Hotel war sauber, gute Lage

Wir waren zu dritt mit Fahrräder unterwegs.An der Rezeption erklärte uns so ein kleiner Wichtigtuer ,kein Platz für Räder. Nachdem wir 10 Minuten diskutiert hatten bot der uns einen Garagenplatz für 5 Euro je Rad an. Quittung gab es keine.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Man konnte das Stadtzentrum von dort ganz einfach zu Fuß erreichen. Gut war auch das Frühstück.

Es gab keinen festen Parkplatz, außerdem konnte man das Hotel mit dem Auto sehr schwer erreichen. Die Ausstattung war sehr alt und kaputt. Nachts war es nicht immer ruhig genug zum Schlafen.

Location was pretty good

Room was old and outdated, smelled very musky in the room which made my eyes and nose feel stuffy.

The hotel is excellent, everything was perfect. The staff members are friendly and helpful. The location is perfect near Santa Croce Church and 10 minutes’ walk distance to Ufizzi, Palazo Vechio or Duomo.

The owners - extremely friendly, helpful and informative. The central location - very close to Santa Croce with lots of great restaurants and bars close by. The cleanliness - impeccably clean.

The staff was excellent. Friendly and helpful. The service n the breakfast room was excellent and the breakfast selection was very good.

We like the staff, the room with the kitchenette was a good addition, the hotel was clean an the location was great.

The hotel has a very good staff always at your disposal and very good english speaking people. The rooms are clean, have kitchen and the price for it is very good. The breakfast has a good quality and variety of products.

Location and friendship of the personnel

The owner of the hotel is extremely rude. The hotel and the furniture are old. The rooms have a dirty appearance, with a dirty carpet, a terrible mattress and old pillows. The kitchen towel was dirty and stained, the pans were greasy. The refrigerator door almost fell when pulled. The bathroom stinks. We asked the hotel owner to turn on the air conditioning in our room, and he said that there is a law in Florence prohibiting the use of air conditioning in October, and told us to open the window. We tried, but clarity would not let us sleep. After we pay the bill the hotel owner accused us of having stolen his receipt and then realized that he had placed it in the drawer.

It was very central to all the main attractions. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic! Cafe Lattes were delicious! The room was thoroughly cleaned every day. The mini bar in the room was very reasonably priced. The wifi was free and fast. Elton, the owner was very helpful and gave us great advise on where to eat and made reservations for us to see the statue of David for which we were very grateful and he also booked a day tour for us in advance. He was always there to assist us whenever we needed something. It truely is a fantastic hotel and we would definately go back to Hotel Dante again.

The location is good, next to Santa Croce. We were happy with the breakfasts--cereals, hard-boiled eggs, meats and cheeses, breads, pastries, juices, fruits, and coffee/tea. Nothing hot but it was enough. Service was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good size compared to others we've had in Italy. There is an elevator.

Minor issues. The bathroom was cramped and the shower was run-down, with stained floor (looked dirty but wasn't) and a hole in the shower door. The desk chair literally almost fell apart when I leaned back. It was replaced the next morning.

Location is perfect - mid of old town, staff is friendly.

Quite an old hotel, should to be refurnished.

Good hotel with a great location right in the middle of the city centre. Staff is very friendly and very well informed about the city. Bed is great (not to hard, no to soft) and room was clean. Breakfast is good value for money... If we go Florence again we know what hotel to book!

I did not find any negative things.

Hotel Dante is the perfect starting point to explore beautiful Florence. The location of the hotel is prefect, the major sights are only a few minutes away, everything is in a walking distance. The stuff is very welcoming and helpful, making your stay in Florence as smooth as possible. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are just as good as well. We can recommend this hotel to everyone, we will stay here on our next trip to Tuscany.

Owner was a sweetheart. Very attentive and very helpfull.

Parking is a nightmare.

Staff is wonderful - open-hearted and polite. They do not only the work they have to, but can help you with pleasure with advices, necessary orders, luggage. They make feel at home - everything is comfortable and clean. Breakfast is very nice and tasty. Location is the best one can imagine!

The hotel Dante was a friendly hotel nothing was to much trouble for Elton and his wife Rosana they where a wonderfull couple so eager to please,the room was large very clean and comfortable with a small fridge, air conditioning,large bathroom ,quite even though we where in the heart of Florence

There was nothing to dislike everything was perfect!!

Hotel owners were always very helpful in helping us with our request for making our stay comfortable. The location is suitable for visiting all the main attractions within Firenze within 10 mins walking. The hotel staff are helpful in arranging your preferred side trips to nearby Siena, Pisa and San Girminagno (very good tour) Free and fast wifi is very helpful when travelling in Italy. Breakfast is served in the courtyard is very relaxing and homely. Great freshly made coffee of your choice freshly made for you. Will definitely be coming back again to stay in this hotel. I give this hotel a 10 out of 10. Very happy and wish the Murati family the best.

The hotel is very central and the staff are very friendly.

We asked for Gluten-free crackers for breakfast and these were not provided during our stay. But this was a minor issue.

The Staff were very freindly..made us feel at home....breakfast was excellent,and the room was unusaly large size and very comfortable..location was excellent,.
