In central Pompeii, Hotel Iside is just 325 ft from the archaeological ruins and 650 ft from the main square. The hotel's surrounding garden with citrus trees guarantees peace and quiet.

Very clean and comfortable. Owners friendly and helpful with us all the time.
Stayed for 7 days, good base for what I required. Comfortable, clean, quiet, charming staff.
The location of the hotel is convenient for visiting Pompeii. It is a short walk to both entrance to the Pompeii. Town center and the cathedral are in short distance from the hotel as well. It is also close to many nice restaurants nearby including the famous Add' U Mimi.
The furniture and the interior are quite old and need refurbishment.
The room was spotless bathroom same, the owners were friendly and helpful at all times.we stayed an extra day!!!
There's nothing not to like
excellent location Near entrance to Pompeii ruins 15 minute walk to train station 10 minute walk to town large grocery/market 2 minutes walk The beautiful basilica downtown - must see
breakfast could have been a little more robust - but adequate
position for visit to Pompeii archaeological site.
right on the corner of a very busy intersection so very noisy.
Beautiful ancient wisteria canopy. Spotless dining hall decorated with interesting memorabilia that seems to have been collected over generations.
good parking. clean hotel. perfect for Pompei ruins.
restaurant closed. bar closed.
Ideally situated, walkable from the railway station, a great location to visit the Pompeii ruins. Nice breakfast.
friendly staff very near Pompeii entrance nice dog! parking bathrooom little balcony
Quiet and secure. Clean and comfortable. Close to Pompeii entrance and exit. Walking distance from Railway station.
Hot water needed to be turned on, just ask.
Very helpful, friendly staff
Location, breakfast and staff Balconies( overlooking the road to the ruins and town); after 5pm you can enjoy a less fierce sun if you sit out (it is a main road but there is a vibrancy which enhances the stay). To sleep the room is quiet due to the excellent door sealing and in general the hotel is very quiet with a wonderful wisteria terrace and parking area
Lack of coffee facilities in room
The location was excellent for visiting the ruins in Pompeii. The staff were helpful and even made breakfast for us an hour before normal serving time as we had an early flight.
The hotel was very clean.
The wardrobe had a musty smell. My room was facing the road and I had to keep the patio doors shut to keep the traffic noise out which meant the room got too hot. Cereal and bread at breakfast didn't have a great taste. At times the bar didn't have any white wine or still water. The hotel does not have a chapel, despite claiming it has on booking.com.
Lazybones here was late for breakfast as it finishes a bit earlier than the norm. The very kind gentleman fixed me a cup of tea and a croissant- legend! Location- Very near the entrance to the ruins and a short walk into Pompei town. Also next to a big Carrefour for shopping. Balcony overlooking the ruins. Off-road parking.
The constant hum of traffic on the cobbled street
Great hotel close to ruins and town. Also close to a supermarket for snacks and toiletries. Very friendly restaurant and bar opposite. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were really helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Used the bus and train to get to Pompeii from Naples and the hotel's airport shuttle to return. Both methods were good but bus and train cheaper, if on a budget.
The owners and staff couldn't have been more helpful, spoke English (fortunately for us) and even provided breakfast early when we had to leave very early for the airport. The shuttle bus picked us up and took us back to Naples for our flights, saving us the problem of negotiating public transport in Naples. The hotel had a family feel to it, beautifully decorated, the rooms were spotless, lovely shower room, balcony, comfortable beds. There is a restaurant opposite the hotel where we could either eat in or bring back pizza to our rooms, at very reasonable prices. The hotel is 5 mins walk from the tourist office and the ruins of Pompeii. There is also a supermarket round the corner. We looked at other hotels while we were there, and concluded that we got the best deal. We would definitely stay there again.
The only thing missing was tea/coffee facilities in the room. Otherwise cannot think of a single criticism.
The friendly staff, Virgini was very nice....the location is great. Close to town, restaurants and Pompei riuns. It was so noce sitting outside under the vines and sipping on a drink.
Room a little too small, but no big deal
Parking facility was excellent.
Stale breakfast with inability to make a decent cappuccino.
It was close to everything we wanted to see and do. Transport links excellent. Hotel spotless. Owners wonderful. Balconies an absolute bonus.
The hotel is quite lovely and within easy walking distance of Pompeii. The breakfast was excellent.
Close location to the old Pompeii site, restaurants and train station. Easy place to do day trips from, the breakfast set up was good.
Concertina shower doors, after twelve weeks of travel this was a first, but not a show stopper.
Close to get onto motorway back to Naples. See Pompei ruins from room. Free car parking. decent choice of breakfast.
On main road which is very noisy, hence double glazed windows. Ants in room. Receptionist bit offhand on arrival, but evening shift gentleman very nice. Not in best area, turn right out of entrance, walk 10 mins and great marble cathedral and nice places to eat.
