Location was excellent.
Bathroom was small and leaking.
The rooms are compact but everything you need is there and comfortable and clean plenty wardrobe and space for suitcases etc nice rooftop breakfast, close to metro and walking distance from cafe strip and Trevi and shopping. We had two rooms with a shared entrance which was nice too. A good value hotel
Can't fault it
Location was great, the terrace and the drinks on the first night were good as well
we stayed at this wonderful hotel for four days last week, we booked one standart tripple room. as we arrived they allowed us to keep our luggage. when we checked in they upgraded our room to superior tripple room that was absolutely wonderful, more like room in 5 star hotel than 3 (we had a flat screen TV in the bathroom). we enjoyed the room very much.the room had a view of Rasiella street, beautiful and lovely, and also of the entrace to the hotel. sometimes it was a bit noisy but actually we rather enjoyed hearing italian language and the treet noises. the hotel and it's facilities were very clean and our room been cleaned daily.the breakfast was served on a beautiful terrace on the 5th floor.very nice. the staff was so nice espassialy Emanuela, she was very helpfull and really gave us feeling that we can adress her with any problem. the location is fantastic, close to all the sites and attractions. we have been in every place in Rome these days and we walked to each one of them (I suggest walking that way you can see a bit more of the city). I would defenitely recommend this hotel.
everything was great
horrible room, service, AC does not work with the remote: have to call the reception to turn it on and off disgusting room
This great hotel is in an amazing location: around the corner from Piazza Barberini, not too far from the Termini train station (where shuttle buses to and from the airport also arrive) and a short walking distance to the Trevi fountain and spanish steps. We stayed in a superior room for 9 nights, which was lovely. Recently renovated, very clean and spacious with high ceilings. Our window looked onto the street, but as it's quite a quiet street sleeping with it open was no problem. For the noisier nights, the a/c is very easy to use and starts/stops quickly. The room key also acts as the electrical switch, so power is saved when one is out. Outside the room, it also shows whether the electricity is being used (i.e. whether someone is in the room) so there's no being woken up by housekeeping if you want a lie in, they come back later when no one's in. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a medical emergency during our stay and they were very helpful and genuinely concerned, still asking days later whether everything was all right. There is also a bathroom available to freshen up in after check out and luggage can be left in a locked room in the hotel. This was quite convenient for us as we didn't leave until late afternoon on our last day.
The only downside was that breakfast wasn't included in the rate and was quite pricey at 10€/person/day. The buffet assortment wasn't overwhelming, thought the view is beautiful. Mostly we went to nearby bakeries and cafes on our way to sightsee, which is a lot cheaper.
Location Clean Comfort
Quality of hotel, staff
Location was great.
Room wasn't cleaned daily
Hotel is very well situated for walking to the Vatican and other places of interest
The shower unit is too big for the shower cubicle which makes showering not pleasant .
Good location, easy to get everywhere. Staff are great. Would recommend
Rooms OK, bathrooms ok but could do with a refresh
Location was excellent and close to most attractions, staff were friendly and helpful. hotel was clean and room was spacious. Very pleasant stay. Great value
Perfect for what we needed, value for money especially for Rome, walking distance to most attractions and relaxing when we returned in the evening. Great roof lounge.
Great location, quiet, comfortable beds, decent sized rooms and nice breakfast terrace. Staff did switch to a better room when 1st room was unacceptably dirty.
1st room (not renovated) was very dirty in bathroom (mold on shower tile). Also, the air vents were heavily coated in dust. 2nd room (renovated) was much cleaner and more functional. Breakfast could have been better, more selection.
Location, breakfast, stuff
Smell of tobacco smoke every morning, weak shower area
Staff were very friendly, great location. We had two small issues in the room and they were there in seconds to fix them, very efficient.
Nothing everything was great
It is a great location with lovely facilities.
There was a leak somewhere so there was a lot of water on the floor when you took a shower. The tissues and toilet paper were not replenished.
Location was great, easy to get around Rome. Room was very spacious and made us feel like we were in a true Italian home.
Website said wifi was free, which was not the case. A lot of noise from surrounding rooms, one morning we were woken to some people in the next apartment screaming at each other.. Not very pleasant.
Our rooms were in the annex. The small elevator took us up 2 at a time..the rooms were clean and had a view of a quiet Italian street. the rooftop terrace was a great way to start the day in Rome.. The breakfast excellent and worth the extra euro's..lastly a great location to see most of Rome's tourist sites..
Location was central. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean.
I would have liked a wall mounted shower. It would have been an added bonus if the roof top terrace had stayed open until 11pm.
Clean comfortable rooms in a great location
- After many years' searching, I have finally found a great hotel in the centre of Rome. - The room was comfortable, a decent size and very clean. - The internet worked fine. - The roof terrace is a wonderful space - for breakfast with view over the Quirinale and the centre of Rome with swallows flying around, and in the evening for a relaxing drink.
- I should have cut the air-conditioning since I woke up cold during the night! - There was some noise during the night from the street - but you are in the centre of a city not in the countryside so that is normal and frankly it was less noisy than at home in the centre of Paris. - Want to go back already
amazing staff, brilliant roof top for breakfast and drinks, well set up to watch world cup
All pretty good really. Would like to make mention of their member of staff "Theodore", working the night shift on reception went out of his way, without any prompting on our part, to secure us a taxi deal for our early morning flight, saving us a good amount of money on a previously quoted price.
The location was perfect. We literally were 2 minutes from Trevi Fountain and 20 minute walk the Colosseum. Metro ride to the Vatican which was around the corner from the Hotel. The hotel is a vintage feel, yet modern and clean and in our tight budget. It was a wonderful surprise. When we return in the future we will stay at this hotel.
