The staff & the room
Hotel with reasonable balance between cost, quality and distance from main square (San Marco). Very friendly staff, especially lady and gentleman on reception and another lady who takes care of you during breakfast. This hotel gives you a bit of "family care" feeling in the middle of historic city center. Hotel rooms are simple but equal to 3* standard. We absolutely recommend this hotel especially during week of Venice carnival - it's really couple of meters far from the main event locations.
This was a great hotel, in a very good location, clean and comfortable
The staff was not very helpful: we asked if they could leave our luggage there and they said "just for half an hour". We had to carry it all over Venice for the rest of the day
The location is fantastic. Close to all the main sights and great cichetti restaurants. The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly.
I would doubt that this is a general problem but my boyfriend and I were told that we couldn't store our luggage after 1pm on our last day because the hotel would be closing for several months. When we came to get our bags before 1 the next say we were actually yelled at because we were somehow supposed to know that our stuff should have been out by 11:30. Mistake but they weren't gracious about it at all.
Fragrance of cleaning in every where They have hospitality, kindness, sincerity, helpfulness Good location If you checked in,ll ' not want to check out
It would help if they listed their address correctly.
This Hotel is located near to San Angelo water bus station for Vaporetto to go anywhere and Alilaguna for Airport. There is no bridge and stairs from the station, good for whose dragging big luggage.
We fell in love with our room.It was beautiful very clean has rverything we wanted.Madam Tereza made us feel at home with advise and even gave us boots. The breakfast was excellant.service was quick and good.I loved the hotel and was very happy.
I loved everything!!!!!!
The location is just less than 5 mins walk to ST Angelo water taxi station. The owner told me can take the water taxi directly from airport to St Angelo. I wasted my time from the airport by taking the bus and then water taxi to St Marco. The hotel address is a bit misleading. The breakfast has yogurt, chopped fresh fruits, bread, ham , cakes, cheese, very good coffee.Clean towels every day. The owner was very passionate to introduce me what are places worth to visit, best time to visit , good restaurants around the hotel. The location is really good , only 5 to 7 mins from the Academia station.
The phone in my room wss not working, I was unable to call the receptionist when the crazy ladies non stop chit chatting at 5am till 6am+++. LUCKILY! This only happened at the very last day.
Location - short walk from boat stop from the airport and from all of the main attractions. Staff friendly and helpful.
Location - right next to at angelo waterboat station
Aged staff who are not entirely hospitable. Concierge closes in the night n we had to wake up the snoring concierge to gain access.
Very close to waterbus stop and short walk to major sites. The gentleman at the front desk was very helpful and the room was a good size.
shower was just a tub with a handheld shower head. no curtain or door.
I have traveled to Venice numerous times and stay for a day or two for pleasure on my way to a business trip. This hotel was excellent and much better than numerous other places I have stayed. The staff was overly accommodating and pleasant. Gave me lots of tips and information on getting around. Room was very good for the price I paid and everything was comfortable. I would stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel.
excelent location. very good coffe. friendly staff. closed to the wapreto stop and to thje main attractions.
If you like walking and exploring getting from and to hotel was good.
At times it was hard to find your way back..especially if didn't use the river buses.
My room was at 3rd floor & No lift, mini- bar was locked & iron is not allowed to use in the room. Staff was not friendly.
Absolutely superb location. Could walk to almost any big tourist site in the city. Did not need to take the water taxi except to reach airport. The staff was very helpful. Rooms were clean and linen was changed daily. Breakfast was modest, but reasonable. Defnitely worth the money
Small rooms, with little space for opening / spreading out luggage. Bed mattress was old / sagged.
staff, room comfortable, good place to stay if one is using it as a base to explore Venice. no problem leaving bags for day after check out.
difficult to locate but Im not sure if most hotels would be the same in Venice.
I guess the location was ok I man at the desk on arrival was very helpful and the Filipino man overnight
The room was very outdated and not inviting The bed was horrible and uncomfortable Canal view never existed Shutters were old and never closed properly , bars over the window Windows never closed properly and large spider shared our room ( my son was scared) Miniature TV for price of room Bathroom was not practical no shower Breakfast was ok however when I asked at 9 am if I could get more fruit salad I was told no more that's it !! When walking down stairs my son was continually asked to not do this and be quiet ( he's 6) not child friendly Woman cleaving floor at 11:00 was clearly not happy as we wanted to walk outside over her floor She made it clear she was not happy , not professional ! I expected more from the money it cost per night
If you want to spend an unforgettable vacation in Venice, Hotel Da L'alboro is the right choice. Excellent place with excellent owners.
The first night.
Lovely owners, very helpful. Great breakfast. Spotless premises. Very safe. Location excellent. San Angelo vaparetto stop a few minutes away. No bridges to cross with luggage. Easy to find.
Use of some outdoor space.
The location is ideal, close to Vaporetto which is of prime importance when hauling luggage along. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is run efficiently, and standard of hygiene is very good.Breakfast is excellent.I enjoyed my stay here.
Colour scheme is safe,if somewhat drab. More imagination in this regard could add appeal to this little gem.
Owner and staff were very helpful with information
Hosts were wonderful. Great location with brief walk to vaparetto and San Marco.
Breakfast just ok.
