Great Breakfast Liked the service in the Bar. They went and got me a soup in the evening from a restaurant across the road.
Having chipped coffee pot with no lid didn't impress me... Otherwise good.
we loved the room and location. very clean.
no tea or coffee in the room. no room service. no english breakfast of any kind. one staff member was not helpful and she also sent us to the wrong location which cost us 20 euros. jacuzzi cold in the spa.
Advertised as having a Spa however on attempting to use it, discovered had to pay 20 Euros per person each time we used it. Very bad given price of the hotel and the fact this is not clear when booking. No tea coffee in room. No iron in room. No robe in room unless use spa. Bar area at night not staffed Poor service when tried to get coffee in the evening. Waited half hour. Would not stop here again.
It was far enough away from Termini station and on a quiet street but a 10-20 minute walk to everything except the Vatican. Daily breakfast was great and the bathroom was awesome.
The wi-fi was a bit weak but did work, just slow.
The Dei Borgia is in the tick of everything, but on a quiet side street off Via Nationale. You can walk to all the sights within 30 minutes. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the rooms are remodeled and clean. Staff is helpful and breakfast was ample.
The quirks... They gave us hours for the gym/spa, but those were not followed very closely. The spa is clearly new and looks great, but NOT worth the 20 euros per person for entry- the hot tub was cold, and the room temp was colder so we really froze when we got out. To warm up we jumped into the steam room, but it had a distinct mildew smell which is the worst thing to be breathing in via steam! We were refunded, but future bookers don't use this as the selling point!
The hotel was in a great location. There was great shops around the area , and was close to the colosseo. The staff was excellent. We will be going back to stay there again
Location , cleanliness, comfort ,breakfast was great
Very friendly, helpful staff, spotless marble halls and corridors. Comfortable bed, and good shower room. Pleasant breakfast in the dining room.
I found the very sophisticated room key did not unlock the door on several occasions, and had to ask the bellboy for help.
Room and breakfast
It seems that all showers leak water to the floor.
The reception was welcoming and kind. Hotel is located in the centre, all major attractions within walking distance(we used metro only once for Vatican, it's a bit far) It's also close to Termini station so after taking the train downtown you can walk to the hotel. Beautifully decorated rooms, with great bathrooms. Delicious breakfast. All of hotel employees were really nice.
Poor Wi-fi signal in the rooms. Breakfast is same everyday so it gets boring after a while.
The hotel was very nice. Choosing from the internet is always iffy and this turned out very well. Breakfast was more than adequate. The room quite comfortable.
We requested an early check- in time since we were flying all night and arriving first thing in the morning. They granted our request but when we got to the hotel our room was not ready. While we were able to leave our suitcases we had to walk around with a heavier tote bag and backpack then we normally would have taken with us since they were filled with items from the flight. And after 9 hours on a plane, it would have been nice to freshen up a bit before beginning our exploration of Rome.
Nice person at front desk called Valentina; Close to importants points of interest.
Narrow street, difficult to stop the taxi; There view from my room was not good.
Clean and bright room. Felt quite comfortable.
We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and I have to say it was really lovely! Breakfast was included and was very tasty with a wide variety. The room was small but spotlessly clean! Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great with many landmarks within walking distance!! The hotel can arrange private transfer to and from Ciampino airport for €50 each way. A public taxi was more expensive.
Rooms were small but having said that they are lovely decorated and spotlessly clean!!
Breakfast Location Helpful Staff WiFi Worked The staff spoke English very well, were able to help me with everything I needed to know about the area, arrange transport. The breakfast was very nice. I liked that it wasn't just a European breakfast, they had eggs, etc for a more American/Global selection. Very nice boutique facility that is new and clean and hip/classy looking. Compared to the old warehouse of a hotel I stayed at in Catania, this was a great stay.
Uncomfortable Bed. I noticed this at pretty much all the hotels I stayed at in Italy - hard mattresses and bad pillows.
the hotel is central if you are visiting for tourism.
No parking, thye use a garage 10 minutes walk away, which is expensive and inconvenient. They refused to cancel my booking when I discovered this, because I was mislead during the search phase.
Proximity to shopping , monuments and restaurants
Unable to adjust aircon below 21degrees which made for a sticky night. Opening window left traffic noise get in.
Valentino was very helpful in assisting us with taxis, restaurants and sights, for a new member of staff she was very capable
We requested a late check out, was nt available we then asked if we could have a shower as we had a late flight, said we could but there would be a charge of 50 euro, thought they could have at least offered it a bit cheaper also we booked a taxi to the airport at checkout and where told it had been charged to our credit card, when we got to the airport the taxi requested payment and we didnt have any euros, when we phoned the hotel to check we found the manager male very rude and hard to deal with - think as a manager on both of these occasions he was very hard to deal with
Loved the comfort of the hotel, staff very helpful
No atomsphere in the bar, Breakfast was ok
Everything; lovely calm breakfast room with excellent service; immaculate bedrooms; prime location within 15 minutes of major sites
location, very clean.
Everything. Staff very helpful as one would expect. Super king-size bed, copious breakfast, beautiful marble everywhere. Bedroom, bathroom, bath and shower and surroundings were first class.
Location is good (you can walk to the main sites). Room is quiet. Breakfest is good.
WiFi signal is very week (unable to download messages and work). For the price they should improve that.
