Beautiful and comfortable. Loved Venice and the hotel was the perfect place to explore from.
The quality of this hotel is far superior to what we previously stayed in and great value, breakfast was good, wifi good and staff were helpful
Nothing negative will definitely stay there again and will recommend to friends & family
We can't say enough about how wonderful the staff was to us, they helped us with everything we needed. Train tickets, taxi, directions to restaurants, dinner reservations, extra bed in our room, rooms next to each other, umbrellas for the 5 of us. Such a friendly staff. The hotel was clean, organized and decorated nicely.
Weak signal on WI-FI
Staff extremely nice and helpful Spacious room Excellent location Very nice looking hotel
Well if I had to mention 1 thing, it would be the breakfast which had limited options.
Very cute and comfortable rooms, stable internet connection. Very friendly and professional staff, as well as the hotel by itself.
It was extremely difficult to find a hotel - staff did not give me any map on the booking. Choice of breakfast was not wide enough - no any hot food.
The staff is very helpful. The place and location is very nice. The room is clean and well prepared.
We arrived nearly 2hours later than expected (11pm) & we were very pleased to have such a friendly welcome for the Night Staff. The room was exactly how it looked on the picture. Some little bits of decor were a bit tired close up, but that didn't bother us, as it had a luxurious feel & character. There was a good choice at breakfast and a lovely lady who were extremely pleasant and helpful. We really enjoyed the hotel.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room had an amazing view and it was very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect as well since it was only a ten minute walk to Piazza San Marco, and close to a vaporetti station. Overall, very good experience, would definitely recommend.
Very nice staff! And perfect location - quite place and 5 min. walking to St.Marco. Good view on Crand Canal from some of rooms!
Internet connection could be better - you have to log on and enter password every time you start your device.
Excellent location. Bathtub and room great. Service friendly and good. Good wifi.
Shower, boring breakfast (not 4 star quality). Don't book (tours, gondolas, etc.) through hotel, pretty expensive.
location, breakfast, staff
beds, spotty wifi
Excellent view over canal Staff very accommodating
Staff were very friendly and accomodating. The view from the room was fantastic and the bath was awesome.
Only the location , nothing else at all
The room is very small and uncomfortable. The hotel itself is Very old. Not clean and dull. Not worth the money. Very expensive for all the services.
The room and location
The additional bed was way too soft
Room with a view of the grand canal
Room was very small for the price
Close to everything, ideally located
No restaurant but plenty of places to eat around and about.
Nice hotel; very friendly people at the reception - helpful and just nice !!! Our room was spacious and bathrooms were nice. Fresh towels every day and plenty of shampoo and other toiletries. Room was always cleaned well before noon, so you could always come back to a nicely made room, with made beds and overall cleanness .
Pillows were not very comfortable, in fact they were unnecessarily downgrading our experience of staying at this charming hotel. My suggestion to the Management is: CHANGE THEM ASAP, IF YOU CAN !!! Wi-Fi should be FREE at such a hotel, regardless if you book directly your room or through another website. It is XXI Century for the God's Sake.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and I liked the large bath, although not a bath that you can lie down in, as it is more like a square pool as it is lined with travertine tiles. The hotel is well positioned for St. Mark's Square.
The hotel advertises itself as having "splendid views of the Grand Canal" - they do not. They are back from the canal with water views only from a very few rooms, but looking over roof tops. They have one room with fairly good views that is used as their advertising picture, but don't be fooled. This is only from one room. We were given Room 25 which had water views, but again over rooftops. You can see the Peggy Guggenheim museum from the hotel. If you do a Google Map search, you will see what I mean. I didn't like the fact that there were no coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms, and the milk served in the breakfast room was long life milk. When I asked for fresh milk, I was told there wasn't any. Breakfast was average, and there is no restaurant on the premises. The hotel is not easy to find from the Giglio vaporetta stop. You have to go through 2 piazzas before tracking back towards the water. All in all, there is nothing special about this hotel, and the rates during the main tourist season are astronomically expensive. Definitely, not value for money. I would not stay here again. This is our 4th trip to Venice.
The staff were very friendly and professional and the location was great, the beds were also very comfortable
There was a lot of mould in the bathroom and the carpet in some spots was damp
The hotel was very convenient to reach from the Vaporetto stop (about as convenient as it gets in Venice). The staff was superb and even helped me secure dinner reservations before our trip. The room, while small, was elegant and comfortable with a view of the grand canal.
Paying for Wi-Fi. I don't see why they can't make it free like many other places. We travelled all around Europe on this trip and stayed in 8 different hotels (one of which was a 13th cenrury castle in Ireland), and this was the only one that didn't offer free Wi-Fi.
Did not recieve pleasant welcoming from one of staff for us arriving around 6 pm for check in I will not visit the hotel again
Location was good and the staff is helping.
The aircon was broken , the room was like a sauna so had to open the window.
A two star dressed in 4 star dress. It dose not reflect what is advertised. Not such a good location. Bed horrible, staff worse. I recomend Torino, much closer, better, cheaper!
Good location, decent breakfast
This hotel isnt a 4 star hotel at all. Poor sleeping quality, hard matress. They should indicate AC is only on in selected months. The room (family room) was too warm. The staff could be more friendly.
