They gave us excellent restaurant recommendations. They spoke excellent English and were forgiving of our amateurish Italian. They were responsive to our requests for boarding passes, shopping suggestions and general inquiries. The breakfast buffet was ample, interesting and delicious, especially the classic bakery goods (e.g., torta alla nonna). Via Frattina is charming, and within walking distance of everything in the historic district. The bathrooms were roomy. clean and well-appointed. The whirlpool bathtub was welcome after a footsore day of sightseeing. The English translation in the elevators which warns us not to interfere with the doors "during the race" is amusing in its inaccurate charm, but bespeaks a certain lack of professionalism. No big deal, 'though.

Loved staying at Daniel's. It is in an excellent location both for sightseeing on foot and for access to the Metro. Our room was very comfortable and well furnished and finished to a high standard. None of that familiar slight disappointment when shown the room. It was pleasure to come back to and relax in after a hard day's sight seeing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, one of the benefits of staying in a small hotel. Breakfast was fine but perhaps not aimed at the Uk/Australian traveller. Would certainlly use this hotel again.

Location is fantastic. Room and bathroom spacious and clean. Fruits in the room came in nicely after a hot day. Jaccusi didn't work (or I didn't manage). Breakfast was decent. Aircon was powerful that was key on that very hot day. Maybe slightly overpriced at 325 euro a night.

The rooms are elegant and newly decorated. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is quite small which makes it cosy. In our case there were only two rooms on the floor and both were occupied by us, so we were not bothered by any noise at all. Very nice beds. Free wi-fi was also gretly appreciated. Breakfast room is on the roof so every morning we enjoyed a nice view of Rome. Since we travelled in April, no conditioning or heating was needed, so there is nothing to say here. For russian speaking - a number of members of the staff speak Russian.

The warmth and friendliness of the staff. they were absolutely wonderful and helpful in every way. we loved the intimacy of a small hotel. it was unfortunate that we had to move so many times! but this did not dim our affection for the hotel. the double superior rooms are ample, but the double room is really too small for two people.

The hotel is located right in the center of Roma on the pedestrial street, small but cosy, easy to reach by walk at all the important monuments . The breakfast is served on the terrace on the 6 th floor with a beautifull view of Rome.

Nice rooms with two windows, both facing courtyard, thus it was very quiet in spite of the position of the hotel (central shopping street), but you can hear the birds singing in the morning. Breakfast with really wonderful view on the old city, not delicious but still very nice for Rome standards (fresh fruits, yogurts, cakes, selection of cheese, fried eggs or omelette, pancakes with chocolate, warm vegetable pudding). Fresh fruits in the room each day. Very helpful stuff. In comparison with other hotels in Rome I will recommend staying here, if you need central position, you will not be disappointed. no bathrobes, very low internet speed, though wi-fi is free in the rooms.
