My family of four (two adults and two children) loved the Hotel Dante in Florence. We stayed in room 302 which had two rooms each with a bed - one with a king and the other with a double. Room 302 also had a small kitchenette where one could minimally cook and keep a few items in the fridge. Hotel Dante is in an excellent location just north of Santa Croce and when you look out the hotel window and look to your left you can see the church just meters away. Air conditioner in main room which has king bed. Breakfast was excellent with the best hot chocolate made in Europe. Small selection of meat/cheese, yogurts, crossaints both filled and plain and plain rolls and coffee, tea, milk, orange and pineapple juice. Hotel did not receive excellent reivew for services/facilities because hair dryer in bathroom has a frayed hose and therefore doesn't work correctly. |

There are 2 very important and outstanding things about this hotel. Location and service of the staff. You are in the middle of Firenze just a few minutes walking from whatever you want to see. Perfect! Adriano from the reception was fantastic!!! Such a good service and great with children. Can't think of any other hotel I ever been which would beat that guy. Super service! Sometimes a bit noisy but that's because you are in the middle of the centre. |

Location excellent for sights,in a small side street off Piazza Santa Croce, no traffic noise at all even though in busy city.Most major sights 10-15mins walk. Staff friendly and helpful.Breakfast was usual continental fare,cereal,rolls, preserves, cheese, croissant and hot drink made to order.Room a little dark due to proximity of other buildings.Working air con,shower,TV & fridge. Would have liked an english news channel on tv. |

The staff were amazing. As soon as we arrived the staff provided us with a map and detailed information on the best places to go in Florence. Also everytime we saw a reception member, they greeted us very friendly, making sure we had everything we needed. Great soundproofing and aircon! Our room could have done with a bit of a renovation! |

The people who 're working there are very nice, helpfull and friendly. I was with my kids, who became friends with the staff. The hotel's excellent situated at the centre of the Florence, so we didn't need to use a car or a bus. The Duomo is only a 10 minute walk away. The furniture was a little bit old, but we're told, that the hote'll be renovated in the next few months. I'm sure after that it'll be the most wonderful plase for a holiday in Florence. |

Very near to the center of Uffizzi-Florence. Breakfast very poor - just coffe and croissanes, the rooms are not renovated a lot of time. |

The room was large and contained a refrigerator. The location was very good. The bathroom was very small and the hotel is in the need of replacement carpeting. |

Good location in quiet street close to all attractions. Breakfast was excellent and staff were very friendly. Big bathroom. Free internet. Car parking not available as promised. Difficult hotel to find. |

we have stayed in many large European cities, and the staff at Hotel Dante were so attentive which was a wonderful surprise. The room actually had an a.c. unit that works. This is a rarity in Europe! The rooms were quiet, and met our needs. |
