“I liked everything in this hotel: the staff is inconceivably amazing, very helpful and friendly. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious enough. The hotel is quite new and clean. And the famous shopping street Corso Buenos Aires is just round the corner.”

This was by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life and I am saying this not taking into consideration that I almost filed charges against the hotel's so called manager Marco Zaza. There is no way this is a 4 star hotel. At best it is a 2 star hotel. I chose it because of price and proximity to train station since I would be arriving late at night. They gave me a room next to the elevator. Actually the elevator was more like in the room. I went downstairs to ask for another room leaving my bags in the room. When I went back upstairs the traditional key (not card) would not open the door or come out. The key got stuck in the door. I went downstairs to get the receptionist, Claudio. He came and tried to open the door for almost 45 minutes. Eventually he broke the key in the door. He gave me another room and I had to sleep only in my boxers during a cold winter night. It was almost 3:30 am by the time I went to bed. I was supposed to check out early next morning to go skiing but they told me that they could not open the door and get my bags before 10 am. I told them that they should either break the door immediately or let me stay another night at a discount because I was forced to stay an extra night in Milan. They gave me a %40 discount on the room (€30 rate) and promised I would not get a room next to the elevator so I left the hotel around 8 am. I came back to the hotel around 10:30pm the same night. When I asked for the key I noticed they gave me the same room as the night before. I told the receptionist the manager in the morning had promised me I would get another room due to the problems I had experienced the night before. The guy at the reception, Marco Zaza, said that he would not give me another room because "I had cost him €100". I was furious. Claudio had told him I had broken the key although he broke it himself. Even if I had broken the key, Marco had no right to talk to me in that manner. It is a hotel and I am guest for Gods sake. He could not just blame me for something he did not witness. We exchanged ugly words. First time in my life a hotel manager cursed at me when he was supposed to apologize actually. Then he said the room is €100 instead of €30. He said I would either pay €100 or leave or he would call the police. I told him this was an unethical way of doing business besides being extremely rude. Marco said I had no proof of the €30 rate since it was only told to me verbally in the morning by his colleague. This is how low he could sink. I told him to call the police. Of course he called someone else most likely the owner of the hotel and told me I could stay at the rate of the night before, €48. I was so tired from the night before I did not want to go to another hotel. I should have. People like this should not be in business. No one should stay here eventhough it is cheap.

This hotel is just perfect.. Because I have been there in Feb, and it gave me a good impression..So this time I chose it again with no doubt. Location is good, very convenient but very quiet. Friendly stuff. The bathroom might be smaller for "big" people, but for me is okay. Breakfast is good. Wifi is free.

We spent two nights in the hotel with my husband and a baby and liked everything about it except for the weather. But this is not a hotel's fault indeed :) Clean, quiet, centrally located, staff ready to help, breakfast - really abundant and beyond my expectations (worth noting that I'm a vegetarian). WiFi free! A minor dislike - cold tiled floor and only because my baby used to toddle barefooted.

The Hotel was very clean and the breakfast buffet was outstanding. It is in a very convenient location. The decor is modern. Wifi worked very well. The hotel advertises English TV and the directory includes CNN International and BBC, although neither of them were available when I channel surfed.

Starting from the location is very good in the centrale of Milan and 1 min from metro station and 2 stations from the centrale station with all connections trains busses metro and transportation to the airport. Second the stuff are very welcomed, smily, speak a good english, helpful and very friendly. Room is modern decoration renovated with a nice new shower and toilet, they clean ur room everyday and change the sheet and towels..breakfast was good and rich ham, cheese, juices, croissant, cakes, fruits, milk, tea, coffee...and a very fast wifi Internet in the room for free. I enjoyed my stay in hotel so for sure my next visit to Milan will be in this hotel :) I really recommend Hotel del Corso to other travellers.

I believe this hotel will only survive due to its location and proximity to metro station. Cleanliness is the only other factor to mention. I stayed in a single room. Well, I had a bigger bed when I was at the kindergarden. I am not the tallest man but my legs were hanging out. And this is not a joke. Avoid single room unless you are shorter than 180 cm and have very narrow shoulders.

The hotel itself met the standard. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was good. The hotel is very close to the big metro station, which allows you to access other areas of Milan easily. However, if you're looking for an easier accessed hotel, you would probably choose a hotel closer to the Milan Station Centrale. I was not the fan of the location. We needed to take the taxi to and from the hotel to get in and out of Milan city center. The really weak point is probably the staff's lack of knowledge about many attractions. We bought tickets to see Leonardo's The Last Supper. We were told that the chapel, in which exhibits the painting, was only 8 minutes away and was easily accessed. It's true that it was easily accessed, but it certainly took more than 30 minutes not to mention that the front desk staff told us the wrong station; so we got lost in Milan for quite a while. When we asked about the outlet over at Swiss Border, Fox Town, the front desk staff told us to take a taxi. Fortunately, we researched because it would probably cost us 100 euro to take the taxi. However, the hotel really assisted us when we wanted to leave the luggages at the hotel. There were quite a number of luggages; so the staff opened a room for us to keep all our bags. That was really helpful. Over all, it's a nice and comfortable hotel recommended for people with small luggage.

It is a nice location to metro station and to Central Train Statoin, but it is quite a walk till Duomo. In general hotel was clean, and stuff was friendly. By the way - hotel was an elevator. It is definatively not a 4 stars hotel breakfast.
