The Paba is a small hotel in a residential building less than a 5 minute walk from the Coliseum. All rooms have private bathrooms and come with air conditioning.

Set a 10 minute walk from Lepanto Metro, Hotel Delle Vittorie offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi. The 19th-century building features a lounge bar, and is in the tranquil Prati area of Rome.

Il Covo B&B is set in the pretty neighborhood of Monti in the heart of the historic center. Take a short stroll down to the Colosseum and the Roman Forum.

The Staff were amazing as was the position of the hotel. I have a very poor sense of direction but found my way around Rome and all the amazing sights with the assistance of the staff and their very comprehensive map.
There was nothing I didn't like but perhaps a little more variety with breakfast would be nice. Breaky was very nice though and generous.
Location was perfect. Staff went out of their way to help us. Breakfast was perfect and they bring it to your room so there is no rushing to make it down to a breakfast buffet. My wife and I would stay in this hotel again and recommend it to all our friends and family.
The guy at the front desk was super helpful & friendly! Helped us find the best restaurants and best places to visit in Rome! Amazing rating from a real traveller !
Only negative is the stairs up but it wasn't hard at all!
We liked the position of the hotel and also the place itself ,thé guys were so helpfull and gave us lots of info of where to go for dinner etc.
Convenient to train station. Very reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff. Smallest hotel in Rome (not including B&Bs)
Not as centrally located as major hotels. Third floor walk-up.
The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive. We had to check in late we arrived after hotel reception closed at 8:00pm . Manager accommodated us to pick up our keys at a different hotel. Breakfast is served to your room. Best value !!!!
The fact that the reception closes. They are open from1pm to 8pm so if you have an issue you will have to wait. (Make sure if u travel by train you arrive to reception before they close! )But they are available through internet and phone. If your looking for a more traditional hotel this isn't it!
Cleanliness, Wifi access, comfort and location were all great!
The hike up the stairs with luggage, a work out, but otherwise good experience.
The location was nice. Walking distance from the train station and to many of the sights. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful. And the morning continental breakfasts were a nice touch.
First, the hotel had no sign and we walked right past the door when we were looking for it. Once we found it, we had to haul our luggage up 3 flights of stairs. No elevator. The room also had a strange smell, a moderately comfortable bed, and a shower that was a tight fit for a six foot tall male.
Everything was great. The staff went out of their way at every turn. We waited in no lines and ate the BEST pizza in Rome according to my grandson based on the staff's recommendation. We went back three times for pizza!!! I cannot wait to go back again.
I liked everything. The only problem I had was that our room had no drawers to put our clothes in and because of that we had to live out of our suitcases, not something I like to do.

The staff were very helpful and even provided breakfast suitable for a person with diabetes. The location was central.
Three flight of stairs and no lift.
Delighted to land in Monti, with so many interesting little stores and restaurants and so many artisan workshops. Staff was good, excepting one night when the maid skipped our room.
It's not a deal breaker, but the third-story, no elevator location was occasionally tiring to 55-60 year old legs after a day of walking around.
The price was exceptional for such comfort in a perfect location. Easily reached from Termini and all sites easily reached on foot. We used the bus once. The You tube link showing the walk from Termini to the hotel was a great help. It was a real oasis with efficient air con in the city heat. Mauro's advice was priceless eg best time to visit the Vatican, circling all the main sites on a map. His advice re choosing eateries and restaurant recommendations - brilliant. Our room was comfortable and clean. Ample storage. Bedding was changed midway through our 4 night stay. Breakfast was adequate with a good choice, loved the apple puree. It was good having breakfast in bed .It made for a relaxed start to a long day of walking. Restaurants, bars, even a jazz club all in the street. Plenty of bustle all around but the double glazing meant we could shut out the city when we wanted. Loved being in a residential area too. Being able to leave our bags safely and the convenient location meant we could make the most of our final day. IDEAL!
Oh there's nothing big enough to mention... Ok, only soap, no shampoo/shower gel. might be an issue for some people. Bring your own and enjoy an independent hotel for an outstanding price!
We loved the staff, the breakfast, and the location. We were very comfortable and would definitely recommend this hotel. When we come back to Rome, we will stay here again.
The beautiful old building just makes your stay in Rome that much better. The staff was great and very helpful. Breakfast delivered to your room at your request. It doesn't get much better than that. Would stay again. A few stairs to climb but thats just part of its charm.
Very friendly staff Cleanliness Room Decoration Great Location
No Lifts and Hotel on 3rd Floor
Great location. The staff is very nice! We loved to get the breakfast in room, is very generous breakfast.
When you flush the toilet or take a shower, you hear a shrill, unpleasant to hear it at night
We loved our stay at hotel de monti! Amazing staff who are so so helpful as soon as you arrive to the minute you leave them. They really try their hardest to cater individually to your stay. The breakfast service was great. Nice food and you are allowed to order to your hearts content from the selection on the menu. Also brought straight to your room at the time you require! Amazing! The hotel was very clean and a maid comes in daily (the same lovely lady who brings your breakfast I believe). Awesome location and in one of the safest parts of the city. Would definitely stay here again. A++++ Thank you Hotel de Monti!!!
Locating Hotel De Monti was our first adventure in Rome but it was like finding a little treasure once we were stepping up the little stairwell into a warm welcome from the staff. The room was fantastic quality and all the sites were within walking distance. Thanks to everybody for making our stay so wonderful.
The staff were great and went out of their way to make our stay great including an early breakfast as we had a flight to catch. They also arranged our transfers to/from the airport and gave excellent advice on local eating/drinking establishments. Would definitely use again when in Rome.
Shower very small (i had difficulty, but then i am 1.85m tall !)
The coffee wasn't hot
Staff were excellent and very helpful, rooms were very clean and large comfortable bed, very nice breakfast.
Great room, clean, comfortable,
No elevator, but staff will bring up luggage
This hotel offers great value, great location and great staff. Since it is a very small hotel, you know who has an access to and cleans up your room. The room is VERY clean and functional. It was quiet and we didn't hear any noise from other rooms. We didn't take any transportation from the hotel to go to sightseeing - it takes 45 minutes on foot to Vatican but it is a part of fun.
It is on the 3rd floor (= 4th floor in the US) and it is not easy to carry your luggage. Also, the shower is very small so it may not be comfortable.
Staff very helpful. Gave us loads of advice what to do, where to eat and how to avoid quese
