Dating back to 1875, Bettoja Hotel Massimo d'Azeglio is an elegant building 300 ft from Roma Termini Train Station. The Colosseum is a 15-minute walk down the road on Via Cavour.

Location (close to underground) Quality of bed Wifi Owner who's helpful and discrete Bathroom was clean. Handtowel at your disposal
Central, very quiet over the pretty court yard, friendly host, clean room and building.
The position is great .Metro at door.Walk to attractions.not being a big hotel ,you enter a normal apartment building. We had several coffees at the corner and were soon greater as locals (coffee 1.50 euro not 4 in town?also cold Peroni after a busy day!)
- room was very peaceful for central Rome - owners were extremely helpful and friendly - everything else was excellent, the room, cleanliness etc.
Excellent location, the Vittorio Emmanuelle metro station is right next door. Also the Termini is 10 minute walk away and colosseum about 15 minutes. Wifi works okei and it's free. Nice and friendy staff and even the breakfast is in the near by cafe it is nice, a pastery by your choise and cup of coffee.
If you like a nice quiet hotel, this is not for you. The locks on the doors are by simple keys and middle of the night they are noisy. How pleasent your stay is depends on your nightbour and how noisy they are. We weren't quite lucky. No 24h reception because Da Vinci is B&B and the staff is not always there. It would be nice to have some kind of contact info in case emergency. Just a recommendation!
The location is perfect: it's close to the station and at the same time within walking distance to main sights. The room was comfortable, clean, fresh, cosy and quiet allowing to have a good sleep after a long day in the city. The staff is excellent, providing the information needed and making your stay feel like home.
Close to underground AC worked well It was secure
No real breakfast to speak of. Too many keys and stairs and doors Had to call a number when arrived to meet the owner
Cleaning every day
unstable poor internet
Location - next to one entrance to Vittorio Emanuelle metro station - access to a small kitchen to make tea or whatnot - although the included breakfast is a hot beverage and a croissant from the bar on the other side of the street, at least the croissant is fresh and good tasting (i hate the sweet breakfast italians seem to enjoy)
5 minutes near the central station. Reception is 24 hours.
A little bit old.
Nothing at all
Everything, the place was not clean, no good breakfast, no changing for the bed sheets and towels, the staff is not committed to time. I don't recommend this place for anyone. It's expensive regarding what you will get in return. The published photos is not like reality at all.
Everything, the place was not clean. No good breakfast and in the last day no breakfast. The covers, towels never get changed. The staff is not available and not comitted to time and dates. Do not be fooled by the pictures in the web site as it's far away from reality. The area were the hotel is located is not that good. Very scary at night. I do not recommend this place at all. Paying a 100€ is to much for this place.
Big bed, good location, friendly staff
For Breakfast you have to go to a cafe across the road where you option is coffee and a piece of cake.
The room was clean
When we arrived we were told it was self service Breakfast. Which actually meant that you had to make your own breakfast with little left out to make. We got no breakfast on our last day except tea and cereal. The first day the food that was left out was totally unsuitable. We saw a member of staff when we arrived and didn't see him again.
The breakfast only includes one corssant and one coffee. The pictures on the wall in the room made me uncomfortable.
Near from metro station. They make our bed every day which is very nice to come `home` and see eveything clean.
Everywhere china people. The breakfast is poor but good.
The location was perfect, next to the metro station and a very nice street to walk in the evening. The bed was very large and very comfortable. The view from the window was nice and relaxing.Very helpful staff.
The breakfast is too poor (a coffee and a pastry), but I believe that is the italian style. The breakfast is in another location across the street - Picolo Bar. Too much keys to carry around (4 keys for 4 different doors), but the good side is that you are independent, you can leave and come back whenever you want with your own set of keys.
Ideally located a small cozy hotel
Very friendly and helpful staff. Provides Italian breakfast each morning. Fast, reliable wifi and great location. We walked to colosseum in around 15 mins no hassel. Gave us a choice of room and advised of street noise in the front room.
1 stop from the train station, easy to explore the city by subway. Basic and clean room. Free wifi.
Hard to locate at first. Neighborhood a little sketchy at night. Don't expect anything for breakfast. Price not exactly cheap.
The room was clean and fresh. It was within walking distance of the train station, most of the main sights including the colosseum, spanish steps, trevi and fountain. The breakfast was a coffee and pastry from a small shop across the road but I liked it....it was what the locals were doing.
The pillows we uncomfortable. There was no hot water one morning, but it was resolved once we informed the B&B employee. We read a review that said make sure you ask for a room facing the garden because of the noise from the street...we did this, which was probably a good idea, we recommend you do the same.
