Breakfast helpfull staff
Arrive door closed and hotel without name,
A quiet area yet within an easy busride of the centre of Florence. The staff were all friendly and efficient and young barman/waiter was particularly so.
I liked cleanliness and the hotel location because of silence and beautiful nature in around.
bath was no thub and small, probably!
Beautiful hotel great staff accommodations were very good
Hotel is in very quiet part of Florence Not much happening there.Great if you need some quiet time away from busy Florence
Not much...the older stle hotel
The room was ugly. The bed was as hard as a rock, my back ached the next day. The breakfast area was a nightmare, not enough tables for the mount of people wanting to eat, so you were forced to stand around nd wait for others to finish. There was just two waitresses, and they clealy could not cope with the demands of the customers. Injust wanted toast...this was too hard to comprehend. There was no milk for tea, the platters of food ran out seconds after the food was put out. There was no cereal and no coco pops or the like for kids. I left, or eating a thing. This hotels rate needs to come down as we found everything to e appalling.
We stayed here for 3 nights during a week long stay in Italy and thoroughly enjoyed it at this hotel. It was an ideal quiet base for visiting various cities in Tuscany. Staff were very pleasant, breakfast was good and room was comfortable.
The only thing that let us down was that the swimming pool was closed for two and a half days while there. One of our requirements for staying in Florence was that the hotel had a pool, so we could relax one day, so it was a little disappointing, but the half day we did get was worth the wait.
The hotel was a superb renovation simply and stylish in keeping with both its history, locality and surroundings. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of tourist attractions and local amenities.
