Ca’ Delle Erbe is on one of Mantua’s most historic squares, in a restricted traffic area right across from Palazzo della Ragione and its beautiful clock tower.

Location, great breakfast also super for other meals. Like a hub all main attractions all around easy to walk to. Great city for lovers of history, art and architecture. Palazzo Te an absolute must see!
excellent location the breakfast!! local cake as a free gift upon checkout
our room looked out over the square and though we had no issues with any noise, the curtains were incredibly thin and were highly unhelpful in blocking the light from the lamp posts on the square. Though the room and ensuite bathroom were clean, the common bathroom in/below the lobby was in dire need of repair.
Good location. Proximity of restaurants.
Very old but newly renovated large room and bath with good towels, good bed and lighting, adequate storage space, good wifi in room.
Parking can be a problem, but can be managed with help from hotel; safe in room wasn't bolted down.
Great location, clean and comfortable place.
Great location, with my room overlooking the main square, very friendly and helpful staff and a good breakfast. Great value. I arrived by car, and they provided me with a parking permit for the restricted traffic zone - all much easier than I thought it would be!
The room was fairly basic, but still comfortable.
The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good with plenty of choice and the hotel is located in the charming historic centre of Mantova on the Piazza Sordello
Our room did not have the usual small safe for valuables but it seems that most of the rooms do have a safe.
Good location. Room clean, very basic with uncomfortable bed with shower that worked well.
Room on 4th floor more like hostel accommodation than 3 star hotel. Request room that is not on 4th floor if possible as other floors looked more promising.
The view to the main square.
Poor wi-fi quality.
Location is amazing - right in the centre between the 2 main squares. We were there on a Sunday and the streets were jammed as there was a literature festival on and would like to see the city when it was easier to move around. Room had view over a square which was very pleasant. Had lunch at their restaurant and it was excellent and is located on the square. Good breakfast and sat outside for a while after breakfast to enjoy the view.
We had reserved parking and received direction related e-mail from hotel but when we arrived no parking available at hotel - Receptionist tried to direct us to parking much further away in an extremely busy city which we refused. Only then did she say that for €2.60 you can get a permit note which allows parking in restricted areas for hotel guests for 24 hours. So, off we went to try to find a space which we did but it wasnt easy - she also didnt suggest that we bring our luggage in before we set off so we had to carry it a considerable distance back. She didnt even look up when we arrived back or offer us some water - which we later spotted was available in the lobby. It was a boiling hot day and I felt unwell by the time I got to the room. I had assumed that my correspondence with the hotel had guaranteed a parking space and that was why we had booked that hotel. On the other hand the 2.60 permit change was probably a lot less than the hotel would have charged for parking. Check out is 10 a.m which is very early.
Excellent location for sightseeing. Right in the centre with shops and restaurants on the doorstep. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Good internet.
I was unaware that there was a major car rally starting around the time of my visit so I think the room I was given was one that is only used when the hotel is heavily booked. My room was in a residence slightly apart from the hotel, which made it a little less convenient, but it was stlii well situated. Perhaps I would have rated one of the regular hotel rooms higher for cleanliness and comfort.
Excellent location in historic centre. Friendly reception on arrival. Double room with good facilities for aging single traveller like me, including good en suite shower etc. All well prepared and spotlessly clean. Good breakfast buffet and service. Hotel has restaurant and there are others nearby - I had a good dinner on the recommendation of the hotel receptionist. An enjoyable two nights there. Good value overall.
No particular issues.
Excellent location. Wonderful breakfast.
A wonderful room in a historic building overlooking the cathedral square. Very clean. The staff were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and unusually for Italy, with a choice of a cooked breakfast. Very good value if anyone is visiting Mantua
The position in the most beatiful place of Mantova. The efficient staff
the shower. Poor water pressure.
View from room Central location Comfortable bed Easy parking
Only 1 chair in room Breakfast basic with minimal quality Bidet shower not practical
Breakfast was ok, and the rooms spacious for 4 persons; very helpful staff; great position in the city
everything was just fine
Perfect location. Rich breakfast.
Had booked 1 double & 1 twin room on uppermost floor: rooms very clean, basic but quality furniture and good beds, darkish rooms as windows small (strong indirect lighting to compensate), but excellent view on Ducal Palace and piazza! Slept well even through installation of big Thursday market! Very good breakfast.
given the really advantageous price: nothing!
Lots of lovely cafés in the three squares; we enjoyed both the Palazzo Ducale and the Palazzo Te. The boat trips were a bit hit and miss. Our favourite meal was in the Griffone Bianco Piazza Erbe- highly recommended
Monday was almost a complete dead loss - everything shut! Italians don't seem to exploit tourists as much as they could - or should!
This was our favorite hotel in northern Italy. Our room was a good size, with a wonderful view of Piazza Sordello -- a pleasure to see every morning and evening in this beautiful city. Good breakfast, surprisingly low room rate. We especially appreciated the help of Alina, a wonderfully pleasant and gracious host.
Location is fantastic. View over the square incredible. Food in restaurant really good and well priced against local competition. Staff really helpful and friendly, complimentary gift a really nice and appreciated gesture. Parked locally at small cost.
Nice family hotel, beatifiul location, typically Italian, Nice small town, nice local food in Osteria.
The moscuito's but that was only outside
location on the main piazza excellent exceptional view
mantua is a small city best visited as a day trip from bergamo or cremona
