Decumani Hotel De Charme  

It was clean, warm and well situated.

I booked a room with 3 single beds as we were travelling as friends...we got a double bed with a nasty uncomfortable sofa bed pulled out as the third bed, yet we were charged for 3 single beds. This was actually a double room with a sofa bed which was very misleading of this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again because of this. Hoteliers will learn not to take advantage of the tourist, because they won't return.

Good location to explore the historic centre. Staff very accommodating.

Two nights was enough. Aircon was not very effective.Breakfst was poor and let the hotel down. Rooms a bit dark and gloomy. Abscence of terrace and public facilites a drawback. Really only 3 star.

We loved this hotel. First of all the location is excellent , right in the heart of the old city. The hotel itself is very beautiful and the decor is gorgeous, (as an artist the visual aspect is very important to me) there is a feeling of spaciousness ; as well as a large bathroom and large bedroom there is an adjoining area where one could sit and enjoy the open window if the weather had not been so inclement. Most of all it was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff that makes me want to return. Staying at this hotel added so much to our trip to Naples, a city that has so much to offer, but the warmth of it's people is notable and this warmth was communicated by everyone working at this hotel . The bed is very firm which we liked and we slept extremely well, the location being a very quiet area . I can't recommend Decumani Hotel De Charme too highly, it is just delightful.

Personnel was exceptionally good.They should all be working at a 5 star hotel and getting paid very good salaries.

Entrance to the hotel is laughable and tragic.Breakfast is a very poor.

The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. The hotel location was close to transportation. It was really located in the old city and you could walk a round .The room itself was quiet and no noise was sound from the street. The dining room was fabulous but the ceiling needs fixing

The entrance to the hotel needs badly renovation. It is a small hotel located in a very old residential neighborhood and does not look nice from the outside.The minute you enter the hotel you feel safe. The dining room is fabulous but needs some fixing of the ceiling. The elevator needs also some modification. The stairs that leads to the second floor of the hotel needs some painting.

Fantastic room in a dirty city.

Location really in old city center, easy access by walking to anywhere, quiet area to sleep. Ask hotel reseption people to escort you to park your car in their contract parking garage to avoid car being scrathed or stolen from street.

Do not enter Napoli center with big wide family cars! Center old streets are too narrow-only possible to drive with small cars!

A wonderful surprise - once you walked through the door; beautiful dining room and good location in the middle of the university area. The staff were amazingly helpful - even phoning my mobile as we were en route to make sure we knew where to find them! (We used public transport.)

Area seemed very rundown - even at the entrance - but we late realised Naples is like that - grafitti everywhere; no complaints about the actual hotel!

Very difficult to find! Recommend getting a taxi to find it in the first place. Once you know where it is, it's easy, but we wasted an hour trying to find it the first time.

We liked the surprise element when coming from the back streets to the lovely old interior. We liked the super friendly staff and the beds were very comfortable.

The staff at the Decumani Hotel De Charme was exceptional in every way. Our every request was met with a smile and we were made to feel welcome.
