The only slight negatives were that the pillows were too hard for our liking and that the lighting could have been better, especially in the bathroom.
When we arrived in Ferrara we parked the car on Via Palestro and paid via a ticket machine to remain there while we went to the hotel to check in and find out where to park etc. The hotel was only about a 5 mins walk from this spot. When we checked in, we were advised that we had parked in one of the parking locations recommended by the hotel and that the hotel could register our details so we could park there for only 3 euros per 24 hours. We were given a printed slip to display in the car.
We found the owner to be very welcoming and helpful. The hotel was in a great location for sightseeing, restaurants and cafes, right in the centre of the city.
We were in Room 23, which we found to be clean and overall comfortable. Breakfast comprised a variety of cold options such as breads, ham, cheese, pastries, fruit, cereal, juices, coffee etc. Lovely hotel with lots of character. We would recommend.
