The room and bathroom were tiny, and the bathroom had stinky drains,
plus rotting door frame as the ventilation was insufficient. Air
conditioning costs an extra 6 euros per day, which is just petty,
especially considering the room price.
The breakfast buffet is below average, with the lowest quality ingredients, but still not as bad as the dinner, which they try to present as some fancy gourmet experience, but they just simply throw together non-matching and low quality ingredients, and its price is simply ridiculous for the quality. Oh, and don't bother with the wine!
The main reason we chose this hotel is that it offered a few extra activities, like table-tennis, darts, etc. These were located in the most depressing looking basement, and a minor detail, but I just couldn't believe the state of the ping-pong bats, which must have been there since the 70s, with traces of the yellow foam that once covered the bare wood surface. It just summarizes the attitude of the management.
The staff is very friendly, they really try their best to make you feel
welcome. They speak some English and German too, so communication is no
problem. The outside pool area is reasonable. Towels are changed and
basic cleaning is done every day. Good location, just off the main
street and very close to the beach.
