The rooms at Hotel Dei Vicari are all modernly functional with ample common spaces which have been conceived giving priority to luminosity; furnishings are practical and comfortable with soft fabrics and colors in harmony with the personality of the vivacious décor of the dwelling.
All of the 42 rooms, some with hydro-massage bath tubs included, are equipped with frigo-bar, satellite TV, in room safe, and internet connection.

Area information

Hotel Dei Vicari is located in a very convenient location, roughly 1 kilometre from the International Racing Circuit of Mugello and only 300 meters from the main square in Scarperia and the monumental Palace of Vicari, the Museum of Irons, and the Bottega of Cutlery.
For the sports enthusiast , there are numerous festivities organized by the International Racing Circuit of Mugello and the Poggio dei Medici Golf Club in Scarperia, as well as other recreational activities like water sports including canoeing and sailing at Bilancino Lake, only a few kilometers from Hotel Dei Vicari.

The area offers multiple attractions: leisurely walks and hiking for the more expertise, horseback riding excursions, cycling or mountain biking, archery, competitive fishing, swimming, tennis, equitation, and aero club for parasailing. Numerous are the shops where one can buy products, typical of the region, and the restaurants and trattorias where one can enjoy a taste of authentic Mugellan cuisine not to mention the new "Outlet" shopping mall located at the motorway exit of Barberino Mugello.

The hotel does not have enough parking space for the number of rooms. We checked in around 8pm and there was no space in the front of the hotel but were told we could park at the back - the next day we found a truck had reversed into the car. When we asked for the video of the incident the person we dealt with refused adding that it wasn't turned on to record. (What's the point in having it if it's not turned on??) She was very unhelpful and abrupt in her manner. Not a happy experience.
