Wonderful friendly staff who couldn't do enough for you. Superb garden where "happy hour" took place from 6-8pm each evening with a selection of tapa's. A wonderful oasis to escape from the noise of the city...however a pleasant walk along the river bank provided all the wonderful city of Florence has to offer. |

Hotel David really tries hard to make you feel comfortable. Very friendly staff and fantastic rooms with also a few nice concepts(free internet, minibar, happy hour). If you want service and a warm welcome, definately pick this one, its 15 mins walking from downtown. |

Quite apart from the excellent service from Signor Cecchi and his friendly staff, the Hotel David has the best guests' lounge I've ever used, for its wide range of reading materials, games, free internet access and general all-round comfort. The free mini-bar in the room was also a nice touch. We could not find fault with anything. |

A very good hotel whose philosophy seemed to be to make its customers comfortable and relaxed. The evening 'happy hour' was very good as were its breakfast and drinks prices in the bar and gardens. |

The way the managers/owners came up with ways to make reduce the anxiety around traveling in a big city. They had a free happy hour every day with wine and snacks, they allowed a free 10 minute call anywhere in the world daily, they had postage stamps and bus tickets,free parking, they provided the contents of a free bar refrigerator and finally they were extremely helpful with any question. There was too much good to consider what I didn't like. |

The hotel is sweet and quaint and runs like a Swiss watch. The staff is very friendly and highly professional. Everything reflects the personal touch of the family that owns it. It is just off the Arno River in a quiet residential neighborhood. It feels like an authentic Italian villa. No, it was exactly what we expected and more. |

Fantastic friendly staff. Rooms are beautiful and spotlessly clean. The hotel have lovely additional touches like free nibbles and wine in the bar area every night as well as a free phone call home each night. Superb hotel and staff, definitely the place to stay in Florence if you like good service and unobtrusive but helpful staff. |

The staff were welcoming and very helpful. Our room complete with 4 poster bed was immaculate and the wine and flowers for my wifes birthday were very much appreciated. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. nothing |

The staff were excellent very helpful and pleasant.The gesture of early evening aperitif was a nice touch.Altogether most pleasant.Thank you. Noticed a little noise from guests useing the shower etc.next door,but really not too much of a problem. |

The staff was very nice and helpful. Yes, it was very far from the center of everything. Took us an hour to get there from the train station. And walking to and from the center of Florence was too long and we are young and agile! |

the staff gives you the filling he realy wants you to enjoy your stay, inform you all the free things you can get (like 10 min. call to you country fo free), warn you from getting a ticket in the city, etc. braekfast is very poor. need transport to the center, car is not an option, since you will get a ticket if entering the zone. |
