- Great, helpful staff. - Superb location for the older parts of Naples. - Cool historic palazzo. - Great breakfast in an amazing ballroom. - Roomy bathroom.
Location was great for tourist area. Wi-fi worked well. Reception staff were very helpful. Breakfast was good. Shower is lovely.
I'm glad we got a taxi from the airport as I think I would have found it difficult to find this hotel.
All was just fine!
It's not about the hotel, but the area around was very dirty.
Lovely historic building with helpful staff and comfortable rooms. Very central in old Naples. Good restaurants around.
Old Naples is ground zero for graffiti which may take a bit of getting used to in the area outside the hotel. The hotel itself is spotless.
the elegance and graciousness of the room, the dining room and and staff
the courtyard entrance and the elevator makes it look like the awful things one hears about naples...
Excellent hotel with friendly and helpful staff - the dining hall is simply unbelievable.
The WiFi was bad (but then, it´s a minor detail)
Character and atmosphere of hotel was excellent.
Very good location in middle of historic area with easy walk to churches/squares/restaurants, even archaelogical museum not far. No problem walking out for meal (obviously pizza!) in the evening. Excellent hotel recommendations for sightseeing and eating. Lovely rooms, high standard of cleanliness. Continental breakfast buffet with perfectly adequate choice. Helpful and friendly staff, would not hestitate to go back. Very very good for 3-star and in our opinion good value for money. Quiet at night and comfortable bed. Wifi good. Loved the historical part of this city, it is grubby, hot and dilapidated, but full of character and characters.
We did flood the bathroom when taking a shower.
Almost everytrhing and particularly the deco and location which is purely perfect to visit Naples
The breakfast should be improved
Great location in the historic center of Naples, friendly helpful staff who go out of their way to help.
The hotel and staff were both excellent. The breakfast room absolutely amazing and it was nice to have a courtyard that all guests can use. We arrived at the hotel at 6.30am on a boat from Palermo so the staff kindly stored our luggage until our room was ready and kindly provided breakfast for us which was a really nice gesture. Everything was perfect.
On arrival at the hotel you get a bit of a shock at the outside - graffiti everywhere and a very shabby looking lift. However once you arrive on the 2nd floor all that is forgotten as the hotel is beautiful. The hotel only owns the 2nd floor so I guess they cannot improve the exterior image or lift as the building is occupied by a lot of other people.
clean, quiet, nice. excellent stuff. wonderful location.
superb décor throughout; very unique and historical. Good spacious bedrooms and plenty of room to sit outside and in the breakfast room on comfortable chairs and sofas.
The entrance and the initial impression of the hotel is run down - the lift is very offputting - we were two ladies travelling together and were a bit unsure of our bearings.
The staff are excellent, attentative and friendly. The location is perfect for visiting the historic centre and quiet during the night.
It seems the hotel needs more wifi booster points throughout it to strength the wifi access in the rooms.
Beautiful building helpful staff
This was our 3rd visit to the hotel which again we really enjoyed. The location is excellent as we love the hustle and bustle of the area. Also the staff are very helpful and friendly.
My husband had trouble with the television as he wanted to see some of the world cup football. We also thought the hotel was in need of a little attention this time.
The staff was great gave wonderful directions for our day trips we went on our own no structured guides and saved about 100 Euro's a day.
Naples is a bit dirty but an old city, was just a base from where we started our day
Nice well located. Friendly staff. Will book again if in naples
Good location for museum and church but it is bad neighborhood.
It is very difficult to access by your own car as it is small road and one way traffic.
tax was €5 not €1.50 as stated on this site.
fantastic in every way
The Staff so friendly and helpfull all of them .Location.Quite.clean.It was my 2nd visit and last at this Hotel.
shower. water all over the floor.shower head black needs replacing.beds no mattress covers only thin sheet and matteress stains.dark small room window in door at the end of the room shared balconey.breakfast basic .
comfortable place in center of old city
the room was quite dark
Location and Staff. This gem is well concealed but well worth the effort to find.
A little more variety with breakfast but this was a minor problem.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast room is very impressive as advertised and breakfast was good. The ceilings in the room were about 20' high and beamed.
Little natural light in the room - a door to a shared balcony but no windows which made it a bit small and gloomy. The lift to the hotel was unbelievably shabby like a rundown estate - scarred battleship grey paintwork and a smashed window - quite a surprise to go into an elegant lobby, but a bit disconcerting when you first arrive. Needs a bit of paint and a nice sign.
