Our room (a junior suite) was an upgrade, which we greatly appreciated. Weren't sure why, but there was a lot of street scape and utility construction in front of the hotel, so maybe they were hedging their bets. But we were delighted!

Breakfast was a bit disorderly. I know, lots of people..., but the food choices were great. Thanks to all.

Hotel are little bit old

Location is good, and what is important during holidays - that was really quiet. To say, in the next street there is a lot of clubs, and clubbing was rather noisy even at 02 am. And just in front of clubs are a lot of hotels, 4 stars among them. Breakfast was good.

1) smell of old tobacco because of the carpet fllor. I'm not very allergic, moreover, I smoke myself sometimes, but I don't like old smoked-through rooms which are now "non smoking". My mother and I after 1 night had a very strong allergy. The only way was to sleep with windows all night wide open. 2) their internet connection is awfull. It is no internet in the rooms. In a lobby, it works from time to time and is very very slowly. 3) singles are really very small.

Everything--staff was knowledgeable and most cordial; room, although small, was well furnished; breakfast was abundant and delicious, especially cappuccino; Happy Hour had many tasty choices; location was very convenient to museums & shopping

Hotel de la Ville is an exceptionally well run hotel. As an experienced business and leisure traveler, I cannot fault it, although the in-room safe was difficult to operate.

Location, staff and comfort

Wi-fi with no charge in rooms needed. No provision for morning tea in room mars the value of hotel in rotor. Nothing from roomservice before 7.00 is reducible to accept for a tourist. Staff in breakfast room is excellent. Mr James is too good and courties human makes guests comfortable to his best. Nice n good gentleman.

Explained above Need Wi-Fi in room at no cost Morning tea provision in room essential or I will never stay there again . Cannot wait till7.30in the morning.

Upgrade to suite, central location, warm atmosphere, clean, good breakfast. Real good value for money.

The hotel is very comfortable, right in the center of Florence. Good breakfast and helpfull staff.

No Wi-Fi in the rooms and not very comfortable to use in the lobby. Parking only in a garage for 40 euro per day.

Large rooms. Excelent location. Very near to Firenze Santa Maria Novella train station. Walking distance to everywhere importante in Firenze. Clean and secure.

Wi-fi is only in the lobby (very near to reception desk). Wired internet in the rooms is 15 Euros per day.

Very good location, in between the train station and the ancient city center. Large and clean rooms. Good concierge service and helpful staff.

Breakfast could be better, there were everything we would ask for but they did not seem good enough quality wise.

Very nice hotel. Nice staff and very clean and beautiful hotel. My single room wasn't big but it had everything I needed. I enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back next time I travel to Florence.

The hotel was great. The staff was amazing. The breakfast was incredible. We liked the happy hour. I highly recommend this hotel!

The location

Do not have complimentary WIFI

It is the great location for shopping.

We drank proseco for the breakfast by Euro 5, but the terrible tast.... if they offer 5 euro, they have to take care the quality.....

The room was better than I expected. So lovely decorated and large enough to stay 3 adults. Good location near the centre.

When we came Florence, it's a little bit cold. Heating system was not enough to make room hot.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel De La Ville. It is a beautiful property in a very central location. The staff were helpful and professional. We took a family room with 2 levels and an internal staircase which allowed us to have some privacy while giving our teenage children their own space yet able to communicate easily. We would definitely stay there the next time we are in Florence and highly recommend this hotel to our friends.

It was wintertime and the room was warm even without the heating on. We had to open the windows as the room became alittle stuffy. But overall we had a truly wonderful stay.

It was a nice hotel, great staff and excellent location.

The bed was rock hard. I also prefer a stationary shower head, not the one on the cord which never seems to face me while I'm showering. Otherwise, the room and the hotel was very nice.
