The view , the beach and the pool. The towels and air conditioning were fine and the saff helpful and friendly. Torre Canne didn't have a lot to offer but close to other lovely places.

Hotel food ok but not great.

Cleanliness inside hotel and around the pool and beach areas. Staff in all areas of the hotel were friendly and very professional. Capanna in pool area was just great. Really enjoyed our stay.

The beach and the pool were nice, and the hotel was extremely clean

Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. We had a flood one day due to heavy rain, and although the water was cleaned up in our room nobody asked if everything was OK. Food was terrible. Poor choice of food and not well cooked. Not sure how you can go wrong in Italy but Hotel Del Levante managed it. Staff in the restaurant were also unfriendly. I asked for tea one morning and the waiter pointed at the tea pots to go and get it myself. Sometimes when you asked for something such as a cappucino it was more or less thrown at you. I am not sure if it was because we were English - but you really felt you were being a pain if you asked for anything at all. There is also nowhere else to eat (unless you have a car). there is a kids club - but it is no good for children under 7 or 8. They are not geared up for small children at all. All in all I would not recommend this place. Rooms also (although they are clean) are not up to standard - Iexpected a lot more from a 4 star hotel.

beautiful position of the hotel and view from the rooms with sea view, large pool and easy access to the sea, good breakfast, good and friendly staff

for a 4 star hotel rather small and not well isolated rooms, no safe in the room, no direct call to the room, no free wifi, half pensiom lunch and dinner not attractive

They charge a guest for the use of a towel at the pool and beach (€ 5 each and per day). This is very uncommon for a (socalled) 4 stars beach resort hotel. And for the internet ( card) you have to pay € 9 per day, which was known to us upfront but you can only use the card for 1 device. So they are really milking the guests!! And it seems they do not have family rooms so they put 2 extra beds in a room just big enough for two persons. A real lousy hotel!

Restaurants were closed Breakfast was incredibly basic (good for a 2 star hotel), absolutely no fruit at all) Breakfast area was tiny Double room was too small Wi-Fi expensive and slow You need a car to go to a restaurant (or anywhere else)

Location on the beach and sea view is what I prefer and this hotel is located right on the beach. Breakfast was diverse and good. Beach is spacious with sunbeds and umbrellas.

The sea is rather shallow. Prices in the bar are too high. The rest is perfect.

The Hotel was spacious and well presented. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and were very helpful especially with information for local travel by train. The Buffet Breakfast was well laid out with plenty of choice. Having a private beach area was lovely.

Although the Hotel is in a good position for the beach. It is very difficult to get to other places if you do not have your own transport. The hotel can arrange taxis for you to take you on day excursions but it has to be for a minimum of six people. This we did not know until arriving at the hotel and reading the information pack. As there were only three of us it meant that if we did go on any trips we had to pay for six people to cover the costs.

A view from the hotel if you have a sea-view room, free parking, quick access to the regional highway

Hotel staff could have been more friendly and cheerful; clumsy and awkward procedures of assigning seats for half-board visitors in the restaurant for breakfast making you sometimes feel treated as a second- rate visitor; 30 euros for one-week wi-fi access is a bit of the market trend

We found 2 members of front desk staff to be particulary pleasant and helpful (and spoke English very well): Eleanora and Antonia. The private beach just off the hotel is well maintained and the life gaurds by both the pool and beach were very attentive (both for safety and to raise your umbrella). At one point my daughter swallowed too much water in the pool and the lifegaurd was there very quickly to check on her. The pool is very clean. The hotel lobby is modern and comfortable though the rooms are quite basic though spacious. There is a parking attendant that was very helpful. Pizza place next door was quite good and seems to be a family business--not to be confused with pizzaria on hotel grounds. The bakery and vegetable/fruitstand nearby are terrific.

Hotel was definitely not 4 star. Pictures on website were deceptive. We paid for room with sea view which the website shows pictures of the room with a balcony, we had a small window that looked out to the sea and the window opened inward and my 4 year old daughter kept hitting her head on the sharp edge of the window. We requested to be moved and for 2 days they kept saying maybe the next day and though we stayed 8 nights we never were moved. The singing ("evening entertainment") outside is very loud and goes on until 11:30 each night and makes sleeping difficult, particularly for young children. Beware if you are sensitive to smoke: though our reservation was for nonsmoking, there was an ashtray in the room and smoking on either side of us. Non-smoking room seems to be you choosing not to smoke in your room, not a room designated for non-smokers. The breakfast was not good. Very little fresh fruit/veg (though the area seemed to grow plenty), mostly canned and the fruit that was fresh was really low grade: apples and pears bruised and mealy, not very tasty, a moldy tomato on the buffet that one seem bothered it was put out. The rest is what you may expect from a hotel breakfast buffet, not impressive considering the region.
