Location was close to sites to see in Florence, an easy walk, and easy to find. Room was small but modern and well appointed. Air conditioning and WIFI worked well. Window on back alley leaked during a hail storm but attentive staff ensured towels caught the water and moved my bags to a safe part of the room. Staff were very pleasant and helpful - booked a cooking class for me that was excellent.
The second floor location, with no lift, means luggage must be carried up the stairs. However, the entrance stair well is quite nice looking. TV stations did not include English station.
Picture perfect location, beautiful views from the room of the marina, comfortable, host meet you at the station and walk you to the accommodation perfect place to reside during a visit to Cinque Terre...
Very comfortable firm bed, excellent water pressure, friendly staff and very clean.
no elevator, hotel is up 2 flights of stairs. Tough when dragging a heavy bag behind you.
Excellent location, near all sites. Excellent service. Make sure you book Paolo for a tour. He is great!
No elevator but that's minor considering all else.
The rooms are not street side so you get a nice quiet stay. The public rooms are really nice and comfortable places to take a break from the bustle of Florence. The hotel can recommend an excellent guide (Paolo Rosso). We can strongly recommend Paolo; he took us to the Uffizi, which we had visited previously but not really got past the crowds. Paolo guided us to the most important sequences of paintings and sculptures and was informative about their significance. He was also able to place work in the context of art developments and social history. This guided visit was the highlight of our trip and I would strongly recommend using Paolo's services. All the staff were excellent - no complaints at all.
Breakfast coffee was not to our liking, but the staff rapidly produced excellent double espressos that really hit the spot.
The place is very nice, and if you drive there, you can park your car in front and they will call a driver that will take your car and park it somewhere else. The bathroom was large and nice and the water was hot! What more can you ask... :)
The only thing I didn't like was that there was no blanket on the bed, and I was a little chilly. I should have asked for one, but I didn't, but I think it should have been there. Other than that, it was fine.
Quality of rooms Similar price to another hotel we stayed in and this was much superior. Bathroom was lovely - which makes a big difference to how one would rate a hotel. New, clean and fresh
Feel like family. Safe and cared for. So important for single woman traveller over 65. Saw me arrive downstairs and ran down to help with luggage.
The room was modern but still a touch of the old Italy. The breakfast room was pleasant and well presented with plenty of choice. Excellent location close to the train station.
Stairs up to the reception desk annoying there was no lift with luggage. Staff made no offer to help me with my bag on the way out. One staff member quite rude with no personality. No restaurant In the hotel at night if you didn't want to go out.
Tiny small room. Not too clean. Some staff were extremely unhelpful.
Excellent nights sleep in a quiet location but still really near to everything.
Great location - centrally located close to all main Florence sites Amazingly clean and tidy Really reasonably priced Great choice for breakfast buffet Car parking available with free valet service Very helpful and friendly staff Great decor
friendly staff location very close to cathedral, only 200m beautiful dining room and good room service
car parking not close by
Great location 7-8 mine walk to bus and train station. 2 mins walk to The Duomo. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was perfect with AC. Good breakfast.
Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. A bit of a town so a car is needed but excellent value for money. We missed the bus into town and were given a lift in. Nothing was too much trouble.
Nothing. It was lovely.
Location was fantastic. While not in the center of Florence, it was close enough to access the Academia, the Duomo and some other sights with incredible ease.
Breakfast was plentiful, but not particularly impressive. Staff was kind enough to make (upon request) coffee from the espresso machine at the bar which was much better than coffee from the automatic machine in the dining room.
All major attractions are in close proximity. It is conveniently located, great value for money. We had a very spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable room.
The location is central. The staff were welcoming, attentive and helpful. The rooms were quiet, clean and comfortable. The wifi worked very well. The continental breakfast had a wide range of options. Overall the stay felt like a home away from home.
- perfect location for a trip to historic Florence, 5 min walk from the Historic Center, far enough to avoid crowds and noise - personnel was extremely professional, polite and helpful - Internet connectivity was flawless
- breakfast was somehow too basic for this price level, and exactly the same for the three days - one needs to climb one (high) floor and carry luggage to get to the hotel reception and rooms, there is no elevator
The bed was hard as a rock.
1. Location very close to the Duomo, about 5 min walk. 2. Staff are friendly and helpful.
1. Sound isolation in our room was not so good. 2. No elevator. Lifting our 30" luggage was a problem. 3. our hair dryer was not working.
No lift to hotel No wifi in room
Everything was outstanding except
The window overlooking the ventilation system, if closed suffocating, if open noisy and smelly.
This quaint boutique hotel is centrally located near the Duomo and is only about a 15 minute walk from the train station, which made life incredibly easy. Our room was extremely clean and comfortable, bathroom was also very clean with a great shower, WiFi worked great, and the continental breakfast was very diverse and delicious. There is a 24 hour staff that is very friendly and always ready to help. Highly recommend this hotel... I will definitely return when I go back to Florence!
I honestly cannot think of even the smallest complaint. This place was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it!
