The Royal Continental is right on Naples' seafront promenade, in a quiet neighborhood. It features a stunning rooftop pool, with panoramic views out over the Bay of Naples and Castel dell'Ovo.
Score from 1793 reviews Very good
This hotel is in the center of the city, a 5-minute walk from Naples Cathedral. In an elegant building from the early 20th century it offers contemporary rooms with satellite TV.
Score from 453 reviews Excellent
In a 16th-century building, Hotel Piazza Bellini is in Naples’ historic center, 330 yards from Museo Metro Station. The uniquely decorated rooms combine modern design and artistic elements.
Score from 852 reviews Wonderful
Located less than half a mile from Naples’s Piazza del Plebiscito, the Palazzo Alabardieri is a 2-minute walk from the shops of the chic Via Chiaia.
Score from 747 reviews Excellent
The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is a great surprise for the best. The outside is like a dump but the inside like a palace. The food was very good and for young people the location is perfect because you can get anywhere on foot.
A renovated Sforza palace, the rooms are comfortable with high ceilings and beautiful antique furniture. A really remarkable and unique environment. The staff is great, and if you can see past the graffiti covered walls and garbage strewn streets, the hotels location is actually really great -an easy walk to many tourist areas and shopping.
This hotel is very difficult to get to! Streets in Naples are narrow and in some cases restricted to outside traffic. This hotel is located on one of those streets. We called the hotel and someone came down and escorted us up to the hotel so we could avoid a ticket, this is what I would recommend. Still after dropping off bags you have to park several blocks away.
The position, friendly staff and large rooms - great place to see the underrated Naples - would really recommend to all
Wifi bit iffy
Great location for all the old city highlights, never been to Naples? Be ready for a different experience don't be put off by appearances around you the hotel is a sanctuary from organised chaos Take the hotel reception recommendations where to eat within easy 2 mins walk
Could have had a more innovative breakfast range but non the less adequate
The space is fabulous. High ceiling and wonderful historic buildings with baroque style furnishing. Wonderful friendly staff and great breakfast.
Nothing to dislike.
In Hotel Decumani you really feel like you're in Naples. It's very charming, with fabulous decor, especially the stunning dining room. Our room was comfortable, with a mezzanine floor for the bedroom and bathroom and lounge area below. The staff are so pleasant and helpful and went out of their way to help us, even managing to retrieve the bag of holiday reading we left in a taxi.... The hotel is right in the historic centre, so you can walk to everything, even down to the port. Highly recommended!
The location down a side street around a courtyard shared with locals might not be to everyone's taste, but we thought it added to its character. The steps up to our mezzanine were quite deep so not ideal if you're not good on stairs.
The hotel is truly a work of Art of a time gone past. Great location in a vivernt section of historic center. Everything was perfect.
Perhaps one minor detail, a bit more light in the room.
Excellent location and a very warm accomodating staff.
The bathroom could have more space/shelves to hold toiletries, but that was just a minor inconvenience.
Location, friendly staff, fabulous breakfast room and breakfast . Decor and refurbishment excellent.
Poor wifi connection . More surface space to put personal items.
Arrived to the hotel at noon. The hotel is located at the heart of Naples but without any signs throughout the road indicating the hotel location. When arrived, I was asscorted to the room by the clerk and discovered that I didn't received the room that was ordered because unknown reason. None of the hotel employees gave a reason to that matter. When I left the hotel because of that reason, I was ordered to leave through the stairs because I'm not a guest anymore. Shocking experience.
Very helpful staff, could not do enough for you. Breakfast was of good value, nice variety. Location excellent and the room AC fantastic along with a Jacuzzi Tub. Very quite hotel. I would use this hotel again.
Mattress just a little firm.
The staff were wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. Our delux room was spacious & quiet & the bed was firm but good for us. Everything was fresh & clean & the breakfast room beautifully restored to its former glory. The breakfast itself was good. No trouble finding places to eat nearby.
Two very small things, no full length mirror & no case stand. The entry to the hotel has graffiti everywhere & the lift is a bit run down but don't let this put you off, the hotel is fabulous.
In the heart of the old city, bags of charm, great staff and fantastic value. Would recommend this place to all! Loved it!
The hotel is beautiful. Comfortable, quiet rooms. Very clean and spacious. Super friendly staff.
Unfortunately the location is not great looking. Quite scary for one in our group. It was safe though! Just mentioning so you are aware. Once you get inside the hotel you will be very pleasantly surprised!
Staff were very friendly and helpful, room was clean and spacious. Great location on quiet street not far from main tourist sites.
Balcony was shared with another room.
The breakfast room, the corridors, the whole building, the situation, the quietness, the employees, the breakfast (except they don't have sfoliatelle! )
The broken shower, the defectuous air conditioned system
The rooms were very comfortable and clean, wifi excellent. Air-con good and could sleep through it (which is needed in August). Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast room is like a palace. Classy place, although some might not like the back streets of Naples or the lift to the hotel! Will certainly go again when we undoubtedly go to Naples again. Good value.
Whilst we are ok with the graffiti and edginess of back street Naples, even though you are not far off main thoroughfares it might put some off. The breakfast was a bit limited but the surroundings more than make up for it.
- Great, helpful staff. - Superb location for the older parts of Naples. - Cool historic palazzo. - Great breakfast in an amazing ballroom. - Roomy bathroom.
Location was great for tourist area. Wi-fi worked well. Reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Shower is lovely.
I'm glad we got a taxi from the airport as I think I would have found it difficult to find this hotel.
All was just fine!
It's not about the hotel, but the area around was very dirty.
Lovely historic building with helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Very central in old Naples. Good restaurants around.
Old Naples is ground zero for graffiti which may take a bit of getting used to in the area outside the hotel. The hotel itself is spotless.
Staff fantastic and extremely helpful! Very large rooms with spectacular, incredibly large bathrooms - by far the best in any hotel I have stayed in when visiting Italy in the past 30 years!! Walking distance to the National Archeological Museum - a must see! Many restaurants and Bistros, all in walking distance. I never felt unsafe on these streets. Hotel also in walking distance to the new Metro underground rail road. Breakfast is served in a spectacular, very large 15 century with lovely preserved murals and providing moments of staring through mouthfuls of delicious croissants. A grand piano is at one end for leisurely entertainment. There is also a fantastic roof garden with stunning outdoor furniture for taking a break from site seeing! I can not say enough of this incredible hotel!
Arriving at the hotel by taxi - as I could not figure how to get there from the Central Naples Station - we had to be dropped off in a small piazza as no cars can fit I to the street in front of hotel. There were signs to the hotel with entry through a very dubious looking elevator. So seeing the reception for the first time was spectacular considering the surrounding area all filled up with graffiti.
Napoli - faded and neglected grandeur
the elegance and graciousness of the room, the dining room and and staff
the courtyard entrance and the elevator makes it look like the awful things one hears about naples...
Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff - the dining hall is simply unbelievable.
The WiFi was bad (but then, it´s a minor detail)
